Hello! I had such grand plans for this crop and now, I have the time and no mojo. I have no idea why, but I'm still going to try to force it lol. Friday and Saturday got taken up with other things, like watching Rudy Friday. His favorite thing to do right now is to play some learning games on my tablet. He pretty much kicked his dad out and said that he and I would have fun lol. We did lol. And then I invited them for dinner yesterday and pulled things out after they left, but just couldn't get going. It's almost 2PM here and I have done basically nothing today. A lazy day can be good too. LisaDV I'm sorry your DH is still having such a hard time. I always have a cough that just hangs on once I've had a bad cold or flu. I've had one all winter and I'm sure now when I'm out, people are probably wondering if I have the coronavirus lol. Oh yes, our summers are way hotter and way more humid than yours. There were two things I loved about when I lived in Indiana - the huge lake effect snowstorms and the mild summers. grammadee what a bummer that your no closer to answers on your GB. I hope they find you the very best surgeon and are able to do it laparoscopically. kellyr21 I love your new profile pic! I got no line bifocals about 10 years ago, and I have never gotten used to them. So I mostly just wear my glasses when I'm driving or watching TV. I need them for distance. I don't like having to move my head to use the bifocal and it seems to mess with my close up vision so my glasses spend a lot of time of top of my head lol. (((HUGS)))) Linda. I can't even imagine what you are going through, I'm glad the estate sale went well, and hope the house goes to people that will love it. It really is good to see you scrapping again! Especially since you're on my team kitbop I hope the competition is going well! Kitting up pages is hard for me. Once I have the idea and the supplies I almost have to have the page completely assembled before I know what it will look like. And by then, I may as well finish it. I used to have this problem as well. Now, I'm ok kitting things up, but by the time I get around to using the kit, I can't remember what it was I wanted to do with those pages. I hope everyone is having a great Sunday!

Thanks everyone - I'll try and catch up on commenting after the crop is over - I set myself a silly goal of seeing if I could catch up all 29 February challenges(29-4-29) before the deadline tonight not thinking I could do it and now I'm close so...
Looks like the open house went well so hopefully we'll get offers soon. I would love to see the house go to a year-round resident but it's likely to become a summer home or a rental.

I used to have this problem as well. Now, I'm ok kitting things up, but by the time I get around to using the kit, I can't remember what it was I wanted to do with those pages. This is me too with paper pages. I started adding in sketches and the journaling too as I have some that have been sitting around for more than 2 years now. I set myself a silly goal of seeing if I could catch up all 29 February challenges(29-4-29) before the deadline tonight not thinking I could do it and now I'm close so... Go, Linda!! That's awesome! Also, I hope you get an offer soon. Well, I didn't make it to the laundry. I decided it was a beautiful day for a drive and drove home. I missed my computer, and my family too. Usually I only get 1 or 2 full days which is I had already. So the thought of another one without them was a bit daunting. Plus this gives me a day or 1.5 days to veg at home before I really have to start attacking the long chore list since I've told them I'm still on vacay. I've visited with everyone and gotten lots of doggie love and a bit of kitty love so I'm going to go play on my computer a bit. I downloaded some kits this weekend for some food pages and some more for my affirmation styled book. I want to get the zip files extracted and in usable order.

Glad you are home safe, LisaDV. And that you are taking some veg time there before diving into your next project. It was good seeing your pages this weekend in the Gallery. If anyone can do 29 challenges in 8 days, YOU can, Linda! nylene was finished by the last day of February I think. Last I talked to justjac yesterday, she was only one or two challenges from completing as well. Can't believe that so many POKEY PEAS are meeting that challenge!!! So sweet to hear how much Rudy enjoys spending time with you, joyfulnana. Dd has been sending photos and videos of her little guy practicing with great seriousness to go into NET next Saturday for the first time when they play an out of town hockey game. I think he wore the pads all day: even to watch a movie--The Mighty Ducks, of course! PS hope your mojo comes out from hiding after you have had some rest. Have a great week, everyone!

