I'm just curious. I've been very blesssed in that my income has been unaffected by the pandemic.
I've been thinking that I'll add mine to my retirement account. I have a friend who said he plans to donate his.

we will pay off a medical bill and put the rest in savings until we know our jobs are safe. We will save it for a trip when we can go out again!

Mine went straight into savings, and I will add the $500 for the kids into their bank accounts. I don't want to touch it because no one has any idea when things will get back to normal.

I put ours in the bank.
I dont think it is going to stimulate the economy. Either it is going to rent/other bills or into the bank for many us

I haven't decided. My husband I are both still working (and extremely thankful for that). But who knows what will happen as this all continues. So I will most likely either save it or use it to pay off bills. If there was more job security, I would definitely spend it on something that we could use, like a new washing machine or repair work on the house. We definitely need to work on the house.

Hopefully saving it, but it depends on my job status and how long this drags on, When this is all over if it is still there it will help pay for a Disney trip.

I think donating at least part of it would be a nice thing to do. My DH lost his job on 4/1 but he will get unemployment and we will be okay. There are so many people struggling horribly that it doesn’t feel right to “hoard” it.

Deductible on my car repair, oil change and bills. I’m still working so using it to get caught up or ahead on everything because I don’t think the economy will bounce back quickly and hospitals will be laying people off.

Reimburse my savings for all the toilet paper I bought. I'm only half kidding.
I'll let you figure out which half.

I'm going to give half to my college aged daughter who will not be receiving a check herself. The other half I will put in savings.

I am buying a toaster/convection/air fryer and then likely paying off a couple bills (our 2016 one year old new to us Kia needed a motor rebuilt this winter and we have a couple medical bills —- sigh)
I’d like to save it for new furniture or a future vacation. We will have to sit down and think about it, but we will pay off the motor for sure. The medical bills don’t have interest and we always have them since we have a very high deductible, so I would like to put it toward a fun fund if possible.

Either to help with next year’s college tuition or trip to see dd graduate plus side trip to Disney, if that happens. Either way we need to get to FL and pick up her car and belongings.

Our money situation has not changed. We will be donating part of it, and using the rest to pay against a bill, or having our water heater looked at, and possibly replaced.

We’re going to donate most of it. My kids each get to research and choose a charity of their choice.

I'm kind of hoping when they do this again, they will add in that age group I havent been watching the news - have they said when they will be doing this again? And is it for everyone (like this round) or just the ones that were left out the first time?
