teacherlisa - yay for photos arriving soon! cannmom - pretty kit - love the aquas! Great layout - looks like a grand adventure! joblackford - well done with selfcare! Just finished up a zoom meeting - my county extension office is doing a 10-week walking program and this was the introduction (it officially starts Monday) - if it gets me more active, that would be super Now to make a masculine card for the card challenge - no recipients in mind as DH is the oldest male in our family and I'm not quite sure how appeciative he would be of being considered a mature gentleman, lol

I am back from a longer than planned trip into town. I knew dh would be gone most of the day today helping his nephew with the cows, so I was soooo looking forward to having the house to myself, scrapping away... Nope. Didn't happen. I needed to go to town for a few grocery essentials and dh asked me to pick up an on line order for him from the farm supply store which is another 30 minutes one way. I agreed b/c I knew he had another order waiting for him at a different place in the same town. Well the one order was waiting for me when I arrived. The farm supply store did not have the order ready for pick up and had no one on staff today to get it ready, so although head office had notified dh that it was available, I couldn't get it. So a wasted couple of hours for nothing (I could have picked up the Purolator package at any time in the month of May, so didn't need to go at all...) Good news is that I picked up the mail and my March/April kits from a LSS in Edmonton have FINALLY found their way to my mailbox. Not her fault. Lots of problems with timely deliveries of HER orders. But every time I pick up one of those pizza boxes, it is like Christmas. Merry SiNSD to ME! Wow! Loving what I have been seeing here! Lots of creative energy. Linda , I love your takes on the three sketches. You are such a whiz at matching colours! And I envy your supply of basic pp/cs patterns. Seems like I never can find the one that matches perfectly. cannmom , your kit has lovely colours & patterns, and your page with it is AWESOME! I think I will use YOUR page as my model when I take on Sketch #2. I like that the weight can be shifted to the bottom of the page with your design. FUN photos BTW! Love your title! Yay on getting the mammo over with, joblackford . If they followed up with ultrasound, then it sounds like you really DO have an ALL CLEAR! I always hate the days after the test, waiting for that phone call that might come...

Hey all! I "snuck" over here, (I really have another hour and a half of work today) but wanted to say hi and that I am looking forward to scrapping as much as I can! I am hoping to finish up my mother's day card tonight, it was *supposed* to be a simple gatefold card, but ehhhhh....those folds always throw me for a loop.

Thanks for the all the work you've all put in to make this happen. It's a cold and wet day today and forecast is for much of the same so I'm looking forward to making some pages. It's perfect weather here for us to stay in and scrap all weekend, isn't it Chinagirl828 ? How bloody cold is it?! I cannot think of more perfect weather for this weekend! DH and I planned to walk yesterday as usual, but late morning I stepped outside, promptly came back in and finished my work day in my ugg boots.

@kendramage , glad you got a moment to come visit. I hope you can finish you card tonight. Gatefolds always make me nervous. I measure and score, but often they are jut a little off. teacherlisa , I hope you get your photos soon. I wish I had ordered some. I have tons, but new photos always make me more creative. Linda , you are really moving along. You did a great job of changing the #2 and #3 sketch to 8.5x11. I will have to follow your lead. Nicely done! cannmom , I love the colors in your kit and your layout turned out beautiful. I love the masculine look of the stars and arrows with those colors. The ride, however, doesn’t look as fun! grammadee , I left love in the gallery. I could see right away that you used KikiPea for inspiration. joblackford , I just took care of that same self care just before we were quarantined. Nice to have it done. Waving to kitbop and msliz and Chinagirl828. This layout is for the 4-25-20 Sketch Challenge. I think I will use this again. 50-20 by Nylene Budge, on Flickr

Okay, back with one more page, but I think that will be it for me for the day. Lost the creative flow when I had to run those errands, and right now my mind is mush and my neck is stiff. Am I ever out of scrappy shape if two pages in one day will play me out! Will come back and chat after I have supper started... Anyway, this page uses the kit I put together this morning and the Sketch #1 for today. Turned the sketch on its side, placed the background pp and the photo, and then the page kinda got away on me, but I DID start with that sketch! Hello Hawaii by Gramma Dee, on Flickr