kellyr21 - hopefully you adjust to the new glasses well - I have progressives which are basically trifocals (distance, computer, reading) and they work well for reading and the computer but not awesome for distance. nylene - love your pages - you always have the perfect paper piecings and Swayeze is simply darling! I am enjoying scrapping again although it took a few pages to really get back in my groove. LisaDV - a 13" screen would be hard - I'm spoiled with two monitors for my desktop - DH's work sells them cheap when they replace them with new ones. Good luck finding a living room set - lawn chairs get uncomfortable after a while. Glad that you're home safe and sound. joyfulnana - I hope you found your mojo. Sounds like you had fun with Rudy. Thanks for the hugs and the scrapping encouragement. I've missed scrapping. grammadee - I finished the challenges. Now to figure out my next 'challenge' - I think I need to go back and check out the Sketchy Saturdays I've missed.

I think he wore the pads all day: even to watch a movie--The Mighty Ducks, of course! I love this! The kids are so much fun! While the kids were at Disney, and getting ready for a swim at the hotel, Rudy had his swim gear on - he said "when people see me they are going to say "Is that the REAL Hulk?!" he's so silly lol I'm adding pic so everyone can see his "hulkness lol I really need to check out the crop thread! LisaDV I'm glad you are home and getting settled in with your family. I have a long list of chores that I keep ignoring lol. Have fun shopping for new furniture! Yay!

I barely got anything unzipped yesterday and definitely no creating. DH worked from home, so every time he had a moment, he needed my attention. I was feeling poorly and had to make myself some chicken and rice soup. DS and DD both needed my attention as well. Of course, I don't mind at all (since I just had some free time), it's nice to be needed and loved. I think I was in bed by 8pm. Feeling better today. I will slowly start ramping up to attacking that to do list, but I may have to add normal house chores to it. That way when I'm working on normal chores, and I will still get to check them off and feel like I'm accomplishing something.

joyfulnana, he looks like a Hulk and Batman put together. He is such a cute little guy. Thanks for sharing him. LisaDV, I hope you continue to feel better each day. Are you seeing any healing in your DH. He has had a long haul. It's nice that he can work from home, but I know that it upsets your routine. Sending healing wishes and hugs for the whole family. Linda, you have set a huge goal, but I think you will accomplish it. That's a lot of pages in a short amount of time. grammadee, have you recuperated from 20-4-29 + Mega Crop? I don't know how you accomplish all you do. kellyr21, I want to see your new glasses! I was ready to take a break from scrapping and just do some organizing, but last night I whipped up a new layout. I should never clear my table. It makes me want to scrap, scrap, scrap!

nylene, having a nice clean surface is definitely a catalyst for me to create something. Good thing I rarely have that. Also if I've been creative regularly, it helps keep those juices flowing. And YOU have definitely been creative lately with 29-4-29 and the crop. Yay you! DH is doing better. He is not coughing nearly as much, and it's super weak when he does. He's back to the office today. We've set him up an area in the bedroom (our bedroom could fit 2 king size beds with room to spare. He's very happy with his new set up and he's out of my dining area. That upset my routine greatly. Having him in the bedroom working and just popping out when he needs to stretch or have a break is not upsetting at all. DD is actually up doing yoga. (Happy Dance!)

Happy Wednesday all!!! I hope you are all having a good day! I am sluggish this week but that is ok. Our weekend was busy. We went to this women's day event in a neighboring city. It was sort of a dud but it was nice to see what they were doing anyway. Then, I went to M's for a wreath making class. I enjoyed it and still have to finish it. They have some free classes but you just pay for supplies. My wreath was $3.00 on sale with coupon and they provided the flowers. Neat! I took my glasses back to the dr for more updates. So in two weeks they should be back. I hope they are right. That progressive lens thing is gonna take a minute to adjust to. The dr is so accommodating and said if they don't work he will replace at no extra charge. Yeah nylene, I can't wait to see them, too. LOL! joyfulnana- I giggled about what you said about your glasses. Yeah, I was putting mine on my head too. I need them for distance but my up close vision is ok but could use some help. I want to get contacts this year and not have to be bothered with glasses when I don't want. Thanks for the compliment on my new avatar! That is one of my many car selfies. LOL! LisaDV- So glad your dh is feeling better! Hopefully working from home has been giving him much needed rest. My dh went back to the dr yesterday and he does have a bronchitis situation. He got a stronger antibiotic. Today, he is little better but hopefully by the weekend he will be much better. Prayers up! I hope you are feeling better, too. All these regular bugs this year have been hard to shake! Geez! nylene- I finally cleared my craft area. Since my surgery, we rearranged our living room for the guest nurses I had. After that, we never put things back. It just felt like too much work! LOL! Then the other night, I just started grabbing things and moving the table and got it back to normal. I guess I was really ready. Now let the creative juices flow...... grammadee- Hope you are having a good week so far. linda- Hang in there, too! Take care ladies and I will check to see all the post I missed here.

