iNSD DOUBLE DUTY CHALLENGE simple, but that's the kind of seamstress I am, lol! Making these masks almost killed me, but I didn't give up, and i finally completed masks for my kids to wear if I ever let them leave the house again, lol!

Wow! So much creativity!
I am WAAAY behind in comments. Will have to go back to see where I left off.
And what a blast! I completed 13 pages in three days--more than for the whole month of April!

I think I covered all of the iNSD challenges. This card is for the Saturday #5 challenge. My three C's are Caution, Call, and Colouring! There are 19 little ghosts. I made this with a Kindred Stamps kit.
Call Me This one is for Sunday Challenge #1 { KikiPea's sketch) and #5 my own holiday. I am going to have to spend all of this week commenting on all your amazing projects. Thanks so much to kitbop for the challenges and to msliz and all her hosts for the Google Hangouts.

I got two last things done. Saturday’s sketch and I used my kit. I have never done that before - make my own kit to work from. It worked great! Thanks for that challenge! And a card from yesterday’s card challenge. I chose to scraplift the example because I knew I had a similar PL card laying around and extra points!! 😀 My phone isn’t not playing well with the app so I will upload the photos later and catch up on comments.
But thanks so much to the ladies that organized! I was a great weekend!!

I don't think I have ever accomplished this much in a 3 day period. I have 2 more to post if I can get them finished. I think I have caught all the projects up to page 8. Linda , I love the way you used the sketch for your Splash Mountain page. That design is so appropriate for that ride. I really like the way you added the little squares to the Disney train page. The images in them are perfect for your trip.~Your Empty Shelves page is perfect for this crazy time. I haven’t yet documented it, but I love the shopping cart and the photo of you in mask. I hope it won’t be forever! ~ Your Covid 19 pages are wonderful. I love the color in your timeline.~ I love the Outdoor School. After days and days of being in the house I’m sure it felt good to get some sunshine!~ Great job on the park closure. I get sad as I drive by empty parks and schools and ball fields. (Sigh)~ Your layout, Scott, is a wonderful tribute to your husband! KikiPea , your photo of the blue bird is beautiful. I love all your tucked in floral clusters and the bright butterfly that picks up the color of the bird. Very pretty page.~ *Shannon , your double pager is fabulous. Those are such wonderful photos of a beautiful girl and a beautiful dog. I love the sunburst paper and the flower and tie. You do great digi work. I wish I knew how to do that. @bdhardy, I love your cards. I especially love all your cute critters. You did a great job coloring them. Your page kit looks so bright and fun. Adding the cartridges to it was a great idea. Your cards from that kit are wonderful. I love the little bird house, the home and the gate. Great cut job for these cards. lynnek , I love your golf page. I love the whimsical look of the big flowers, the clouds and the sun. That’s a great photo family photo. What fun to play in the dark. My brother plays in the snow every year on Christmas Day. Crazy golfers...I’m married to one who is a Golf Course Superintendent! I wanted to thank you for your comments on my page about Alex choosing a pen. It’s even more special because my DH is legally blind and can still make those pens. We don’t know how long he will be able to do that. His Macula is degenerating more each month. I will try to get the rest of page 8 and 9 tomorrow.

ABCreations, Can you tell me how you inserted the iNSD badge in your signature? I have the badge ready to go and have been knocking around my profile, but can't figure it out.
Oops, apparently I missed something upthread. I'll look!
Got it! Thank you for the short urls, ABCreations.
Another question if anyone sees this and knows... why are Pea names with capitals not being translated into tags? I wrote @abcreations in my original post, but it came through as @abcreations and wasn't a tag. Hmmmm???

I lied. I didn't do the 6 cards. I finished up nov 2019 by doing thanksgiving. Which also allowed me to print the 3x4 last picture that was missing from the middle of the March layout. Now I might be too tired to tackle something new to me like foiling. Well, at least new to doing it at home, that is the kind of thing i would do at a class at the store. But instead it had to be a kit. Thanks2019 by d steck, on Flickr

I have to admit, I haven't done ANY of the challenge assignments!! BUT, I DID finish an album that I have been working on for a little while now, and I have a great start on printing pics for my big 3 album project (my DDs Make a Wish trip to NYC). I ran out of ink though, so I have to wait for that to be delivered to finish printing. LOL
I also was able to clean up from the last project and get things organized to get the NYC books started!
VERY SUCCESSFUL/PRODUCTIVE weekend!!!
Thank you for setting this all up, and THANK YOU for those who were in and out and able to chat on the google hangouts! It was SO fun to put names with faces and to see a little glimpse of your scrappy lives!!!

Another question if anyone sees this and knows... why are Pea names with capitals not being translated into tags? I wrote @abcreations in my original post, but it came through as @abcreations and wasn't a tag. Hmmmm??? it's not because of the capitals - it's because her actual user name is different from her screen name - as is my own. To tag abcreations you need @ sleepingbeautie (and to tag me you need @ homeschoolmum) - if you hover over a screen name it'll show the tag name(user name)

This is what was going to be a card... ended up making an 8x10 that I'll have printed at Costco and will mail to my mom. She is less than 2 miles away from me in a memory care facility, but obviously can't have visitors and they don't allow drop offs other than necessary items for patient's care. I should double check that though, a lot of people are going to want to drop things off for their moms. I hope to get another layout done tonight - we shall see, it's almost 9:30!?? P.S. Costco still isn't printing for pick-up. I was able to send it to Walgreens.

This one was supposed to have triangles to meet Sunday's iNSD challenge #4 but it didn't want triangles This one was more cooperative and meets Sunday's #4 challenge And I'm hoping this card meets Sunday's iNSD challenge #5 - make a card to celebrate someone in your life who needs a lift -I made it for my sister, who with my BIL, runs a family-owned nursing home and has been working long, stressful hours. And with that, I've completed ALL of the iNSD challenges this weekend! Woohoo! 21 layouts and 5 cards if I'm counting correctly! Thank you to all the organisers and everyone playing along! It's been fun!

I got a few pages (mostly) done! This is the other half of the last spread I shared yesterday. It was originally going to be more about quarantine shopping like the facing page but I decided the photos of missing hand sanitizer I took didn’t add much to the page and there was a LOT of stuff going on in that week that I had to fit in somehow. So it got wordy. I might embellish later. iNSD2020 virus diaries pages by jo.blackford, on Flickr This page is a work in progress. It’s the week with the most emotional content and needs private journaling (I will tuck that behind the screenshot in the pocket) and I’ll probably add some captions that are visible. I’m not sure if I’ll like the washi tape better once I add more. The library pocket was an ugly dull yellow so I ink blended some twisted citron over it to make it brighter. The page needs a lot more but I thought I’d share anyway... iNSD2020 virus diaries pages by jo.blackford, on Flickr This last spread about shopping was a slog but I’m fairly happy with it. Trying to remember that the more I do the more I’ll like the whole thing even if some pages aren’t so great. I decided it was too much trouble to print a shopping cart icon so I drew one instead - wished I’d put it a little lower but it was an easy way to fill that awkward gap. iNSD2020 virus diaries pages by jo.blackford, on Flickr Sorry I ran out of time to chat today, between crafting and baking and cooking dinner I ran out of time and energy. I made a berry-rhubarb oat crisp and chicken tamale pie, both new recipes, both quite tasty!
