I just watched The Greatest Night In Pop Music on Netflix. If you were an 80's kid, or you really love music, this is awesome. Really worthwhile. Its Lionel Ritchie talking about the creation of We Are The World. Bruce Springsteen, Kenny Loggins, Smoky Robinson, Cyndi Lauper, Sheila E, and others talk about it. There's A little gossip, but not really, nothing mean. I really felt bad for Sheila E, but other then that it was really beautiful. Great stories.

Season 5 of Fargo is my favorite thing I’ve watched in a while. LOVED it.
3 Body Problem had a great first half but the second half fell flat. My husband loved it and can't wait for season 2.
Fallout we both enjoyed. I thought the first few episodes were slow but the last half was great.

I've been watching:
The Circle on Netflix - it's silly and fun to watch. I like all the excitement.
The Leftovers on Max - I am surprised it didn't hit my radar when it was originally on bc it's really my type of show. I just finished season 1 and it was really good.
The Tourist on Netflix - I've only watched a couple of episodes. It's only oK so far but I'll finish the season.
The Gentlemen on Netflix - We're halfway through the season. It doesn't have the same energy as the movie but it started to pick up in episode 3.

I needed a chick flick/RomCom night last night so watched Anybody But You, No Hard Feelings and Love At First Sight on Netflix. They all fit the bill and were worth the watch if that’s the mood you’re in.

I had to scroll through to page 4 to find this thread! What's everyone watching at the moment? I have been alternating between the following: Chicago PD Season 10 Kin (Irish crime drama) Fallen (Swedish crime drama) High Country (Australian mystery / crime drama) London Kills (British police procedural) I am loving all of them. And tonight I finished the last episode of Blue Lights Season 2. I was trying not to binge it, because there are only 6 episodes and I didn't want it to be over too quickly. Love love love this show! Have you started season 2 yet cadoodlebug ?

I just started Dark Matter on AppleTV+ last night. I read the book by Blake Crouch a long time ago and didn't really remember much of it. It's a sci-fi, multiverse drama and good after 2 episodes.

We are watching Obliterated on Netflix. It is cheesy amd hilarious at the same time- it pokes fun at action shows in the 70s and 80s. There is some nudity and lots of drinking/drug use, so if thst bothers you, definitely stay away!

I just started Black Matter on AppleTV+ last night. I read the book by Blake Crouch a long time ago and didn't really remember much of it. It's a sci-fi, multiverse drama and good after 2 episodes. I’m watching this tonight! I read the book also and I’m glad to read that it’s good. 😊 I just finished watching The Leftovers on Max. I’m not sure how I missed it when it was originally on but I really liked it and happy to have something different to watch now.

We are currently watching Franklin on AppleTv+ with Michael Douglas. It's been good so far, but I can only do an episode at a time since I need to then spend time brushing up on my America history! Finished The New Look last week and had mixed feelings. It ended up being a much heavier show than I had anticipated. That said, I could have done with a little less of the WWII scenes and more of the fashion. I just watched The Greatest Night In Pop Music on Netflix. We watched this when it first was released and it was excellent! The other music documentary I recommend is Muscle Shoals, which is about the FAME Studios in tiny Muscle Shoals, Alabama that produced some of the biggest hits of the time. Currently available to view on Prime Video.

Shetland-love!
Sugar-Apple TV-big reveal in last episode that apparently everyone but me anticipated--I've pretty much decided I'll watch Colin Farrell read a phone book
Started Spooks but too heady for me right now. I want scenery and a mix of cozy and grim.

What is The Leftovers about?? I see the trailer... but not sure if it is something i really want to watch... Its basis is that the rapture has come and taken the faithful up to heaven and the rest of the people are the Leftovers so it explores life after that. It's very good and I really enjoyed it as a series.

I was about to cancel Apple TV, then I saw an ad for Dark Matter and thought it looked pretty good. I didn't realise it was sci-fi though, so now I'm not sure that I'll bother. Unless you talk me into it! Ah yes, I forgot to mention Shetland. I finished season 8 a couple of weeks ago, and am now eagerly awaiting season 9. I know that they're filming now, but I don't know when it will be released. cadoodlebug I hope you can get season 2 of Blue Lights soon - it's sooooo good!

Unless you talk me into it! It's more alternate universe than sci-fi. I really like the author of the book and he's the main writer on the show so that bodes well for me. The first two episodes are up so if you don't like it, you can cancel

Just started watching Bodkin on Netflix. So far I'm really liking it, 2 episodes in. Set in Ireland, stars Will Forte as an American restacking a true crime for his podcast.
I love anything set anywhere especially green, in particular Ireland, so this was already something I'd watch but it's also interesting.

I watched a couple of episodes of Blue Lights, but it didn't really grab me.

We're watching Dead Boy Detectives, it's surprisingly good, fast moving and a bit creepy. I was really looking forward to Goodbye Earth but found it confusing, the time line is all over the place and doesn't make sense. I gave up half way through the first episode.

For people like me who enjoy stupid reality TV, there's a fun new show on Prime called The Goat. People from all different reality TV shows (mainly American so I only know 3 of them) compete in lots of stupid challenges to be "The Goat" It's mainly a send up of all the shows, but it's still a real show, and reality TV people doing what they do best - create senseless drama over every little thing...and I'm here for it! They all get a little goat statue and when they are eliminated it gets melted down over the fire pit.

I'll have to check out "The Goat".
I am waiting for The Circle to fully drop and then I'll watch. I really enjoy it.
Dh and I are watching Six Feet Under on Max. It's from the early 2000's and very good. It has it's share of creepy stuff, drama and comedy.
I just finished Baby Reindeer on Netflix. Yikes. It had a lot more layers than I was expecting and it was quite good.

I had watched it years ago, so it’s a rewatch for me. Such a good show! We are a few episodes into season five and looking for our next series. I also recommend The Leftovers! I don’t think it’s anything like the Left Behind series.

Now that the weather is good I’ve been working outside so watching less.

I was scrolling through Max last night and came across an older show called The Outsider. I vaguely remember watching it a few years ago. It's a murder mystery based on a Stephen King book with Ben Mendelsohn and Jason Bateman. I started watching again and it's very suspenseful!