Good Thursday morning, Pokeys! joyfulnana, I LOVE the photo of the HULK! Of course he wondered if he would be mistaken for the real one. Don't you love their imaginations? How is your dh today, LisaDV? Is he still working from home? Or did he go back into the office? I find it difficult to scrapbook when dh is here all day. Just when the mojo is flowing and I am ready to roll with an idea, he has a question or needs help with something and the flow is interrupted. He also tends to make a lot of NOISE... He talks loudly on the phone, has the radio on all day and then listens to news, commentary, and technical instructions on his ipad while the country music plays on... and on... But today and tomorrow he is away at an agricultural conference, so the house is quiet. So far, I have five quick pages completed. To be honest, these are the easiest ones, bc they're pretty simple and as I was cleaning the last couple of days I was collecting what I needed to complete them. None the less, something to check of my scrappy to do list. Glad to hear your ideas are flowing again, kellyr21. And that your crafting area is now set up the way you like it. I, too, want to see a photo of you with your new glasses. Bifocals are a little difficult to adjust to, but once you learn it once, you don't even notice the shift in focus with any new prescriptions. One piece of advice: do NOT look DOWN when walking. Look ahead to where you are going. If you look down, the sidewalk will seem to jump up about a foot and you will be kind of thrown off balance. Haven't checked out your blog posts yet, but plan to do that later today. Hoping everyone else is happy and healthy and getting through the week. Diving back in to mess up all the space I created over the last couple of days!

kellyr21, I just checked out your blog posts. You have found such cute shoes! Thanks for posting and giving us a link. I have to agree with grammadee. After a few days you won't notice the gradual change of focus. Our eyes are marvelous organs. The only time I have trouble is when I lie down and try to watch TV. I do better to just take them off to watch. I love your new avatar photo. You are so pretty. grammadee, I can't believe how you just keep scrapping and scrapping and scrapping. You are the Energizer Bunny! I hope all the sick family members are doing better today.

Hi Pokeys! I am living up to the name this month. I've done 1 page. This Covid thing - I feel like we're standing on top of a cliff here, about to fall off. Nobody knows what the fall, or the bottom, look like. LisaDV, you must be worried about DH getting it, just getting over this last thing!

Working in the health sector, kitbop, must amp up the awareness of the pandemic even more than in the general public, and there is lots of scary news out there. Stay safe! Dd works for a PCN in Alberta, and the management is considering changing everyone's roles. She may need to do some hours in a testing clinic in the small town she lives in. Meanwhile her little guy's school and sporting activities are being closed down, so she is wondering what she will be doing with a hyperactive 7 year old... His dad had warned her that he may be delayed coming home from overseas military service. There was a scare that a visitor to their base may have the illness, but thankfully that visitor has since tested negative for COVID-19. So dad should be home to help by the end of next week. Checked out your blog, kellyr21 and left some love there. My dedicated scrapping time had a bit of a hitch. I managed to complete a bunch of pages yesterday, but by evening, I knew my gut was not happy. Nausea and pain. Spent a restless night with pain and vomiting. Went into outpatients this morning and spent the morning there sleeping off the morphine/gravol shot they gave me. Managed to drink some water. Came home and slept some more. Hoping I can get this under control with clear fluids, but not feeling really well now. Off to bed again soon... Have a wonderful weekend, Pokeys...

