Just finished THE STAIRCASE (‘22). 1 Season - 8 Episodes - 65 Min Each 4 Stars for us.
Starring Toni Collette & Colin Firth. Based on the true story of Michael Peterson who was accused of killing his wife. There have been other documentaries/movies which I have not seen. This one definitely held our interest.

I am going to check out Iron Chef...didn't realize it went to Netflix We watched the original Iron Chef way, way back before other competitive cooking shows. I read an interview with Alton Brown about how he was excited to do this because it would harken back to those but, obviously, more. We are 3 episodes in and have mostly enjoyed it. I’m not a fan of the appetizer (or whatever) thing they require shortly into cooking, but otherwise think it’s been well done. We’ll see if it holds up though…

We watched the first episode then got sidetracked with the NBA playoffs and the series Endeavor. We need to rotate Staircase back in.

I started to watch Suits. Anyone else? They have so many seasons Now as I finally have a firestick and installed Kodi on it, following this guide, I can watch so many different episodes and movies. I just wish we would have 48 hours in one day cause 24 is definitely not enough if you work and have a family with a little child.

I started to watch Suits. Anyone else? They have so many season We loved Suits. I remember when Prince Harry started dating Meghan Markle, I tried watching that show because it was one that was always on my list of shows to watch. I got three or four episodes in, and kind of lost interest, but I can’t recall why. I do recall being overwhelmed with how many seasons/episodes there were.

I started to watch Suits. Anyone else? They have so many season I really enjoyed. I considered it a lighter version of The Good Wife which was a favorite show at the time.

Season 2 already approved. we started watching when they had the free episodes. we liked it. but, DH doesn't want to sign up for yet ANOTHER streaming service. now that we got hooked on Billy the Kid too, we may try to binge the rest of the FROM episodes when we sign up for a free 7 day trial or wait until it's a free Epix weekend on directv and watch them on demand.

We are watching Endeavour on Prime and loving it!! We're currently on the 3rd season. We loved Endeavor - watched them all. We haven't watched the Inspector Morse series, about the same guy when he's older. I know it came out first. Has anyone watched that one?

I'm five episodes in on The Bear on Hulu. I like it...although that could be because I'm a Jeremy Allen White fan.

Its a little unusual, to say the least, though. Some of the episodes are straightforward, easy to follow (easy-ish). But you really need to pay close attention to most if not all the episodes. Amazing character study of both Morse and Lewis. That final episode!! The actor who played Lewis, Kevin Whately, was masterful in that episode. My favorite episode in that series is called Happy Family. Jeez, Anna Massey was crazy good.

I watched The Summer I Turned Pretty on Prime this weekend. I really enjoyed it.
I didn't realize until later that it's based on books written by the same author of To All the Boys I Loved Before (most adorable & highly recommended).

JURASSIC WORLD DOMINION (‘22 AmazP/Apple/Hulu). 3 Stars
We thought it was good but loved all the earlier Jurassic films much more.

Rainy afternoon here, so our streamer amused us.
DUAL (‘22 AmazP) Sci-Fi w/Aaron Paul. Felt like it was a great premise but could have been handled better. Too much jumping around without explanation. 3 Stars.
THE BLACK PHONE (‘22 AmazP) Horror w/Ethan Hawke; boy locked in basement. The characters were a little lacking so didn’t hold my attention. Lots of people love this movie; us - not so much. 3 Stars.

DH and I watched The Time Traveler’s Wife. I’ve read the book and seen the original movie and didn’t exactly love this version. I really liked the actor that played Henry, but not the one who played Claire. And I’m going to come across and a total pearl clutcher and I know this scene was in the book, (and I’m peaing from my phone so don’t have the spoiler option), but I just did not need to see the scene of Henry giving _____ a b_______b-twice! Felt a like it was there to push boundaries. Anyway, this was only half the book so I’m sure there will be a part 2.

We are continuing to love Endeavor on Prime. I checked and we only have about 9 or so episodes left. I always get sad when I realize a show we're loving is drawing to a close.
This is one of those shows where you really have to pay attention and it's fun for us to try to figure out who *done* it!!
