Sounds familiar I have picked up my knitting again after a long break. I started a cuddle blanket for my Grandson soon after he was born...had a long break...lost the pattern....undid it all and started again....long break blah blah. Well he's 3 and a half (!!) and I have no time excuses so now's the time! lainey - great to see you again Wait, what? How is that possible? 'My' precious little boy 😊 Attachments:

gar he's so cute He's a non stop, excitable, determined, joyful bundle of cuteness that's for sure...and even though I adore him as I do, I'm very glad I'm not on lockdown with a 3 year old right now!

That did make me laugh! I Skype with the DGDs a few times a week, to give their parents a break and because I'm getting withdrawal symptoms. We play games. The most fun is a type of scavenger hunt where I hold up cards I've written telling them to find something in the house and show it to me or a gymnastic move or similar. The cards help with their reading and I throw in some simple maths too. The girls love it and so do I but after 3/4 hour I'm exhausted and all I'm doing is sitting at a screen!

The girls are 5 & 7 so old enough to join in with me. It will be hard with an active little boy to keep his attention without being in person. Only a few more weeks, hopefully!

Aah, thank you! It sort of comes and goes, so I'll realise I'm feeling quite a lot better and then it hits me again. My temperature has been going up at around 3pm each day so we'll see how that goes. But I think on balance I am improving - my breathing does seem better today. I've just tried to log in remotely for work and I can't do what the boss told me I would be able to do, so until I get a call back, I'm going to do some crochet I think.

Hello everyone. I finally started knitting again last night after nearly getting to the end of some business problems. If I keep going I might finish this current shawl in a few days and go back to the crochet jacket. I’m turning a blind eye to all my WIPs at the moment. lainey you know you were spotted yesterday. you will be welcomed back with open arms if you feel up to posting again. Hope you are keeping well. Thank you I'm very well, feeling much lighter and positive than I did a few weeks ago (even in the midst of you know what!) My husband is in his third week working from home so I'm loving the company I hope everyone is well and coping with the current situation.
I've been busy knitting socks
The top are Dotty socks, middle the Austin socks and bottom are Favourite Vanilla socks. I have one sock of another pair finished.
lainey!!! Oh I’m so thrilled to see you. This just made my day! Ok going to try to catch up with the thread now.

Finally getting in here this month! Love the shawls and blankets and socks! I’m teaching online for the rest of the school year (May 28 but who’s counting, right?) and it’s absolutely exhausting! A friend and her husband who are both home health nurses asked me to make them a few masks. I happily obliged! Then my daughters old principal saw a post on Facebook that I was making them and asked me to do one for her. That was yesterday.... I dropped it off at school at 7:30 this morning. . My sister in TX has asked me to make her family some and I’m making some for my parents. Attachments:

Tiger King painted rocks. I got out my fabric stash and may attempt making masks if the old sewing machine still works.

My yarn still hasn't arrived. It's been nearly two weeks since it shipped from wool warehouse. I'm starting to get nervous. Nothing I've ordered has ever taken this long.
Still working at the blanket. Thinking I might scrapbook tomorrow. What's everyone else up to?

Still working at the blanket. Thinking I might scrapbook tomorrow. What's everyone else up to? When did you order? This is from their website. If you heard that it’s shipped it must be on the way I would have thought. They are usually very good at keeping customers informed. Maybe send an email asking if they have any information?

Still working at the blanket. Thinking I might scrapbook tomorrow. What's everyone else up to? I tried to send a parcel from MI to my mom in the U.K. a couple of weeks ago. The post office worker told me that the parcel may sit in customs for a long time at the moment, and possibly be sent back to me. I opted not to send it. Since the flights to and from the U.K. are currently restricted, I imagine all mail will be delayed.

I’ve made the head of another puppet. I can’t decide whether to make it into a goofy looking dog or a big bad wolf. It’s for a pre school program at the local nature Center. He will probably be a live hand puppet like Cookie Monster with the puppeteers hand in a fur glove so he can pick things up and the other hand moving the mouth. The pic on the left is how it currently looks with two different color eyebrows pinned on until I decide which to go for. The pic on the left is photoshopped with some elements to make it into a big bad wolf. Any thoughts?

I hadn't been working on my crochet blanket much over the last few months, but picked it up again. It's the hydrangea blanket and is just over half done.