I hope you post a photo of your wreath, kellyr21. I have been in awe of your other wreaths. I hope the new updates help and you can adjust quickly, but how fantastic of a dr is that to replace at no charge if they don’t work. I hope this round of antibiotics does the trick for your DH and some rest over the weekend. Hopefully it will knock it completely out for him. Prayers for him and you. I’ll try to get over to your blog today or tomorrow. Love your new avatar. grammadee, glad you got some scrappy time before the gut issues kicked in. You poor thing! I so wish I could wave a magic wand and make it all better. I hope you are feeling better today. You hit the nail on the head, kitbop. DH has been super worried about DD. I, on the other hand, am super worried about him. A little about DS because of his small nasal passages it makes colds super hard for him breathing wise. (the things you learn with 3-D xrays for braces.) Is your hospital prepared? You don’t have a case yet, do you? Please stay safe. I went out shopping yesterday to stock up on fresh fruits and vegetables. DH’s working from home from now on. I would have to run out for water and milk over the next week, but I was feeling so relieved about my little family unit. DH & I were just discussing how we’re thankful my brother didn’t get a job yet. How we don’t want him to now until this first wave is really over. Then I go start dinner and get a voicemail for db about a job. I couldn’t sleep last night and had nightmares when I did. Off to make lunch and then we’re going to look for our Berkey water filter system in the back garage. I would have to order new filters, but it would mean not running to town for water every week. I have just over 7 days right now. Hope everyone is staying safe and healthy. grammadee and kellyr21’s DH, I hope recovery is quick.

LisaDV , I hope all of your family stays far from Covid virus. It sounds like you are prepared, but having any kind of underlying health issue adds another layer to the need to be prepared. Your family is in my prayers. grammadee , they need to do something for you. I know about that pain and the vomiting and it is awful. I hope they make a decision that you feel ok about. It would be nice to have it gone forever. Hugs and prayers for you and the people making decisions. kitbop , I hope you don't end up with Covid patients. My nurse friend made the same comment that she feels she's standing on the edge of a cliff. Most of our neighbors are older than we are and I worry about them. Our kids are worried about us. They called to remind us that we are in that "older" category! LOL It will be kind of nice to be homebodies. Stay safe! Everything around here is closed down. No Church services, meetings, Recovery meetings, school, sports events, etc. The movie theater was open today and we really wanted to see Jon's latest Pixar movie Onward. They only sell so many seats and it's open seating so you don't need to be close to any other people unless you want to. We were far from other people and we really enjoyed it. We went to get fresh veggies and milk early this morning and shelves were empty. I was getting low on eggs but was able to find some. No milk in town until Monday, but we still have some. It will seem strange not to go to Recovery meetings 3 nights a week for the next few weeks. I'm not sure we will be able to keep the days straight without our usual routine! LOL DH will still go to work since it's easy to stay 6 ft apart on the Golf Course and people will want to golf. I really should tackle projects around the house, but I think I will spend some time scrapping too. Our schools have all set up online ways to teach. The schools will remain open and the teachers will be there, but children will only come in shifts, on and off during the week. They will just pick up packets and take them home to work. They can get help from the teacher if needed. It's being called a "soft closure". It will be interesting to see how it works. I'm just glad I'm no longer teaching! These are interesting times! Best wishes for all of our Pokey Peas and Refugee Peas in general. I hope we can all avoid the virus.

Hello Pokies. Interesting times indeed nylene - praying all of our Pokey peas and their loved ones stay healthy. Hope you're feeling better grammadee DD19 was on Spring break this week and will be doing university online from home for at least the next two weeks. DD13 is on Spring break this coming week and the state just extended it to a second week. Online schooling would be challenging in our school district because we don't have universal internet coverage in our area AND we're a poor district so not everyone who does have internet coverage can afford internet. I suspect DH may be working from home next week - he has to go in Monday though as no decision has been made yet. I did groceries on Friday and other than a dentist appt on Tuesday for me and DD13, we're hunkering down inside and keeping our distance in hopes of flattening the curve. Our county doesn't have any confirmed cases yet but I have no doubt that there are people here with it already. And they didn't cancel this weekend's rodeo. People here are buying all the things while brushing it all off as unwarranted panic. Scrapbooking tonight so here are 4 layouts so I can claim my Pokey points