Hi! I was planning on some scrapping today, but got a bit caught up on cooking - I may ditch the family movie night and get a head start. . I have found myself ordering some scrapping things which I don't normally do online. Paper Trey Ink has had some great clearance deals and I have been throwing in something with my necessary Amazon orders.

grammadee - LOVE the colours on that layout - so bright and tropical! Sorry that errand-running ruined your creative time hopefully you'll be back up to speed tomorrow. @bdhardy -cooking is needful - hopefully you find the scrappy time soon too. Took a picture of my Disney kit - hopefully I can make some pages with it - all OLD OLD OLD supplies from over a decade ago. going to try and sneak in another page or two before dinner. We're ordering pizza as a treat for DD13 who is finished with her 3-month gluten-free trial. It is the food she missed the most - we'll have to see how she does back on gluten but it looks like we'll be starting a corn-free trial soon...one day we'll figure out her GI issues.

Now to make a masculine card for the card challenge - no recipients in mind as DH is the oldest male in our family and I'm not quite sure how appeciative he would be of being considered a mature gentleman, lol Haha, I think my original intention was for the card to be for any man old enough to have kids or grandkids, but if your DH doesn't think of himself as mature... or as a gentleman... ? it can be our little secret! lol. grammadee luckily right now there's no wait for results. I missed my annual screening because of the lockdown, and requested this check because of a specific lump. The doctor saw me next day, the mammo next morning with the ultrasound and diagnosis right afterwards - while I waited. They're usually pretty good about giving me a diagnosis while I wait (this is a regular occurrence for me, sigh, they call my boobs "lump factories" - the tech actually said "you could hide a box of kittens in there!" ?!) but they're even better right now because there's no routine screening people waiting in line. Anyway... I started printing! But I'm so out of practice doing paper memory keeping...

msliz - yay - looking forward to seeing them! justjac - hope you can pop in now and then but wherever you're creating, I'm sure it'll be awesome! joblackford -I'm glad that you were able to get right in and be reassured. Good luck with the paper memory keeping Dh is like a big kid...all about his Lego and online tank game

joblackford, "a box of kittens", huh? LOL, That really struck me funny. I needed a good laugh today. It's nice to see more people joining in. I hope we get even more tomorrow! Linda, that brown plaid is so pretty with your blues. That makes a nice card! justjac and msliz, I hope you are posting in the gallery so we can see your work. This layout started with Sketch 1 and went off in its own direction. It seems that I either follow to a T or they take off on their own and never look like the sketch again. Ginger Snaps

I cannot think of more perfect weather for this weekend! DH and I planned to walk yesterday as usual, but late morning I stepped outside, promptly came back in and finished my work day in my ugg boots. We've actually had 70 degree weather for the last few days!! My son has had issues following rules outside, so we've briefly been in the backyard. Anyway, it will make it easy to scrap.

Linda I love the little cart on the Disneyland page Love the rain page layout and had to laugh a little that Coach Sweat is her PE teacher. I like that you documented the cards you made! You have such a great, clean simple style that makes the photos shine! grammadee , left you praise in the gallery.
cannmom I absolutley LOVE the color combinations you used and that pattern paper background is perfect! nylene left you praise in the gallery.

After some issues with my phone trying to take a photo, I have my first challenge done! I used sketch #1 for my layout. I switched the location of the title with the journaling and extended the horizontal block that runs under the photo.

Nope, Ryann, that is a scrap of a page in a Recollections watercolour paper pad. Some had foiled accents and some just the colours. I am loving how they coordinate with the Vicki Boutin papers!

Holy moly! Y'all are busy! Everything looks so good! I spent the day doing all the things so I can do all the cropping the rest of the weekend! Laundry is done... mowing is done...grocery shopping is done(since we've been on restriction I go out once a week on Friday mornings)...I got myself a little treat(Hershey bar) to help me get my mojo flowing tomorrow! We order out on Saturdays so I don't even have to cook! I do have a couple of little things to do first thing in the morning but then I'm unavailable for anything but scrapbooking!! Woohoo!
