What else can you recommend that has the Heartland-type values, lol. I really dislike the gratuitous sex and nudity in so many of the streaming programs. *GAG* (more lol) Heartland is the most wholesome show we've found and love it for those reasons. When I find something else, I'll let you know. Oh, there is an old show called Everwood with Treat Williams and young Chris Platt and Emily Van Camp. Fabulous show but I don't know if it's streaming anywhere.

It's been a few years since I watched it but I don't remember any nudity or gratuitous sex in 800 Words. There was only three seasons though which was disappointing since I quite enjoyed it.

Dopesick on Hulu, about the SOB Sackler family, Purdue Pharma, the scummy FDA, and the lying that went around Oxycontin. It is so good but so hard to watch., I have to take a break at least twice per episode to regain my composure.

Sex Education is so good! I just started watching it recently and binged all of seasons 1 & 2 before they released season 3. It's so so well done, funny, a ton of heart, and I adore how they normalize so much about sexuality and bodies. This is possibly my favorite show of all time--I agree with everything you said. I haven't even started watching the 3rd season yet. I'm waiting until I have less on my plate, so I can savor it.

I just started watching a British comedy drama called 'This Way Up' starring one of my girl crushes, Aisling Bea. Have any UK Peas seen it? It is from 2019 so I'm a bit late to the party. I've only watched the first two episodes and I am really enjoying it, mainly because I bloody LOVE Aisling! ETA: According to Wikipedia, it's on Hulu in the US. One of the later episodes has one of the funniest scenes I've ever seen.

It is so good but so hard to watch., I have to take a break at least twice per episode to regain my composure. It’s a really good show. I didn’t realize it was still ongoing I thought all episodes had dropped. I will watch when the rest are released. I had some dental issues and a few surgeries the last couple of years snd can’t believe how freely they prescribed opioids. Well the dentist actually multiple over the last 7 years were very free the surgeons not as much. Watching this is really eye opening. Actually I just remembered that another dr or two prescribed them for rib pain over the years to. Seeing people on this getting addicted is scary as heck. Finally watched 11.22.63 on Hulu it was excellent- it’s older but really good and worth a watch. We got Disney+ and started the Mandalorian and we are really liking it. I was distracted when we started but i rewatched the first few episodes snd then was hooked. I am looking forward to watching the second season soon.

It’s been a while since I’ve seen it, but I recall the sisters and their mum have dinner at someone's house (in-laws?) and the sisters perform.

We went to the movie theater for the first time in a LONG time yesterday. We saw No Time to Die ~ the latest James Bond flick. I won't spoil it for those who haven't seen it yet.

We finished our Midsomer Murders marathon, including the newest ones, and have settled on Inspector Morse for the next while. And then Inspector Lewis and then we'll have Endeavour to watch so our couple viewing is set for a few months, lol.

I watched the documentary Colonia Dignidad on Netflix. I had no idea this cult existed and the leader got away with terrible crimes for over 30 years. I recommend it, but it's one of those where you need to read subtitles in some parts. Not one you kind of half watch while doing something distracting.

We watched Only Murders in Our Building with Steve Martin and Martin Short on Hulu. Liked it a lot.
We also watched the violent Squid Game on Netflix (Korean series, dubbed in English). The first episode was a big turn off with all the violence, but we kept watching because we'd heard so much about it and have decided we mostly liked it, despite the violence. This is NOT a show for everyone, that's for sure.
I watched season 3 of Call the Midwives (way different than Squid Game, LOL) and always enjoy it. It's like a cozy blanket and cup of hot chocolate on a cold fall day.
My daughter keeps telling me to watch You. I haven't watched it yet.

There is a new show called Ghosts on CBS that's getting good reviews. I don't have cable but I do have HBO and just discovered the original British show it's based on. Three seasons of funny if you want to check it out.

Dexter fans! The new season starts tomorrow on Showtime!! I'm ready - I had to sign up to a new streaming service - one that isn't compatible with my Samsung TV (found that out after I tried to find the app for 15 mins) then worked out I could put it on my Firestick. Glad I did all the fiddling around yesterday so I can just watch it when it comes on. They've been playing the ads for it quite a lot and it seems the guesses were right about Dexter's son being involved. I'm looking forward to it - I hope it's good!

Just finished a very good movie from 2008. If you haven’t seen it, it’s worth a view.
FLASH OF GENIUS 4 Stars
The story of the man who invented the intermittent windshield wipers and how Ford & Chrysler tried to rip him off.

I just finished binge watching Squid Games on Netflix. It's very violent, but the psychology makes a good storyline. I'm not sure if I recommend it or if it's just bizarre, but either way I certainly could not pull myself away from it.

I am watching Dexter on Crave (Canadian and it is from Showtime). I don’t love it but it is working for me now. I cannot wait to start the new season.

We watched Red Notice last night on Netflix. It was a typical Ryan Reynolds/Dwayne Johnson flick and it gave us a few good laughs. Pretty sure there will be a sequel.

Ryan Reynolds is so incredibly annoying but I love The Rock. I'm devastated - Ryan Reynolds is a Canadian treasure. I do enjoy both of them best in small doses - the movie moved quick enough that it was fine.

I want him to just shut up and he won't. Fucking. Shut. Up. Ever!!! I hated Deadpool! I hate him in everything where he's allowed to try comedy. As a serious actor I don't mind him so much.