Great to see YOU on some of those pages, Linda. Love the kitty banner--and the kitties on the first one. Great use of banners on the second, too: I like the camera anchoring them. Your layering is always well done, but I especially like how you used the red in the Cuddles page. And good to see you scrapping the here & now on the Skateboard kid LO. Bet that felt good. Hope you can continue to scrap when you have a houseful of people working and studying from home. So glad you got to see the Onward movie, nylene. That is one I would like to see. Everything around here is beginning to slow down as well. They have shut down hockey playoffs and other "normal" events for this time of year. Dgs who was so excited to be playing net this week for his hockey team this weekend will not get that chance as their games have been cancelled. Dh is bemoaning the loss of sports on TV. He was all ready to watch his favourite curling team compete for Canada in the Women's World Curling this next week, but that has been cancelled as has the NHL. As far as we know my dsil will be returning from Latvia on schedule next weekend. I think the plan is still that he will be bringing dgs to the farm for a few days, but plans seem to be always day-by-day. what type of job offer did your brother get, LisaDV? Does he have a drivers' licence or a vehicle for him to go out to an interview or to go to work if he gets the job? I can understand your concern about someone from the household having regular contact with the public when it is possible to simply cocoon until it is over. I am feeling a bit better today. Slept really well last night. Was able to eat a bit. Took it pretty easy. Tonight I finished a two page LO that has been lying on my counter since Thursday evening. Hoping to get back into scrapping a bit tomorrow. justjac will you be having an extended spring break this year? Hoping everyone else is doing okay...

grammadee - thank you. They are all actually March 2020 pictures. I'm so far behind I figured I would start here and work backwards for a bit. Hoping to continue scrapping while we practice social distancing. Hopefully your SIL makes it home okay - I know travel is being restricted for US military. Glad that you're on the mend.

Hello Pokeys! My job. ugh. So busy again this past week! I don't understand it. They called all our salesmen home though for at least 2 weeks, but I did see that some RV dealers are still having their RV shows - advertising they have hand sanitizer for everyone. I think that's a terrible idea and Americans are going to have a very hard time social distancing. I spent the weekend getting stocked up and except for fresh veggies I'm good for a few weeks. I'm going to see how long I can go without getting out. I have a Dr. appt Thursday which I'm still deciding if I want to cancel. And my niece has a bridal shower the end of the month, I'm not sure about that either. It did finally get through to my mom that she needs to stay home, so she's skipping the shower and I'm ok with it! I feel like I've been chicken little but I've been following this virus pretty closely and trying to warn people. Our big events are cancelled and even though groups of 1000+ have been cancelled, there were lines out the door at the bars downtown. LisaDV - that was my first thought about your DH when I saw he is still trying to get over this thing he's had all winter. I'm so glad for you that he's working from home. And that you got him out of your way lol. kitbop, stay safe! I can't even imagine what this is going to be like for health care workers and grocery store workers and people that just plain have to work so the rest of us can stay home. I'll raise you that one page, with the zero pages I've finished this month lol. Linda, it's so good to see you on your pages! grammadee I'm glad you are feeling better. Are they going to take your GB out any time soon? nylene the change to routines is going to take a bit isn't it? But I'm really looking forward to being forced to cocoon even more than I do already! kellyr21 and grammadee you have me thinking maybe I should try using that dang bifocal. There is going to come a day when I really need. I do need it for tiny print lol.

joyfulnana - I'm with you -stay home people! We have a Tuesday dentist appt and I'm debating - it's already been rescheduled from January (when I was out of state) and from November (ditto) so I kind of hate to reschedule again. Personally I would send a gift and regrets to a baby shower.

