Ahh, I love Tangled, a seriously underrated Disney film that actually makes me laugh out loud. "Frying pans, who knew, right?"

sleepingbooty thank you for hosting and posting prompts! You always lift my spirits! I haven't caught up on comments from the last crop but I will. I've been so stressed trying to find my son's medical supplies ( back ordered all over and I've done all I can. Hopefully some will ship next week) that I haven't had much time on the board this week. Disney is my happy place and hopefully I can get some layouts done. I'm really grateful to the Peas for having a place that distracts me from the current situation. Virtual hugs to all of you!

Well, I have decided to make fabric masks all weekend instead of working on my Disneyland Paris pages. My local hospital and family members working there have an urgent need, and that is certainly more important right now. Maybe next weekend.

Comments for Page TWO: Linda, your character luncheon pages are great. Good idea to focus on the family on the first set and on the characters for the second set. Your youngest dd may not remember this adventure, but she sure looks like she ENJOYED it! Oh KelleeM! That FACE!!!! What a sweet photo and a wonderful page! Love the balance between the 3 flowers and the 3 banners. And the birthday photos look really fun, too. Love that you journaled on the viewmaster reel. That paper looks perfect for your SOARIN' pages, scrapnnana. I like the way the photos float across the pages, too.

Hello everyone! Another day, another chance to get creative and crafty. I hope life is treating you alright and the weather is nice in your corner of the globe. ____________________
Today's inspiration comes from: ALICE IN WONDERLAND
Young Alice literally falls down the rabbit hole to discover a completely different world full of nonsense, absurdity, new rules to learn and where she's bound to lose some of her innocence as she faces many threats, even of death upon encountering the Queen of Hearts. This childhood classic is oddly analogous in the current crisis we're facing and a great source of inspiration for our documenting and reflecting as we #STAYATHOME.
General themes: change, celebrating, food + beverages, challenges, knowledge, Easter, "crazy about."
Covid-19 documenting prompts:
- "Curious and curioser." Which are the big and small questions you've been asking during this sanitary crisis? Have you found articles online that help answer these questions? Are you forwarding said articles to loved ones? Are you trying to use reliable scientific sources to combat misinformation and nonsense spread on social media? If so, what are your go-to websites? Have you subscribed to a newspaper or special newsletter since the start of the pandemic?
- How are you celebrating special events while confined? Have you had to improvise a birthday party yet? Have you participated via screen in someone else's birthday celebration? Are you already making plans to adapt upcoming Passover/Easter? Which resources are you using to plan these #STAYATHOME special events? Is family sending gifts via Amazon or other online delivery services?
- How are you and your loved ones learning the new rules of life? Did it take you a while to realise how grave the situation was? Was there a special event that was the catalyst of this realisation (local schools closing, politician speaking up, etc.)? What's the practical advice you've implemented in your home to keep safe? Have you downloaded some of the government-issued posters and flyers about Covid-19 safety tips (handwashing, keeping a safe distance, coughing in your elbow, etc.) so you can save them in your album?
- "Eat me, drink me!" Let's document how Covid-19 is affecting our pantry and essential supplies! Empty supermarket shelves, creative cooking with canned goods, making food last longer (chicken bones for broth, using old bread to make bread pudding, etc.), trying new recipes, filling more bellies with college age kids back at home, a list of everything you're struggling to get your hands on right now.
- "We're all mad down here." Document the ways in which the cooped up craziness is manifesting itself, it's healthy for a good laugh or vent. Is your usually quiet teenager suddenly more of a chatterbox? Is your extrovert spouse struggling to stay inside or be on their own while you try to get some work done? Are your kiddos lamenting social distancing? Are you not finding as much time to craft in peace because everyone keeps barging in now they're at home 24/7?
Graphic design: The new world Alice is exploring is set against the dark background of what's under ground. The croquet scene, the unbirthday tea party, the Cheshire cat encounter, etc. Everything is bright colours contrasting against shades of grey, black, navy and dark green. Embrace darkness as your basis for your projects today. Use bright colours to pop off your dark background or keep it more monochromatic with white and metallics. Whatever you do, be bold with your choices like our young protagonist!

Ahh, I love Tangled, a seriously underrated Disney film that actually makes me laugh out loud. "Frying pans, who knew, right?" Eugene Fitzherbert is one of Disney's best male characters and love interests ever. And this is the hill I will die on.

Ahhh... another book from my childhood.... And the first movie I ever saw...
I actually have some Alice in Wonderland papers—Graphic 45, maybe?—from a kit. I tucked them away b/c I couldn’t figure out how to use them. Maybe this will be the time I pull them out again?

Thank you sleepingbooty for everything. I have copied/pasted/printed the prompts to help me get going today. I am stuck mid-layout currently, just staring at it (half-way done) and unable to find a title, unable to start embellishing. I will use the prompts to push me forward.

