This layout is for the 'Balancing Act' challenge. I bought a number of templates a while ago that are pleasingly symmetrical. This challenge was a good encouragement to get around to using them! Template - 'Single 74 Lots of Snapshots 41' by Cindy Schneider. Kit - 'Bunny Trail' by Bella Gypsy.

linda - *every* time you start posting layouts, I start putting banners and flags on my layouts! They are so clean and create colour contrast and layers, but the fishtail ends create that little bit of "boom". Great layouts, great colours!

Will be back in a moment to leave love for what I have missed since page 2. This is my attempt to meet a couple of the March chalenges--to use one manufacturer and to do some paper piecing: Every day is Game Day by Gramma Dee, on Flickr Almost all of the materials on these two pages are Jillibean Soup 2Cool4School. From page 2: Somehow I missed your lovely daisy cards, gmcwife1 . So pretty. Your cards are going to make so many people happy! Linda , I love the out to dinner LO. The woodgrain and flowery pp are perfect, echoing table and table cloth. And on this page: gmcwife1, that simple design with those pretty papers make these elegant cards that can be used by anyone to anybody. You have such an eye for classic design. Linda, your cover page is really pretty and has a definite SPRING vibe. Jealous here: dh is out clearing snow off our driveway. Again. I agree with kitbop, you really know how to work those banners! I will catch AussieMeg and joblackford on Flickr.

Linda, I love the story about the running oval as seen from Google Earth. And the photo of the branch that "tried to kill" your dd. Great use of that particular pattern here, and the colours are pretty. Speaking of colour, your choice for the New Years dinner are perfect: that plaid really has the feel of a festive table cloth.

You made a beautiful page though so I hope it did bring a smile to your face. I love all the soft colors (and the darker bits that balance the photo) and the drips and the bottom edging detail. It's a delightful page.

I'm almost ready to stop sulking and start living in the moment again, so I hope to catch up on commenting in the next few days. I think I'm going to block out a schedule for myself so I can get some crafting done every day, spend some time outside, and spend some downtime chatting with you all - trying to find some balance! I might even set aside time for work, exercise, and cleaning. Hoping I have some finished things to share soon

I might even set aside time for work, exercise, and cleaning. Hoping I have some finished things to share soon Thank you for your sweet comment. I am having a really hard day today. Feeling a little emotional (It could be PMS, and our overcast/rainy days. We've had 5 1/2" over the last 2 days, and are expecting 2-4" more over the next 5 days, too. Not only are we social distancing, but we can't even spend time outside). I've been on the verge of tears all day. I will be doing a bit of house work, and a bit of crafting/tv binge watching every day to lighten my mood a bit. I hope your dark cloud lifts for you, as well. Hugs!

Awwww.... KikiPea , such a sweet photo! And you scrapped it beautifully. I love how you have melded your beautiful style with the mixed media look, and you’ve managed to do it the “easy” way by using VB’s ready made papers. So sad you are stuck in the rain when you had thought you would be in sunny Vegas. So many dreams and plans being dashed this season... joblackford , I like your idea of trying to get some routine into your life. I have been scrapping a lot b/c it tends to relax me. Believe me I need to focus on calm with dh listening to dire predictions and government announcements on radio, tv and iPad all day... also I’m trying to walk myself back from a full blown gallstone attack. Breathe... sip water... breathe... have started a group text with kids and grandkids. Just one way to get human contact into all our lives.

I am behind again in commenting, but when I had the urge to scrap I decided I'd better do it. My mojo has kind of gone away with all the talk of social distancing. I'm glad we can all stay 6 ft apart and still chat as much as we want! Now if I can just get excited about scrapping again. Valentine Sweetheart

Linda, I love the soft colours on your LO. Cute hair band. KikiPea, glad you are scrapping away the blues. Love that little snowman scene, and the blues on the pp exactly match the snow shadows in the photo: awesome! And that circle pp background pp is perfect for snowballs! Love your corner cluster. But the star of both pages is that little cutie! Speaking of cuties, nylene that little sweetheart could be a model! Will leave love on Flickr.