Happy MONDAY, Pokeys...
Seems like everything we know and expect is in flux these days. Checked in with my family yesterday. My oldest ds has lost his job in the oil sector, but has a private business he can operate on line. He is working out of his mil's empty condo. His dd who had earned an amazing opportunity to compete in an international swimming competition this month is Spain is, of course, staying home. His ds, who had been hoping to play in a second Provincial hockey tournament which may have led to Junior Hockey training camps this summer, has had his season ended with a decision by Hockey Alberta to cancel all year end tournaments. Their family's planned trip to Phoenix for Easter with his mil & family has been cancelled.
My dsil is on a plane home from Latvia. The person they had suspected of having the virus tested negative, but dsil is congested so he will be home with his family for 14 days. Meanwhile, schools in the province are closed indefinitely. Dd has a plan to keep herself (with a delicate imune system) isolated within their home from husband and son. Unrealistic to keep the boy away from his dad, and the boy has already had a possible exposure from school, so they will be hanging out together for 14 days. She has been given permission to stay home with full pay for the 14 day isolation, with a reassessment at the end of the two weeks. If all are okay, dsil will bring the little guy here as planned--just a week later.
Another ds and family had planned a trip to Hawaii for this month. They have now decided to cancel their trip. His fil has a degenerative illness, and the family had planned this as a kind of last hurrah for him when he could still walk outside and maybe golf. He has always dreamed of a trip to Hawaii. Not sure if it will ever happen for him now. Not sure of the progress of the disease. They are hoping to reschedule for November.
Another ds is at a worksite two provinces away from home. Right now, they are working with half the construction crew on site, the other half being at home so that there is no congregation of people at work. He is in the office full days, and has no idea what will happen when shift change is scheduled. (He works 20 days in and 8 days out, but has no idea if his replacement will be arriving back at site on schedule.) Meanwhile schools have been shut down indefinitely in his home province. His oldest dd, who is scheduled to graduate this June and has final exams to write to earn a spot in post secondary in the fall, is freaking out more about the fact that her grad may be cancelled. (Have to admit that makes me sad, too, as we have airline tickets to go out there for her grad).
And just when we think we know what to expect and change our plans, something else seems to change, and we are all in flux again. The good news is that NO ONE IN THE FAMILY HAS BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH THE VIRUS, and although not everyone is feeling completely at the top of their game, no one is at this time seriously ill.
Sending (((((HUGS))))) to all of you while you cope with everything that is going on right now.

These are indeed interesting times, nylene . If I went golfing, I could stay miles apart from others. The one time I went, my ball only went 20-50 ft each time. Linda , wonderful pages. I love the variety of things you documented here. The kitties just make me smile. I definitely have a soft spot for everyday moments like stopping for lunch and that big camera is awesome. The color combo for skateboarding is super striking. But the sweetness of the cuddles page pulls at my heartstrings. grammadee , I’m glad you are feeling better. Hopefully that can stay the case for a long while. So glad that dsil is making his way home. I hope that it is nothing more than a cold and that your dd can avoid them. Also, I must share. They took the 14 days as an average. You can still get the virus up to 28 days after exposure. Just so your dd is aware. I’m sorry your grands all have to miss such important things to them.
DB was being approached about a shipping clerk position. He doesn’t have a driver’s license. To get one, he needs 30 hours of supervised driving. But DH doesn’t even want him going in and out of our house since we’re on the same ventilation system. Unfortunately, DB had to turn down the opportunity for further interviewing. I felt/feel bad but don’t want to the added risk to my family. Who would have thought this is where we’re at right now?!
You have some fabulous hockey pages there. My favorite is the last one, Practice is boring. The colors are very dramatic and title makes me chuckle. joyfulnana , I can’t believe people who aren’t taking this seriously. China shut down multiple regions including factories and built extra hospitals. For China to take those type of steps, you know somethings is wrong. My FIL went to a rodeo over the weekend, DH & dbil were worried and upset. DBIL found out and told DH. If they weren’t in fort Myers which is some distance from Linda , I would have thought they were at the one there. It seems that so many either just don’t care or don’t understand. Our life is really “normal”. We’re doing the same things, just not running off to the store because I decided we’d have x but I don’t have y. Yesterday I forgot to take out the pork loin and decided last moment we’d have pesto. I did have a couple packages of basil to use up. No bakery bread though, just sliced normal bread. I found a quick recipe for Italian bread and made that. So much better than store bought, but I would have run to the store normally. Just knowing life is different out there, makes us stressed. DD says she’s handling it fine but hasn’t been out of bed in 3 days. She doesn’t even realize when things stress her out. I don’t really want to cancel her therapy appointment next week but I’ll re-evaluate next week. If they could do a facetime or skype or something like that it would be perfect.
I’ve been extremely laxed on my meal prep over the last few months with quick and easy winning out, which tends to mean not as much fresh fruit and vegetables in our meals. I’ve started to again be more purposeful there. Tonight’s side to the pork loin will also serve as my part of the recipe challenge kellyr21 started. I’m going to try a roasted beet salad. We love beets and roasted beets is a favorite side dish and one of my favorite salads has raw beet and a buttermilk-crème fraiche dressing, so we'll see if this recipe joins the family rotation. For those who are scrapping their hearts out, I admire you. I must get a sketch done for this Saturday, and my mojo has left me completely.
Prayers and positive thoughts for all the pokeys and all the peas.