This thread is my dream come true. I'm loving seeing everyones happy memories from past Disney trips. I should have been having my first USA Disney trip this May but it's looking unlikely at this time. Not impossible, just unlikely. scrapnnana I absolutely love your Soarin' layout - I love how you have used the hot air balloon print and the co-ordination of papers is just spot on. Are those papers all from the same collection or from your stash? I am yet to do any real scrapping but yesterday I got a new chair delivered for my office/craft room. The one I had been sitting on for the last few years just wasn't cutting the mustard anymore and the closer I get to thirty, the more aches and pains I seem to be getting. I found that some days I couldn't actually sit at my desk as my aches had been so bad. NEW CHAIR = PEACHES BACK IN THE GAME. I can sit here for hours in comfort.

Well, I am two days behind, but I started the Jungle Book inspired layout yesterday, and finished it this morning. I wasn’t kidding when I said that I am a slow scrapper. This is also as green as it gets for me. The photos had so much green in them that they needed something for contrast, and I couldn’t find a green patterned paper in my stash that looked good as a background for the pictures. The two (subtle) patterned papers are from Graphic 45’s Safari collection (old, like just about everything in my stash). The title is from Paper Wizard, although I added the dark green mat behind it. The die cuts are various designs from the Silhouette Design Store. peachiceteas, everything for the Soarin’ and Spaceship Earth layouts came from my stash. I’m happy that you liked those layouts. It took quite awhile for me to find papers that worked together. Enjoy your new chair!

Lovin' your jungle LO's, Ladies! I spit out my coffee when I saw your Ape Sh*t title, Neisey. Perfect story for the jungle book prompt! And your Jungle Cruise pages are beautiful, scrapnnana. I LOVE all the overlapping leaf diecuts! Kudo's on finding a ready made title block, too. Congrats on your new chair peachiceteas! Now I will be imagining you acting just like the guy in the gif you posted! Speaking of rabbit holes, sleepingbooty, I am playing with that rainbow/point of light pin you posted yesterday, but now I feel I NEED to put it all on a black background as per today's prompt. And I NEED to play with the Hey Crafty Girl kit that was in the parcel I picked up yesterday. And I am working on a smaller space than usual (back to my 6x8 album), yet I cut enough circles for a wall canvas I think. Found the photo I plan to use. Did my title block. Decided to cut an 8x12 rectangle of black cs (which I will cut in half when I am done placing things) and am currently figuring out what to do with my rainbow of circles. Have yet to find the buttons and other bits to dress up the circles. Hope I get this done before my head explodes... BTW if a crafter's head explodes, does it litter everything with glitter???

Okay, here is mine for today: Just Crop it! by Gramma Dee, on Flickr Meeting yesterday's POINT OF LIGHT prompt and today's DARK BACKGROUND prompt. A funny little note about Serendipity, I had finished the LO, cut it in half so it could be two facing pages, and photographed it, even emailed it to myself. When I was moving my chair in toward the computer and looked down, and there were a bunch of peachy diecut butterflies and a yellow punched heart. No idea where they came from--obviously fluttered down here while I was digging out other things for this LO. Anyway I grabbed them up, stuck them on the first page and retook the photo. B/c obviously the scrap gods wanted me to use them...

scrapnnana - that is SO green and lush, I love those leaves! grammadee, the rainbow on the black is stunning, and I love how it led me to look for the rainbow in your shirts! My first layout is not inspired by the crop - I started it Thursday before the prompt, and have been "arguing" with it ever since. I brought it up to photograph today, and DH said he didn't like the rainbow box in the upper right corner. So I took it back down and spent another hour arguing with it to come up with the 2nd version. I am including both versions for you to see...what do you think? I think DH was right!!! (BTW, 20 year old photos taken by my aunt. hence, AWFUL photos. But it's nice to see his wee face again ) NEW VERSION layout busy busy busy 2 by kirstendrew, on Flickr FIRST VERSION layout busy busy busy by kirstendrew, on Flickr

My Jungle Book green theme layout about the cute guy from the Tarzan movie: and my Tangled inspired rainbow layout of my kids playing in the fountain: Neisey, I love your title and your story - I'm very glad your juicy thighs were left intact! scrapnnana, isn't it great how just die cuts can elevate a page? Looks great with the double matting! grammadee, your colorful circles are perfect for a Ladybug crop! kitbop, your DH has a good eye for this kind of thing - I agree with him. Nice page

Thanks sleepingbooty for the prompts, I have been copying them into a document and typing out answers. I have not documented the virus and stay home and all that, so this will be good context for future when I decide how to do that. Love all the Disney stuff! I ended up just watching Tangled yesterday then making 2 layouts, 1 was a regular 12x12, & the other was a divided page protector with a lot of memorabilia to manage so took a while. One positive is that I have caught up on a lot of old layouts I wanted to finish or fill in. I may actually have to move some to a new album to make room. Going to try to keep the cropping going....at least while the weather is still a bit iffy.

