Finished this one this morning. Look Ma--No HOCKEY!!! Although the word does appear in the journaling... Swim Team 19-20 by Gramma Dee, on Flickr So sad for this girl this week. She was SO pumped to be going to an invitational swim meet in Spain next week: an amazing opportunity for a 14 year old, and hard faught for to earn the spot. Of course that meet has been cancelled (and before that the swim club made the call to NOT attend). Two weeks ago it was still on and she was vibrating with excitement. This week she has no school, no swim practice sessions, no meeting up with her friends... She is one sad teen. Fortunately, her communication with friends on line is ongoing, and her family does alot of activities at home--farm chores, group movie watching, sock hockey with her little brothers, lots of card and board games--that will tempt her (and sometimes FORCE her) to come out of her room and socialize. POINTS: two pages created & shared (4). #6 sports (2), #11 I don't live here (2), #24 dies (2), #29 PL card (1), #32 puffy stickers (1), #33 three patterns (1), #45 6+ photos (2), #46 popped up title (1), #47 stickers (2), #48 love this girl (2). Linda , it's good to see you scrapping the events surrounding the loss of your mum. I like that you explain the background, but emphasize the positive in this page. Of course your banners are bang on. And red/black/white are the perfect colours. AussieMeg, there is love on Flickr.

Dance pages finished. The dancer is my niece's dd and this was Ukrainian New Years. I had meant to put a Happy New Year! sticker on this somewhere, but am afraid to open up my Christmas stash to look for it... This is a weird photo of the LO. Colours are much more crisp IRL, but this was in full sunlight and I think the gold from the foiled bits threw my iphone into some sort of daze... melanka 2020 by Gramma Dee, on Flickr POINTS: two pages created & shared (4). #10 January photos (10), #23 three fonts (2), #24 diecut boots and stars (2), #29 PL cards (2), #32 three groups of 3 (3) +bonus (5), #37 heart gems (2), #45 6+ photos (2), 346 popped up boots (1), #47 stickers (2), #48 love this girl (2) plus bonus for hearts (2), #49 paper pieced boots (1), #5 handwriting (1). I posted these cards on the stay at home crop thread. I’ve been making cards to donate. I’m using up a 6x6 paper pad, Heidi Swapp Wolf Pack. The photos are not the greatest, I left it a bit late in the day, but hopefully you get the idea! Lots of dark greens, greys, browns, and a very deep blue (all of which probably look black in this lighting - sorry!) I still have lots more to go. I was pretty excited to fit my stamping into those moons on the wolf cards. One card and three pages for me today. Yesterday I was pleasantly surprised to receive my SSS March kit. Inside were some water colour paper card toppers with line drawings and a pack of water colour pencils. I coloured one, then dug out my long out of use water brush and blended. Went on to create the background with TH oxide inks, a water spritzer and the water brush. Added some clear Nuvo drops and sequins. It turned out better than I had thought it might, so I went on to finish it up as a birthday card. watercolour flowers by Gramma Dee, on Flickr Spent the afternoon in a Hangout session with a few Peas. Pulled out my SCT kit from last month, some scraps, and some things I had unearthed in my cleaning session earlier this month to put together three 6x8" pages for my book about me. The first two pages I put together the traditional way. Bd 73 by Gramma Dee, on Flickr curling by Gramma Dee, on Flickr I then filled in the front and back of a PL page protector that came with the SCT kit. This one I scrapped one panel, but the back is simply two photos which I didn't grab a photo of for here. The starburst greeting is a screen shot of a birthday greeting from a Pokey Pea. On the back of this page, I included the special cake that was posted in the NSBR birthday thread for my bd. Bd PL page by Gramma Dee, on Flickr POINTS: one card and three pages created & shared (8). Using Easy Peasy scoring here Four items @ 15 each (60). Total: 68. Doubled for #STAYATHOME crop: 136.

taking a hiatus from scrapbooking to sew masks - my sister and her husband run a nursing home and everyone on staff who sews is sewing masks this weekend and I offered to make some as well. Here's the first six - I'm actually up to eight now.

Those look like really fun patterns, Linda. Are these for the staff or the patients or the visitors? (Are they allowing visitors at all in seniors' care facilities? Here in Alberta they are mandated as closed off from the public). Was chatting with gramma and she was making masks as well.

