We finished the third and final season of Ragnarok, we're sad that it's ended. We're watching the live-action One Piece, it's adorable how much my husband is enjoying it

I haven't watched this but it's being advertised on the BBC and the reviews are excellent. It's based on a true story which is probably why I'm hesitant to watch, I remember the events in the news. It stars Timothy Spall and Anne Reid. Just thought I'd give a heads up in case it gets to overseas services. The Sixth Commandment I am loving The Sixth Commandment. We only have the first three episodes available here so far, on BBC First. I have to wait until next Thursday for the fourth episode. Aargh! I have just started Steeltown Murders, also on BBC First. I'm really enjoying that one as well. Another BBC First show that I have recently finished is The Control Room. It was really good. And to add another fabulous BBC First show (yeah, I'm kinda late to the party with this one!), I have recently watched the first two seasons of Unforgotten. LOVE it! I love Nicola Walker. After I finished season two, I started watching what I thought was season three. There was a new female DC, and no sign of Cassie, which completely confused me. Then I realised that it was actually season 4, so I stopped watching quick smart. Season three is not available - how weird! ETA: Ooooh ooooh ooooh, I just checked again, and season three of Unforgotten is now available. Woohoo! My next hour is sorted.

I have recently watched the first two seasons of Unforgotten. LOVE it! I love Nicola Walker. We watched the first three seasons and I thought this series was really well done, so well in fact, that I just can't watch anymore. It is just so incredibly sad and just heartbreaking and I had trouble sleeping after watching it.

We just finished the first season of Poker Face on Peacock. Fun show. Hope there is a 2nd season. We LOVE Poker Face! We had watched the first 8 or so episodes, on DD's Stan subscription. But then she let her subscription lapse, so we haven't been able to watch the last two episodes. I'm thinking of taking up a one month free trial just so I can finish watching it.

Yikes. I just finished Dahmer on Netflix. Neicey Nash can really act well. She did a great job in her dramatic role as Dahmer's neighbor and she was nominated for an Emmy for the role. It is a limited series and I warn you that it's very disturbing. I watched it after having watched the documentary on Netflix w/his tapes made during his interviews w/his defense attorney.
I'm sufficiently creeped out, but it was a very interesting series. It is graphic, at times gory, which I normally won't watch and unnerving. I won't say that it was "good", because of the subject matter, but I was interested in the forensic psychology. It is very well acted.

On Hulu recently, we watched Sam & Kate which stars Sissy Spacek and her real life daughter and Dustin Hoffman and his real life son. It's a dramedy that touches on elder care, flailing as to your true purpose, love and loss. We laughed and cried and thoroughly enjoyed it. On Amazon Prime, we watched The Portable Door which is a bit whimsy, Harry Potter-ish film about a secret agency with 2 new hires who discover a devious plot within and a magical door. Light fun and several recognizable faces including Sam Neill. Last night on Netflix, we watched I See You which is a suspenseful thriller. Just when I thought I had the twist figured out... It also kept my DH glued to the screen, a rarity. And I've been rewatching Schitt's Creek, Ted Lasso and Heartstopper when I need a happy pick me up. Sam and Kate was great! We didn’t realize it was their own adult kids at first.

I am currently watching the 7 part mini series " The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart" on Prime, based on the book of the same name. It is SOOOO good. I haven't read the book, so I don't know how it compares. It stars Sigourney Weaver, Asher Keddie (from Offspring) and Leah Purcell. I'm not sure whether this is available on Prime in other countries, but if it is, please watch it. (TW: domestic violence)

We are into series 2 of Silent Witness on BritBox. There are 26 seasons so we are good to go for a while now.
We'll take a break for Shetland when it returns at the end of November - looking forward to seeing the new DI in action.

I was kind of hoping there would be more, but I don't know whether Erin could take any more injuries and still be walking! That girl is tough!

We enjoyed the movie The Burial on Prime. Tommy Lee Jones and Jamie Fox were so good together. It’s about the lawsuit over a contract between a small-town funeral home owner and a large funeral home corporation. Based on a true story in the mid 90s.
