I haven't read this thread for a while, but is anyone watching Your Honor?? I watched it when it was first on Showtime. How are you enjoying it? It's such a great show! The actor who played Jimmy Baxter was amazing! I actually enjoyed season 2 more than season 1. He is a Broadway actor. ITA that he was great in the role.

We finished Spooks (MI5) the other day. I LOVED seasons 1-8, tolerated season 9 that was all about Lucas and was so unhappy with season 10 and how the show ended. I know it's not REAL but I wanted a different ending for two characters and the way they killed Ruth was horrific. She and Harry were finally going to get their happily ever after but the writers had to screw it up. Now looking for another great police procedural with lots of seasons.

I am up to the last episode of the 10-part Seven Seconds on Netflix. This is another show that I had not heard of until last week when I started watching it, even though it was made in 2018. I am really enjoying it. I will watch the last episode tonight.
And then it's back to The Rookie, which I am really loving, and bingeing way too quickly.

AussieMeg , I just looked on Brit Box and we finally can get season 2 of Blue Lights! We'll start watching tonight! Oh YAY!! Too bad there are only six episodes, you'll be finished before you know it. 😫 I know that they have already committed to season 3 and 4, but we're going to have to wait until March or April next year for season 3. I'm trying to think of other British shows for you to watch, but I can't remember which ones you have already watched. I think you've watched pretty much all of the ones that I have. What about The Responder?

What about The Responder? We tried twice and decided we just couldn't get into it. There are so many that we want to watch, we just move on when it doesn't grab us.

We've recently finished the final series of Sweet Home (Korean horror) and The Umbrella Academy, sad to see the end of both. We're halfway through Kaos which is absolutely fantastic so far, everything right down to the music is great.

I just watched season 1 of Slow Horses. I really like it. Looking forward to the next 2 seasons. DH and I really like this show, though I'll be honest when I say I sometimes am like WHAT DID THEY SAY WHAT JUST HAPPENED WHAT ARE THEY TALKING ABOUT WHO DID WHAT I MISSED SOMETHING And he has to fill me in. Sometimes we don't know yet and they're getting to that part. Sometimes I just missed something subtle. Sometimes I didn't understand what they said, and should have used subtitles.

I am trying to watch everything that has been nominated for an academy award. There are a couple shows that are streaming on platforms that I don't subscribe to so I wont get to them all.
A couple I have started and really enjoy are Lessons in Chemistry on Apple TV and Mr. & Mrs. Smith on Prime.

Skywalkers: A Love Story on Netflix I didn't actually care about the love story aspect because it felt a little overly-played up in order to have some sort of plot. I didn't need to watch the fake, staged-feeling drama and fight between the two
The real story is just them and their epic climbs. These are two Russian "extreme" building climbers who met and began climbing together. Of course, they use this for social media likes, but it's more than that.
I felt so terrified for them, and also really wished I could do it too. I'm scared of heights but loved watching them climb and film it. They illegally scale buildings and skyscrapers and film themselves on rooftops, usually in terrifying poses (especially the female, Angela, who was raised in a circus family and is something of a gymnast).
I wish my husband and I had a hobby doing something this extreme! We're too old to start now but, what an incredible bond they have.

I just finished Astrid on PBS masterpiece I started it when the first season was on prime and then waited for a deal on the channel. It is one of my favorite crime/mystery series. It’s a French series with English subtitles. It only has three seasons but I love it snd hope they make more seasons. The one character is autistic and the actress does such a good job. It’s a really good series.

I just finished “The Last Thing He Told Me” on Apple TV. I read the book when it first came out & liked it, but actually thought the series was much better. It was more suspenseful than then book was, at least IMO.

We just finished Prodigal Son on Max. The cases of the week are a bit too easy to figure out but the long arcing story and the cast is why you really are watching.
I've started watching The Great Pottery Throw Down on Max. This has the same format as The Great British Baking show or as close as you can get given that pottery takes a lot longer to make than cakes and pies. I don't buy much pottery or have any interest in learning to make it but I'm surprised at how much I'm learning and enjoying the series.

AussieMeg, we finished Blue Lights season 2 the other night. I don't know if there will be a season 3 but they seemed to tie up all the loose ends. I hope there is a third season. In the 5th episode when wee Henry shot out the back of Grace and Stevie's car, I thought one of them would be dead. Then we couldn't watch the final episode because DS was up for 4 days.
I was thrilled that neither of them were hurt!! And I was happy that Canning got his just desserts! Jackass!

In relation to your spoiler: I had to watch the next episode immediately, to see whether either of them had been killed. I thought for sure one of them was going to be killed off, and was so relieved! I'm pretty sure I mentioned on an earlier post that they have already confirmed season 3 AND season 4! Season 3 should be out by March or April next year.

We finished all the pottery seasons and haven't seen new ones yet. My mom used to throw a lot and let us play around too. We had a wheel at home and she would take the pieces to a friend's kiln to be fired. I really enjoyed my pottery and sculpture class in high school (also fun was that the teacher knew my mom and all my uncles, and my then-boyfriend who eventually became my husband). DH got me one of the mini wheels for Christmas a few years ago and it's even harder than the full size one, from what I can remember! I often think about taking classes and getting into it just for fun. OMG tangent, sorry! But yes I really like that show.
