They are nice and cheery, RedSquirrelUK . How are you feeling now, btw? Ah bless you, thank you for asking. A bit fed up to be honest. I was better over the weekend, temp down, chest improved, then today it's gone back up again and my breathing is harder again. I rang my welfare rep at work and she said to stay off for another week. DH is giving me a bit of a hard time.

I love the suggestion to submit it however it is not my pattern so not sure how that would work. The rules only state "no quilts from kits". I think as long as you give credit to the pattern designer, it would be accepted. Worth a quick email to them to find out for sure though!

I think he was hoping for some quiet time, but he'd have to feed himself! No there are no tests available for us, although my boss today said he thought that we might be next, once the frontline NHS staff had been tested. There's a new drive-through opened in the nearest city.

Ooh, so much good posted in 6 days! Laughing myself silly over the quilt top, muggins melrose! And muggins, dog or wolf, either is beyond adorable! You are very talented. lainey, good to "see" you again. Your socks are wonderful. The hot pink and orange is a wool I've used before myself. I love them all! gar, your grandson is precious! And I second sueg 's suggestions for sock yarn; the German brands are wonderful to use, and they have great striping yarn. The white bobble baby blanket is lovely, finsup! That velvety-soft yarn is wonderful, and a baby will love the feel of it.

Not really a craft, but we have a table that we bought from Pier 1 years ago, it had some damage on it from nail polish remover several times.
I have wanted to sand it and restrain it forever. Well I said to DH since I'm laid off why not?
I sanded it, stained it and I'm in my 3red coat of polyurethane. That has been interesting to work with. Thank goodness for Pinterest. But man my table looks brand new! Final coat tomorrow. And inside the house for the uneventful Easter dinner..

jeremysgirl did your yarn show up? I’ve just seen a FB post from Wool Warehouse pleading with people to not email but to read their new FAQs. I’ve not read them but I think you said your parcel had been sent so hopefully you’ll get it soon.

My latest socks, as soon as I'd finished weaving the ends in I put these on. They've been washed since I'm thinking I need some sock blockers to make them look a bit prettier for photos.
I started the Waroo shawl and couldn't follow the pattern so frogged it after four rows, I then started the Tailwind shawl, dropped a stitch and ended up frogging that in frustration My yarny endeavours are not going well atm. I've ordered some interfacing to make some bags and I'm planning on cutting some fabric so I'm ready to go.

Love all the projects but my favorite on this thread is definitely the toilet paper quilt! brilliant. and hilarious. I don't think I posted in the March craft thread and I still haven't finished the "reproduction" tobacco basket I last posted about in February. But was itching to do something crafty so I re-purposed an old dusty wreath and a bunch of plastic Easter eggs. Ideally I would have liked the eggs to be closer together but was working with what I had in the house. Overall I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out. It was harder to hot glue the eggs to the grapevine wreath than I thought it would be though!

Tonight I whipped up one of these 1 Hour Baskets to use as an Easter basket for DD tomorrow. I've had the fabric for a couple of years (it's a linen/cotton canvas by Kokka) and DD has always liked it. This was my first try at this pattern, but it really did go together quickly. I'm even more surprised at how well the pattern on the seams matched up. I was just trying to get them all on the same level going around the basket. I can see myself making more to use for storage in drawers or cabinets. (off to add photos)

You're all such talented people **GypsyGirl** - love that little bag! Well, I've finished knitting for now because turns out I haven't got nearly enough wool even for a small-ish blanket I have ordered more but don't know how long that'll take to come. Bit frustrated but hey ho.

Initially I just planned to do squares and put them together so I asked the lady in my local wool shop to estimate for me as there wasn’t a pattern as such. Never mind - I’ll have to just read and do my jigsaw instead for a while 😉

You are all so talented! I have admired you skills for many months now, and will share some of my projects when I figure out how to upload pictures. I mostly sew (and used to scrap but inspired by you I started with crochet too.

muggins - Once again another fantastic animal! I vote for one of each because it's impossible to choose. melrose - I love your quilt! I just read that Dr. Sandra Sider (Curator of the Texas Quilt Museum) is working on book with Schiffer Publishing called "Quarantine Quilts: Creativity in the Midst of Chaos." A total of 50 to 60 artists will be featured in the book, with approximately 25 being selected for a special exhibition at Houston’s International Quilt Market & Festival in 2020. Call for entries. You should consider submitting your quilt! Oh that is a great idea! Your quilt is hilarious.
