I started FUBAR but couldn’t get past 2 episodes. I may go back and try again because I love Fortune Fiemster. I enjoyed this one, but I listened to it while diamond painting so it could also be that I wasn't "watching watching" just listening. I've been rewatching the Orville lately while not so patiently waiting for Strange New Worlds to come back for Season 2.

It was strange how they made me like and not like both Kate and Tully throughout the series yet they just fit together. FUBAR was just terrible, I feel like they made some really bad casting choices and Fortune Fiemster was the worst. So much cringy dialogue *shudder*
We've started and given up on Shitadel Citadel, True Lies and Beef.

Watched Based on a True Story on Peacock and enjoyed it.it reminded me of Only Murders in the Building.
I also watched She Said on prime and liked it. Weinstein really was a disgusting person. It’s hard to believe how long he got away with stuff.

Watched "A Man Called Otto" with Tom Hanks, think it was Netflix. Really good movie but didn't like the ending.

We finished Three Pines last night and we really liked it! However, I just found out there will be no Season Two!

We are knee deep into the final season of Mrs. Maisel. It's really good stuff. There was a scene w/Tony Shaloub that probably stole the season.

Did anyone watch Take Care of Maya?
Just heartbreaking.
It's a bit older, but I also watched Prisoner of the Prophet. Wow!

I could see both sides for sure. The mom made so many alarm bells go off for me, but the end result changed nothing really. Or did it? Hard to say, but the anger of that poor girl and her brother is very real.

Kind of late to the party but I really liked Queen Charlotte, the Bridgerton story. The end had me tearing up 😥

does anyone watch Damson Idris in Snowfall on FX? Six seasons of selling drugs and rival gangs but I love the show! I think FX streams on Amazon.

We love Deadloch on Prime. suck a funny detective show set in a small beach town in Australia.
We have also been watching Season 2 of Joe Pickett on Paramount+.
Silo on Apple+ is starting to bore me.
The new Idris Alba action was just released on Apple+ so that's on my list for tomorrow.
Season 3 of Witcher just came out. I'm mad that Henry Cavill is out and Liam Hemsworth is taking his place for season 4. it doesn't even compare.

Late to the party, but I downloaded Maid on Netflix for a flight and thought it was excellent. Kept me interested during the entire flight

Listen, I like Henry Cavill as Geralt too--but no one can tell me Liam Hemsworth is a poor substitute for anything! He's gorgeous. Geralt may be slightly less buff going forward, but he gets his ass kicked by monsters all the time, so what difference does it make really? I'm all for giving it a try!

If we're going to throw a Hemsworth in there, let's go with Thor himself---Chris. He's closer to Cavill in the character. Great looking, funny, tough, muscular, charming. Ugh, why couldn't they get Chris? I'll give Liam a shot but, to me, the bar has been set high.

Chris would be a more obvious replacement, but I'm happy to see how Liam plays the role.

I’m half way thru Jury Duty on Amazon/Freevee. OMG it’s hilarious. All these actors deserve Emmys for not breaking character. Incredible

We started season 4 (final season) of Jack Ryan last night. So many moving parts to keep track of! But we love Jack!

I’m watching the Wham! documentary and loving the scrapbook reference/theme. I loved Wham! in my teen years and absolutely loved the book by Andrew Ridgely about his time with Wham! If you’re even a slight fan, I recommend.

I am annoyed with them only releasing it an episode a week though. Now I wish I waited until the whole thing was out bc it seems like every episode ends on a cliffhanger.

I just finished season 2 of The Bear. I thought the first season was really good and this second season was some of the best tv I have ever watched. Loved it. I need to finish up the last season of Mrs. Mainel and Never Have I Ever.

Please tell me that besides suspense, there is really no blood & gore. Also not looking for a depressing storyline. The weekly drops don't bother me as we don't binge shows.

There is some violence but it is not gratuitous and does progress the storyline. For example - someone does get shot in the head, and there is some hitting people with the butt of a gun. We're only 3 episodes in, so not sure if it will get worse.

Sounds like he might like it for sure though.

An older one, but I have just discovered Miranda on Prime/BritBox. I signed up for a trial period to catch up on Call the Midwife, then was (of course) offered a special rate to continue. I was on the verge of cancelling BritBox again after that time period expired when I thought I would have a look at Miranda. I was curious because the American sitcom Call Me Kat is based on it. It's Miranda Hart from Midwife aka Chummy! I laughed out loud for the whole half hour, it is that funny! She is a brilliant comedienne, kind of a combination of Carol Burnett and Lucille Ball, with a British accent. I just love this show. Needless to say, I am still a subscriber to BritBox!