Linda, it's so nice to see you in some of your layouts. I love the clean lines and banners you use in scrapping. Those really speak to me. I love the embellishments you use. Just enough to let your photos take center stage. Beautiful work, my friend. grammadee, I am glad your DSIL will be coming home soon and that you may get some time with your grandson. My DSIL has parents serving a Mission in the Philippines and they were informed today that they have 72 hours to leave the country before travel is permanently closed. I hope they can get out. At first they were advised to "ride it out" and stay isolated. Now they have to hurry to leave. It sounds like each of your children are making the best of the pandemic. I will catch your layouts in the gallery. joyfulnana, I can't believe they are still holding RV shows. I know that's how they make their money, but that seems dangerous. I guess there are people who would prefer to be in their RVs seeing the country than stuck in their homes. I hope this gives you some time to enjoy scrapping. LisaDV, I worry about your little family through all of this. I hope you can be completely isolated and miss all the germs. These are such strange times. kellyr21, you and Ron need to take good care of yourselves. I hope that Ron is able to work from home. I'm sure his immune system is compromised after his lo-o-ng bout with the flu. Please keep in touch. Anj let me know that their county has been ordered to "shelter in place" for 3 weeks. Only necessary grocery, pharmacy, etc shopping and only take out food. The kids are all doing online school but she says things feel out of kilter. That's kind of how we feel. The days go by and I have to stop to think of what day it is. They all seem like Saturdays. We need to go put up a sign on the door of our Recovery meeting building and get gas today, otherwise we will be home. I think it's the psychological aspect that gets me. It just feels weird. I think of something I need and remind myself I don't want to go out to get something unimportant. We made the decision to cancel Card Club tomorrow. I was looking forward to seeing all the girls, but it's not a smart thing to do. We have 2 women older than I. My kids tell me "you olders really need to be careful!" I will miss the monthly interaction. I hope my mojo kicks in and I can either scrap or organize in this room. I need to use this time wisely. I'm glad to hear from each of you Pokeys and know that you are OK. Please keep in touch!

So DD19 is home with online classes for the rest of the semester. DD13 is home at least until April 15 with remote learning starting March 30th -no word yet on what that'll entail. I'm directing DD13's day a bit more now - found some Girl Scout badge work for her to do, assigned a minimum amount of reading time, and asked her to make a drawing daily that I can email to my sister/BIL (they run a nursing home) to share with their residents. She needs some structure. I struggled yesterday - couldn't settle to anything, not even scrapping. But I'm hoping to spend less time reading news and more time doing stuff today. I did end up cancelling the dentist visits. nylene - good idea to cancel card club - can you meet virtually? LisaDV - I need to look and see if I can find gluten free baking flour on amazon - DD would love it if I made bread again. I'm sorry about your DB's job opportunity. grammadee - sorry for all the changes of plans. Glad to see you scrapping. ((((Hugs))) and prayers to all our Pokies!
