cadoodlebug , I think the actress who plays Maya on Ozark is the same actress from last season. So, I binged the entire season. It's very intense, but good. I can't wait for the final season. I think it drops in May.
**GypsyGirl**, I'm old, but my inner child rules the place when I must find out what happens. Dh and I are watching Cobra Kai. It's much funnier this season. I watched Maid a while back. I thought it was really good, but I did lots of sighing, because you really live the ups and downs of the main character.

I highly recommend As We See It on amazon prime. It is listed as a comedy/drama (it's not a documentary) and was created by the showrunner of Parenthood and Friday Night Lights. It follows the lives of three adults in their mid-20s who are on the autism spectrum. They share an apartment and are assisted by an aide/therapist/life coach. The three lead actors are on the autism spectrum in real life and the show has so much heart! It shows their struggles and triumphs with jobs, their social lives, and relationships with their families. (8 half-hour episodes in season 1.)

I’m on episode 3 and I’m really enjoying it It’s very charming

I can’t believe I somehow managed to miss hearing about Ladies in Black (2018, Netflix).
In the summer of 1959, Lisa, a shy schoolgirl, takes a job in Sydney's prestigious department store Goode's. There, her life is changed forever when she meets the "ladies in black."
This sweet little movie had DH and I hooked from beginning to end and did not disappoint.👍👍
Also, for fans of Packed to the Rafters and/or 800 words, or possibly even To the Manor Born, there’s a new little six-part dramedy set and filmed in NZ’s Central Otago which is worth keeping your eyes out for a chance to watch.
Under the Vines, stars Rebecca Gibney (Winter, Packed to the Rafters) and Charles Edwards (The Crown) as two city slickers who inherit a failing vineyard in rural New Zealand.. the only problems are that neither of them has ever done a hard day’s work - and they despise one another.
It’s just started airing on live tv (and TVNZ On Demand) here in NZ but, if the first episode is anything to go by, I’m thinking there’s a reasonable chance it’ll get picked up for a wider audience.

I just started watching Offspring - I know I'm really late to the party and this show was mentioned in this thread way back when, but I had to mention it again. I'm loving this show, I'm only 6 episodes in and I'm excited that I have so many more to watch!!

I really liked Parenthood, haven't watched FNL.

I watched Killer/Dream, a Netflix documentary about Ryan Ferguson. It was recommended on Amazing Race thread (he’s one of the contestant this season). It was very good.

Watched a very good biographical documentary on Netflix recently - My Heroes Were Cowboys. It tells the story of Robin Wiltshire, a noted horse trainer born in Australia, living in Wyoming for many years now. He trains horses for the big screen, as well as commercials (including the Budweiser Clydesdales). Just 23 minutes long, so not a huge time suck.
Happy to see that Season 2 of Sweet Magnolias will be available this Friday (Feb 4).

We just watched this and are amazed that Judge Crane is still a sitting judge. Absolutely disgusting. The show is incredible and we will be cheering for Ryan even harder to win the Race.

We’ve just started series 2 of Rake - loving it, but I don’t think I’ve watched an Aussie series I haven’t enjoyed. I can't believe it's taken me this long, but I have finally got around to watching Rake! My stepmum lent me her DVDs ages ago, but I just never got around to watching them. I'm watching it on Netflix now, and I am LOVING it! I'm currently watching season 3. If anyone wants to watch this, make sure you watch the Australian version, not the American knock-off. We have just started watching the new Jack Reacher series on Prime. Loving it so far. Yes, we watched the first episode on Saturday night. We loved it. Every time I look at the lead actor, it makes me madder than ever that they used that little twerp Tom Cruise in the movies.

I've just finished All of us are Dead, a Korean zombie drama set mostly in a high school. It's so good, very gory and violent though so avoid if that's not your thing.

We absolutely never do that, but I am a huge Lee Child/Jack Reacher fan and we both agreed that we would keep watching. We loved it, too. And yes, thank goodness the lead guy looks like the Reacher in my head from reading the books. I can't believe they ever thought Tom Cruise could make a believable Reacher. What is he, 5'6" ? This show looks like it's going to be a good one!

We just finished The Durrells in Corfu on Prime. I cried at the ending. I can't recommend this wonderful show highly enough to give it justice. It's worth watching just for the Greek scenery!

I apologize for not reading all 50 pages, but I've recently watched Sweet Magnolias. It's a bit of a fluff show like Virgin River but I prefer the former. It's set in the South, but the phrases they use, their accents, doesn't come off as sounding Southern by most of the actors. It's been okay if you need some background noise and you don't want to have to concentrate too much on the plot lines. Kept me interested enough to binge it all very quickly!
I'm going to browse through previous episodes of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel because a new season is on Prime!

Forgot to add, I thought Murderville on Netflix was hilarious!
"Eccentric detective Terry Seattle teams up with clueless celebrity guest stars to investigate a series of murders in this improvisational crime comedy."
My favorite episodes were Sharon Stone and Marshawn Lynch.

I haven’t started the next season of marvelous mrs maisel yet as it looks like they are only adding two episodes a week at least that’s what IMDb says. I’m tempted to rewatch the first three seasons while waiting.

Is anyone watching season 4 of the Sinner? I'm really struggling to get through it, it's like swimming in treacle! Murderville is awful, I actually felt embarrassed for everyone in it.
The Woman in the House was ridiculous, I loved it. I really hope there's another season.

Reacher! My husband and I both liked it a lot. Reacher’s comments and facial expressions were hilarious. I was going to count the times he took his shirt off but I got all flustered and lost count. I don’t think my husband noticed…😜