Those look like really fun patterns, Linda . Are these for the staff or the patients or the visitors? (Are they allowing visitors at all in seniors' care facilities? Here in Alberta they are mandated as closed off from the public). Was chatting with gramma and she was making masks as well. no visitors at senior centres either in Connecticut where my sister lives/works or here in Florida where I live. A wise precaution but difficult for both the residents and the families. My sister says that they have masks NOW but aren't able to restock and are concerned about running out (for staff) - CDC says that cloth masks are better than NO mask so she's trying to be prepared. I bought flannel for the backs as I had none in my stash but the elastic is from stash (thankfully since the shop was sld out of anything smaller than 1") and the fabrics are from my scrap drawer - aren't they fun? I'm hoping if they have to use them, they'll bring a smile or two at a difficult time. do I get any points? I'm thinking there was an other crafts challenge, is there?

Hope you are happy, gramma . Thanks to your help, I managed to cobble together the 4 layer Silhouette title and some chevrons for this LO. I went looking for little boy LO's on my Pinterest boards, and found one I thought would work. The original design hugs the right margin, but I wanted this to be the second page, so I did a horizontal flip, and adapted it. (Well I didn't do a horizontal flip. I DID manage to have the photo I snipped from Pinterest do that so I could use it as a model for my page). Get your GAME on! by Gramma Dee, on Flickr I am attaching the pinned LO below. POINTS: two pages created & shared (4). #7 green (2), #9 from pinned Lo + bonus (4), #10 seven new photos (17), #13 stars (2), #24 diecutting (2), #32 group of three gears on each page (2), #38 stars & gears (2), #45 six + photos (2), #47 stickers (2), #48 love these gus (2), #49 the title (1), #52 circles (2), #57 handwriting (1), #58 scraps (2), #60 birthday (2). Gonna head to the gallery - LOVING the layouts this morning AussieMeg, gramma, grammadee (and that card is lovely, caught my eye in the gallery already when I was uploading mine...) My final crop creation. REALLY different palette for me because I started with Basic Grey "Lucille" cut aparts and banner I found while doing a reorganization. Won them in a prize package from Basic Grey. Not my style, so a great challenge! layout hand me downs by kirstendrew, on Flickr

For this LO I used Vicki Boutin art crayon and white gesso. The top part of the waves were done with a dry stencil brush, which made them lighter, then I spritzed the bush with water, which made them darker at the bottom. Then, I added gesso for texture and the white caps of the waves. The gesso turned out pretty messy, but I like it because waves aren’t perfect! 😁
This is one I posted in the weekend virtual crop after it was over. Oops!

So finally had time to get some photos of what I finished last week! DH has us running around doing his "chore list" as well as what I feel like I should get done in regards to the garden.
and one for the little guy
I like how the design worked for all of the layouts. The die cuts are some ancient Making Memories die cuts.
It TOOK HOURS to figure out how to weld the title for the last layout . . . finally decided to buy the Easy Cut Studio and now have an excellent work around for my Canvas Studio for my ScanNCut. YEAH for me!
I am going over to the MEGAA crop to drop in the layouts I finished during the weekend.

Never mind, looks like I will post here the layouts I did over the second MEGAA weekend:
This is kind of a lift from the Sandy Lion page kit idea on the back with a few tweaks of course!
No new sheets of paper were harmed in the making of both of these layouts. I was working on this during our online Hangouts.
Two versions of this layout because I did just one for DSD

Wow! You Peas have been busy! I need to get caught up with comments! Look at YOU, KikiPea using those stencils, layin' down the pastes and gesso! I KNEW you were a mixed media artist! Love the waves on that first page. Of course the rest of the page is beautiful, too: great clusters, awesome photo, wonderful layering. And I think I need to snip and save that second page to lift later when I am scrapping my ds's family trip to Hawaii. I passed up on that Wander line b/c I have SOOO much travel themed sb stuff, but I might NEED those VB diecuts... Heading to Flickr to leave love for angel97701. Should be love there for kitbop as well.

Is THIS the sketch you gave me a sneak of on Hangout? I went sleuthing through the Sketchy Saturdays and couldn't find it. Then I reached out to Linda cuz she has printouts of alot of the sketches. SHE told me she thought she had seen a page I had made with a viewmaster reel on it. (That would explain why I remembered it!) Scrolled back through my Flickr Photostream, and found my own page. And from the page description, I discovered it was inspired by a sketch posted by KikiPea last August. The sketch looks like one of Becky Fleck's but can't be certain.
