OK, I've made some real progress! I have pulled together what I'm going to call a kit - it's all the scraps and leftover papers that I think *might* work with my photos for my virus diaries. I haven't done paper scrapping in forever so I have no idea how it will work out but I have a place to start. It's a very eclectic mix of Heidi Swapp Wolf Pack, Shimelle, Jen Hadfield, and things with lines/grids I can write on, with a side of Paige Evans pretty stuff. iNSD 2020 paper kit by jo.blackford, on Flickr I also have some ephemera and I have printed some photos to get started with, including lots of screenshots and photos I've saved from friends online. I'm even printing a 2Ps convo from way way back before we realized what this was going to look like in the US... sobering to read what past me thought about all of this... Virus diaries kit “organization” by jo.blackford, on Flickr The last organizational bit was making sure I had all my current photos and digital products in Lightroom and tagged coronavirus pandemic so I can find them. I will probably be adding a lot of IACB printables to this "kit" as I go. I've got my cardmaking stuff cleared away and now I'm just hoping that all those hours of watching Shimelle (and others) have seeped into my brain so I will magically know how to scrapbook. lol. Actually, I might go watch some Layle by Mail before dinner - I don't want to get too caught up with how cool her TNs are, but that's kind of the vibe I'm going for with this project. Wish me luck!

joblackford , that looks like a fun eclectic kit. I am anxious to see what you create with it. Ryann, I love the background paper on your page. Did you do the dots or are they printed? I love the big bold title and the use of some great pieces tucked in around the photo. Very classy page! Linda , I love your Pooh pages. My youngest grandson loved Pooh's house. I stayed with him while he played there and the rest of the family went to ride something more wild. He cried when we had to pull him away to have lunch. Thanks for bringing back fun memories. Sweet pages...even better to know that the baby is now a teen! My mojo is coming back and I hope to do at least one more tonight. Because I pre-cut a lot of elements with my Silhouette, some pages will come together a bit faster.

Mel -hope to see you scrapping away tomorrow joblackford - great kit and organising. I'm still on the fence about documenting - I *think* I'm going to do weekly?/monthly? pages in my 2020 family album summing up the week/month rather than a separate something or other but... nylene - yay for mojo! Just took an evening walk - up and down my driveway multiple times (it's long - I get about 1000 steps/lap) for about 40 minutes. I finished another layout before I left - just need to scan it.

joblackford - Your kit looks like it will work well! I am anxious to see what you do, I am still mulling my Covid album over. Here is my first layout. I used sketch 3. My daughter turned 16, got her drivers license and her first boyfriend in one week so that is this page. The part with the photos flips up for all my wordy journaling about the occasions. 😀

lynnek, your page and your DD are beautiful. I love the way you used the sketch. The use of the washi tape and the torn edges are fun touches. Did you stitch through your title? That is such a great look. I think before our next big 2Peas Party, I need to find the camera that goes to my computer and have DSIL come help me figure out what I need to do to use it. I'm jealous that you all get to see and interact with one another and I don't!

Would love to see your cards, hop2. Sounds like you had a productive evening after a whole day at work. When I downloaded the file from AussieMeg's drop box, I think one of the files was a Jpeg or a png which allowed me to print the cards from my computer. I still have not figured out how to incorporate a badge into my signature. Love your page, @lynek. Such pretty colours! And such a busy week! No wonder you needed extra space to hold your journaling. Such a lot for a mom to take in... Linda, your Disney pages are fabulous without the special papers. The photos have all the detail you need, so simply reflecting some of the colours in the pp and cs is enough. I like how the banner on page two matches the half page on the first one. I ended up finishing another page this evening. I had all the papers on my counter with the photos anyway--from my iNSD kit and some scraps from the facing page. And as I was looking through the Gallery I noticed a page of msliz's that I had loved the first time I saw it. Loved how she had used the VB pp with the rays, and switched out the white cs I had planned to use for a background for that paper. So much to explore by Gramma Dee, on Flickr TaDa! The page came together quickly while I chatted briefly with her and the others on kitbop's evening Hangout session. Seems that all I can do today is scraplift other people's page designs, but I am okay with that.

1. SATURDAY SKETCH CHALLENGE: SKETCHY SATURDAY!
Since we already get an awesome Saturday sketch offering, I am going to refer you to today's post courtesy of the awesome AussieMeg ! (warning - not yet available...coming soon)
Now, an additional bonus twist: I found this great challenge from 2015 (!) from a pea I do not recognize @ionr.
double scrap Double scrap this sketch! Maybe we can interpret it into a card? Turn the sketch sideways or upside down? Anyways, I'm offering 20 bonus points to team members if you complete this sketch a second time!
Okay, just checked AussieMeg's Sketchy Saturday and I can see all kinds of ways to take this one on... It's a double page sketch, but she has provided an idea for a one page version. Hmmm... I could do the one pager twice... I could pick ONE of the pages in the 2-pager and do THAT one twice... How many points will you give me, kitbop, if I get the double pager done in the way it is sketched, then flip the sketch horizontally and put together a second two pager with THAT sketch? Tomorrow will be--indeed--a sketchy Saturday...

