Just finished 100 postcards for the staff at the nursing home - super simple again - using up scraps and stamping a sentiment and a brief handwritten thank you on the reverse.

I have two whole unopened packets of Echo Park Disney papers, just waiting for my next trip to WDW. I have a strange feeling that it isn’t going to be next month after all... And I have lots of photos from a trip to Disneyland Paris in 2018, but no ink to print them! I can’t make LOs without actual photos to hand, so I’m going to save all the wonderful Disney prompts for later. However, I did make a layout tonight using a couple of photos that have been kicking around my desk for the last couple of years. I wanted to fill my LO with flowers to reflect the story behind the photos: I went to my local Tesco the day after Mother’s Day 2017, only to find the store full of flowers. They had ordered too many bouquets for Mother’s Day, and were selling them all off at 5% of the original price. In the photos are £180 worth of flowers that cost me £9. I bought lots and lots for myself, my friend, and several of my neighbours. I also had to buy a couple of vases for myself. I adore fresh flowers and it was wonderful to have a house full of them.

Thanks for hosting the hangout today msliz. Nice to scrap with you all! I managed a 2 page layout today and it is Disney Channel related. My oldest DD’s 10th birthday...she’ll be 21 in 3 weeks 😉 Sharing the first page now as it was too dark for s photo by the time I finished the second page.

More beautiful cards, Linda. What a kind thoughtful gesture. The papers you chose are perfect. natscraps, your Disney pages are super. Love the Disney papers, and those Mickey diecut pieces on cs. Your flower page is really fun, lesley. Love how it looks like the abundance of flowers just exploded out of the photos and onto your page! Neisey, that birthday page is awesome! I love that bedazzled guitar! I can't quite read the journaling. Did you MAKE that cake?

Thank you sleepingbooty for the themes and prompts for this weekend. It gave me lots of energy, and I'm almost finished with my 2008 Disney/Universal album. I made myself a challenge to only use scraps, washi, and an 8.5x11 b/w pad for the whole album, and even the white card stock backgrounds are the reverse side of unwanted patterned papers. The one exception I made was the dot print on the space dudes page. It was a really fun album to make. I finished up a bunch of pages today that I had started awhile ago: grammadee , you were right to warn me. The Nuvo drops did crack on 2 of the flower centers and had to be redone.

Well done on the layouts, ladies! All of them are beautiful and you ladies have such an attention to detail with bits and pieces that I wish I had the patience for. There is a reason why my canvas is strictly 3x4 photos and cards! kitbop There is something precious about your layout - the colours breathe life into the old photos. You can't even really tell that they are that old. linda you're amazing! Those cards are so pretty and they will be very much appreciated I am sure. I managed one spread on Saturday - I really need a fresh injection of supplies into my stash before I do anything else. I have a Citrus Twist order on it's way and I am currently subbed to 2 kit clubs, so new supplies will be here in next few weeks. I did however work on a project which I have wanted to find time to work on for a little while. I got married in May 2019 and for the year running up to my wedding day, I documented all the little bits and pieces of wedding planning - I ended up with 84 photos and descriptions. I took some of the photos, my friends and family sent me some of the photos (ie. invitations arriving at their home) and I included some screenshots of text messages people sent me too. I created a template and put 2 photos and descriptions on 3x8 ready to go into a Citrus Twist album. It's all ready to print out and cut down, my Amazon delivery of photo paper will be here on Wednesday. I should end up with an album of photos of all the little things I didn't want to forget. A rewarding project that just needed one Sunday afternoon to pull it all together!

I couldn't participate in the crop, but I'm still working on my Disney/Universal trip from February and made a 40+ photo collage in the shape of a Mickey head to print out for my home. If anybody wants it (I am not a professional at all), I'm happy to share. Just message me, please.

Neisey, that birthday page is awesome! I love that bedazzled guitar! I can't quite read the journaling. Did you MAKE that cake? Thanks grammadee! Yes, I made the cake. My DDs now prefer a fancy cupcake from the bakery but when they were little I always made their cakes...cartoon characters, 3D, etc. The guitar is just a sticker from the dollar store craft aisle. Not sure if you can see - there are some small colorful stars. They are iron on appliqués also from the dollar store.

I pulled my Tangled pictures and possible papers, but that is as far as I got. I will continue to work on my Disney pages now, though, so thanks for getting me scrapbooking again!
