finally got this layout finished - I'm still not 100% happy with it but it has sat on my desk blocking creativity for way too long and now it'll be in the album

Linda I like it! It's cheerful, picks up the colors in the floats, I love the blue, and like you said, it's DONE! Hopefully now that that's off your desk the next thing will flow a little easier. I'm up bright and early, 6:30am, and surprised by how bright it is this early! Unfortunately have to go do some non-viral medical stuff first thing. With the shutdown I was able to get a next day appointment since they're not doing routine screenings, so hopefully I'll be back home and ready to be creative by 10:30. The sun is out but it won't last - looks like a rainy weekend coming up. I'm GOING to print photos for my virus journal today. I've publicly declared it so I have to now. Hold me to it, please.

Good morning, Ladies. A little late to the party, but awake and into my first cup of coffee here in Mountain time. Good to see so many scrapping or planning to scrap with us here. Welcome scrapho. Hope you have fun this weekend. Way to get the party going, Linda ! Hope the creative bug has returned to your home to stay. Love the cards & badges, AussieMeg ! Does anyone know how to add one of the badges to our signature line? I tried by resizing the image of one of them and putting it into my Flickr photostream, but it didn't work when I tried to insert it by copying that address. ABCreations helped us retrieve our Pokey Pea turtles, and and I think she said we need a shorter address line for the badges to work, but I have no idea how to do that.

Here are a couple of kits I came up with: This first one is a collection of chipboard and other embellishments left over from projects long completed. I have this little box on my counter and plan to grab items from it all month. This second one, this morning I rummaged through my stash and the supplies I had already chosen for the vacation album I plan to work on. It includes brand new VB Lets Wander, but some earlier VB (I want to use the flowers from the cover of her mixed media pad), older yet Recollections, and some Basic Grey. I included a printout of the colours crystalb gave us for the kit challenge kitbop selected. Now to actually DO some scrappin!

AussieMeg I love the badges and cards! Thank you! Whoo hoo! Linda way to go! I really really like that layout. It's so bright and colorful and fun! I hope this means your mojo is coming back. I've been a bit lazy so far today. I have some chores/and one errand to do. Then I'm going to dig into these challenges and hopefully a hangout this afternoon. There is so much good energy in a pea crop, it gets me excited to scrap! I want to start documenting COVID. I placed a preorder for some papers, that I now have a little buyers remorse over. I found tons of stuff in my stash that will be perfect. I think I'm going to document it in a TN. That's going to be first for me. I really like what you have pulled together grammadee . I love to see a kit of supplies all piled together.

love all the spring colours in that second kit grammadeeI have a kit question - I have a pile of Disney papers and stickers and other stuff pulled together but I've already matched some with photos - can I count that as my kit if I take a photo of the main pile?

Linda , I love the bright colors on your double page layout of Disney. I love that color of blue and am sad that I used my last little scrap of that color cardstock. You were able to use so many photos and still have room for embellishing. Great job. Your page for the sketch is funny. Love the look, and had to laugh as my grands are doing all kinds of riding, running, etc. for P.E. too, and some in the rain. Great thing to document. Love it. AussieMeg, I love the badges. I hope someone can help us get them in our signatures. grammadee , I love your kit. I will be interested to see what wonderful pages result from this. I am working on a couple of pages at once and hope to actually complete something today. I can tell I am out of practice. I haven't scrapped for almost a month. Too many decisions is my problem. Thanks to everyone who put this all together! I don't know if I will do the challenges, but I will definitely spend today and tomorrow scrapping.

Love your pages, Linda . The Disney pages are so bright and cheerful. So glad you are getting back to working on that album. And I laughed when I saw the biking in the rain page! Dgs's mom posted a video for his teacher of him running along beside the golf cart that his mom & dad were riding in, and they labelled it Phys Ed. I think your idea for a kit works! In fact that is kind of what I did: already had selected supplies for pages in the whole album; just selected some that worked with one of the mood boards in the challenge. I find the same thing, nylene , when I have been away from scrapbooking for awhile. Seems like I have to make decisions about every. Little. Thing. Then once I am rolling, the pages go together much more quickly: less thinking, more creating... Here is my first page of the month, a lift of one of KikiPea's from April. I will look for the link to attach her page. In Search of Summer Sunshine by Gramma Dee, on Flickr Definitely off topic as it is the OPPOSITE of staying home. Remember when we could just get onto a plane with our family and fly off for adventure? This is the first page of the album I am putting together with photos sent to me by ds & family of their Hawaii vacation just a few month ago...

I've been back & forth between kids & my scraproom all morning and early afternoon.
I feel like I'm getting a lot accomplished. So far i have twelve 12x12 pandemic layouts either in progress or finished.
I also have a box out and I'm putting in anything that i just don't want anymore. Mostly stamps & some dies so far.
And scrapping is the best time to see what themes I'm stocked for and which i need more. I have my list out!

Linda - Love the distance learning bike ride in the rain. My kids have a varying degree of commitment to distance learning depending on the day and the kid. LOL! grammadee - I love that page of them on the plane! I bet they are so glad they went when they did! I love that hello paper! I need to buy some. Is that Vicki Bouton? I have a layout in progress using one of the sketches. Hope to get it finished soon.

Love the colors in your kit! Are your alphas ombre? So pretty! Thanks, they are not ombré. Just a pretty aqua color. I think they are from Pinkfresh, but I’m not sure. I don’t have the packaging anymore.

It looks like everyone is getting busy! Linda I love the page about your daughter biking in the rain, lol. The rain puddle/shadows on the embellishment are perfect. And it looks like you’re getting back into your productive groove! Yay! grammadee those Hawaii trip pages will be a nice break from the current reality. Kind of weird, I imagine, like you said “remember when...” I love the hello paper and all the pretty colors. cannmom whoa! Just a little bike ride through a river?! I love the way you used all the stars and arrows to move the eye around the page. It looks like you have some fun colors in your kit. love those alphas. I’m back from getting my lumpy boobs squished and ultrasounded - all good. Nothing to worry about. Another story for my virus journals - a peek inside the medical system during a global pandemic... I’ve seen enough! An extra thank you to any and all of you working essential jobs right now, especially in doctor’s offices and hospitals. Better tally up last month’s points and then get down to business.
