Her high flatulent friends make total fun of her.. (in a nice way) So her friends fart a lot? I know that's probably an auto-correct , but it's one of the funniest ones I've seen in a while! Hahaha! Best auto-correct ever!
I'm hoping they're highfalutin.

I think I might need more disinfecting wipes. I was down to my last 2 canisters at the end of January (3 family members all sick in January so I was using them a lot). But now, I've taken to continually wiping all the surfaces and my phone when I get back from an outing so I'm going through more. I bought 2 packs in February and had to open one to put out a few out already. Thought I should be more, went to Sam's online to put them in my cart. Nope, all of them are out of stock. I'll be searching for more wipes and lysol spray over the course of the next month.

biocides.americanchemistry.com/List-of-Products-That-Help-Stop-Spread-of-Novel-Coronavirus.htmlGo to this address, download or open the list, look under "dilutable products". It's page 5 of the document. Simple Green D Pro 5. It has to be the D Pro 5 type for this virus. And you have to use the same instructions as for Norovirus. Not just spray and wipe, spray sit and wipe. The label says how long. Sam's Club carried it, that's where I had bought mine, but I'm sure they're sold out now. I saw it online though when I searched just now. I had bought it to clean an animal cage I leant out to house a litter of sick feral kittens in, and saw it on a list of cleansers known to kill viruses similar to Covid 19. And checked the manufacturer's website and yes, it is effective against similar viruses and is being marketed for use against it now. I can't find any info that it's effective against Covid 19....

I just returned from my local Costco. I was there last Sunday doing my usual shopping and it was a ghost town - very unusual for a Sunday. I arrived this morning about 10:00 and the parking lot was packed!
I went mainly to get some more canned fruit and laundry detergent. There is still no toilet paper or hand sanitizer, but lots of paper towels, tissue, and water. There were employees all over the back helping people and keeping order. I only saw three more packages of Clorox wipes and one of the employees was handing those out.
What surprised me was the number of senior citizens, who don’t usually frequent our Costco in large numbers. I guess they are starting to get worried as well, but some of them seemed truly bewildered by the amount of stuff gone, like toilet paper.

I Oh, and I saw one woman at the checkout who had at least 15 bottles of wine in her cart... clearly she has her priorities straight! That might keep her thru a 2 week quarantine - hopefully

Went to Target today. They were completely out of the flat packages of Lysol/Clorox wipes, and were low on the ones in the containers and there were no travel hand sanitizers. They had plenty of TP and paper towels.
B&BW was completely out of the travel hand sanitizers, but had plenty of soaps.

I was close to a B&BW today and have two gym friends traveling next week so I made the stop to see if I could get some sanitizer for them. They had just opened a box, all Beautiful Day scent, and limiting customers to 10. I bought 10 and will give them to my friends since they need them more than I do right now. I've already given them some of my Purell wipes stash (a normal staple for me).

I saw those flat packs of wipes at The Dollar Store when we were *wait for it* buying some items for our trip to Las Vegas. I don’t remember which ones they were. It was crazy stupid expensive considering how few you get per pack, but I bought them to refill a thin baby wipes case I have. Are all DT set up the same? If so, far left wall about 1/2 to 2/3 back.

My stepmom just called to complain that her annual mah jong tournament in Las Vegas has been canceled. She was surprised that they’re getting all their money back, though. I told her the hotel doesn’t want to be responsible for killing off 400 elderly Jewish great-grandmas. She totally does not see the big deal, btw. 84 years old and she thinks she’s invulnerable. Like a damn teenager.

Like a damn teenager.I am actually hearing about a lot of this and it makes me slightly stabby. My mom was just talking about how the death rates are not as bad as “everyone” is making them out to be. I guess that depends on who you listen to. And I wanna (nicely) shout “Yeah, except for you woman! You’re over 70, lifelong 2 pack a day smoker, diabetes, heart issues, lung issues PLEASE just listen to me and take reasonable precautions!” To be fair she really is trying, but so much of her info is wrong. For example, she thinks she’s totally in the clear and someone is definitely okay if it’s been over 4 days since exposure. And if she wears a mask she’ll be fine. Bless her resourceful heart she did find some masks with the correct rating, and proceeded to buy them for half the world, but they’re washable?!? I haven’t seen them so we’ll see, maybe they’re legit. I just wanna give her a virtual hug and throttle her at the same time. I can do that, right? ...annnd apparently I needed to vent as I just finished talking with her, thanks for “listening.” eta: To be clear our Las Vegas trip was at Christmas.

I am also dealing with my own mother who will be 91 next month and is also apparently invulnerable.

I went to Meijer tonight (it's a big supermarket similar to WalMart) and there was no toilet paper, no Clorox or Lysol wipes, no hand sanitizer, and no anti-bacterial soap. I talked to my friend tonight and she said the Meijer across town was also out of that stuff. I could kick myself for not buying toilet paper earlier, tomorrow going to try some different stores to find some.

Might also want to consider asking your store when your best bet would be to find some. Our local store is still getting hand sanitizer in, but it doesn’t seem like it because it is gone in the morning after they unpack it.