It is Friday evening here. You are welcome to scrap and share and/or chat in this thread whenever you like. We have a couple of people from Melbourne popping in. If you want to join into one of the video chats, we can convert the times so you can figure out what works best for you.

Okay, back with one more page, but I think that will be it for me for the day. Lost the creative flow when I had to run those errands, and right now my mind is mush and my neck is stiff. Am I ever out of scrappy shape if two pages in one day will play me out! Will come back and chat after I have supper started... Anyway, this page uses the kit I put together this morning and the Sketch #1 for today. Turned the sketch on its side, placed the background pp and the photo, and then the page kinda got away on me, but I DID start with that sketch! Hello Hawaii by Gramma Dee, on Flickr This LO is gorgeous. I just love it! I have that same photo! 🥰

I love, love, love all the layouts & cards posted!! So much inspiration & talent!😁
Yesterday I made a point to use my alpha stamps for titles. I realized that I'm still using the same three sets that I bought between 2003 & 2006! To be fair, I do really like them.
I've discovered that making pandemic layouts has been sort of therapeutic to me. Some pages are serious, with lots of journaling about how schools closed & I'm furloughed from my job, and how uncertain things are. And some pages are just memes printed out.
Today i plan on working on & maybe finishing my March pandemic layouts. Also starting a school layout.

Wow! Lots of creative beauties already being shared. I've liked comments and pages from most of yesterday (breaks while working) so I'm starting my commenting on page 4. lynnek, beautiful layout. I really like the "GOOD" font style. I love the idea of the hidden journaling and how you created it with the little flag and hearts as the pull up. Linda, it's so good to see you back on a roll with layouts. I love the black and yellow on Pooh. But with those amazing photos, you probably could have nothing behind them. I'm a Tigger fan - that's T - I - double ger. grammadee, So Much to Explore has such gorgeous vibrant colors, perfect for Hawaii. That double rainbow photo is wow. But my heart goes to the beautiful chicken. I'm up and getting ready for my couple of hours of scrap time. I'll be posting a link in the Virtual Crop Schedule around 9am for another "hangout" session if anyone is up and ready to hang.

You have all finished so much all ready! I tried yesterday, but too many interruptions. My family is under strict orders to let me create today (at least until I help with dinner). And tomorrow will hopefully find me back here in the afternoon. I have some cards to make!
So good morning! I hope you have some yummy snacks ready for today. Let's get busy!

So how do we print the awesome cards Aussie Meg made? I can’t figure it out. After I download them, I double click on the image I want to print (the page of all 6 cards is the easiest). They open automatically on my computer as a photo, and I can print from there. I adjust the print settings - I choose "high quality" and "matte photo paper" even tho I'm just using cardstock paper. I think before our next big 2Peas Party, I need to find the camera that goes to my computer and have DSIL come help me figure out what I need to do to use it. I'm jealous that you all get to see and interact with one another and I don't! I know! We would love to chat with you! If I had to mess with a webcam, I'd struggle to connect too. I can use my ipad or laptop with built-in webcam and then it's just a one-click deal. The funny part is we had TWO peas chatting with us last night who admitted they were only still hanging around because they couldn't figure how to DISCONNECT from us No names I found my way into a chat. I think you were there? I didn’t catch everyone’s user names. Good fun And we're so glad you did!!! It was such a thrill, honestly, to have an international crowd. It is reassuring to hear from Your daylight gave us all a late night boost I think grammadee wasn't there last night (unless she joined after I left) but gramma was!!! I'm...slowly...learning!

I hope you have some yummy snacks ready for today. Speaking of which - what ARE the peas snacking on today? Whose food choices have deteriorated with the quarantine? (raising my hand). When we do the weekly grocery shopping, I'm afraid we also tend to stock up on snacks, and don't practice much restraint because we know we won't be running out to the store if we have a sudden craving later in the week. At least we have learned to ration the treats out so they last through the week! I have a house BURSTING with bad food. Leftover chinese take out from DH's birthday last night (his choice. not my fave). 3 types of cookies, wagon wheels, chips, licorice, homemade lemon birthday cake, homemade brownies, chocolate bars, ice cream, and my personal enemy...raisin bread!

I'm scrapping alongside you ladies today. I'm on my second spread of the day. I'm a bit of a slow scrapper but I'm working on our Paris photos from the summer. kitbop I'm obsessed with milk chocolate cookies at the moment. I made a batch of cookie dough and froze it, so I can bake fresh hot cookies when the mood strikes. grammadee I love how bright your Hawaii pages are. They're gorgeous! linda you are on fire! Linda , more great Pooh pages. I love all the great shots you got of the scenery inside the ride. Totally cute and memorable. This was a fast page to do. I cut many of the die cuts when I did the companion page in March. I just needed to get one more photo printed to finish this. Putting it together is easy. It doesn't scan well, but is a white doily print with big white die cut hearts behind the photos. Love You Forever LisaDV, congrats on 10,000 posts. I thought I was a chatterbox with 3,000. So are you still working on cleaning your woodwork today?