Hello croppers, Final official day of the crop although I'll be hopping in here with my own projects over the next few days as I slowly catch up on my scrappy projects (had to catch up on work this weekend, alas). I hope you are all having a wonderful time at home and perhaps clement weather outside to make this whole #STAYATHOME business more enjoyable! ____________________ Today's inspiration comes from... HERCULESThe retelling of a myth, done with gusto, incredible music, humour and just the right amount of snark (thank you, Megara!), Disney's Hercules was the perfect choice to close off our #STAYATHOME Disney crop. Just seconds into the movie, the narrator asks: "What is the measure of a true hero?" which is just the right question to ponder as the world settles into a new, unknown normal where essential workers carry the world, feeding and healing us. Let's practice thankfulness and reflect on our fortunes as the weekend ends. Bonus: if you have Disney+, Hercules is part of the Disney films currently available from the platform! It's a deliciously funny movie that has all the greatest "bad puns" to have you laughing and forgetting about the scary stuff happening right now. General themes: showtime (theatre, opera, Broadway, musicals, school plays, etc.), the arts, sports + championships, genealogy/stories from generations past, heroes. Covid-19 documenting prompts: - Who are your helping hands through this crisis? Getting help from anyone like the kids picking up household chores? Are you doing any helping? Are you extra grateful for the so-called invisible helpers that make our everyday run smooth and seamlessly? Is there a special initiative in your community you wish to highlight and remember (meal delivery service, neighbours doing the errands for those at risk, etc.)?
- How are you practicing spirituality during these difficult days? If you attend religious service, how have your leaders adapted their offer to practice social distancing? If you aren't religious, how are you working on inner peace and quiet when the news is so anxiety-inducing: meditation, journaling, artistic endeavours?
- "Call IX-I-I!" One of the many puns in this modern Disney classic and a good reminder to reflect on the medical heroes: our doctors, nurses, emergency services, hospital workers and scientists who are on the front line of the war against the coronavirus. Is there a way you can incorporate them in your documenting? Maybe an article you've read online about the work they're currently doing? Something about the news of the search for a vaccine against SARS-CoV-2?
- "A little cirrus, a touch of nimbostratus and a dash of cumulus!" Let's document the weather as we #STAYATHOME. It helps to anchor the passing of time as we take the time to record the change in temperature, the slow transition into the new season, the lengthening (or shortening for those down under) of the days, the changes in nature that you can observe from your home (flowers, wildlife). If you have small children at home, this is an excellent daily habit to help structure their confinement routine: every day, get them to figure out the temperature outside and record the type of weather you're having. You will be able to look back on this historical time with precision and a strong sense of general atmosphere later on.
- "I can go the distance!" To finish off our social distancing documenting, let's take a look at how we're preparing for the next few weeks as we continue to do our best to flatten the curve. Have you figured out a grocery schedule? Did you get recurring subscriptions for certain items from an online retailer? Are you planning to surprise your kids with a new phone, video game or anything helping to make their confinement more pleasant? Did you pick up on a habit to literally help you go the distance such as regular workouts from your living room, a threadmill or using your Fitbit to make sure you get your daily steps in despite your #STAYATHOME regimen?
Graphic design: bring in the sky! Hercules is filled with dreamy scenes from Mount Olympus among puffy, cotton candy cloud architectural formations and bright blue Greek skies. Find ways to replicate the natural whimsy of the horizon: shades of blue, cloud embellishments, vellum overlays, mixed media for hazy effects, everything that can turn your project into a soothing ode to something that is greater than us. Here is my Disney themed LO for today. Not based on any of the themes, but it DOES have a Disney character on it. Too many RED things by Gramma Dee, on Flickr Was inspired by KelleeM's "This FACE" page, and encouraged by her and msliz while chatting last night. Amazing that I could find an envelope with ten year old photos and some supplies for scrapping them, but am still at a loss for where my Neverland collection from last year or my Tula and Norbert collection from last month have wandered... Thanks for all the encouragement and prompts, sleepingbooty and to everyone who is playing along. If I had to pick a group to be stranded on a desert island with it would be the scrappy PEAS!

marie , I am loving the bright colours on your Disney pages! Perfect title for Over the Moon. Love the use of that green/purple plaid. And that Halloween fireworks page is amazing! Great photos, even more fun when they are overlapped, tilted and cascading down the page. And I love the stripes of happy Halloween pages and bright colours. Linda , those cards are pretty, and I am sure they will be appreciated by the residents at the long term care facility who so much NEED a way to connect with loved ones. Good job getting your scrap on, natscraps ! And kudos on finding a way to share them with us! I love the tilted photos on the dark background for your Hollywood Studios pages. And nice touch using that multi coloured snowy background for Frozen. Chinagirl828, msliz and kitbop there is love in the Gallery. BTW your dh could be a design consultant, kitbop. Cutting the top off that card was the right idea. And maybe I need to dig out some cute 40 year old photos of my Duck-Dynasty-bearded eldest son to remember how cute HE used to be.
