jjpeapea, your cards are so cute. I love all your ocean themed stamps. The nautical flags down the side were a great idea. My favorite is that little crab. So cute.

nylene - What a beautiful card for your friend. I have been on the lookout for a big floral stamp like that, that you can just emboss and it is beautiful and done! Who makes that stamp? The stamp is Hero Arts. It was on clearance at JoAnn's so I don't know if it's still available.

Linda , that little song reminds me of Ring Around the Rosies. Thanks for sharing. That's a great page. justjac , where did you find the free printables? I must have missed those while I was sick. I tried a search but that doesn't seem to work on this site. nylene I see you were already tagged in the printables thread. I used the Cocoa Daisy ones.

AussieMeg I once saw someone talking about being caught up in scrapbooking and she said, she hopes that she is never caught up and can scrapbook some of her children's baby photos when she is 90. It seems like that is your philosophy too. I love how you go back and forth in time in your scrapbooking. Thanks for your kind words Lynne. Regarding scrapping old photos, for me it's mainly because I changed from paper scrapping to digital scrapping, so I am re-doing a lot of pages. Also, there was a gap of several years between paper and digital, which allowed the photos to build up! I love being able to go back and scrap old photos when my kids were little. But by the same token, I'd like to get at least one year completed so I can actually print out a book of layouts!

Well, yes, I didn't think about that in digital, if you do a book you can't just add pages in later, so I can imagine it will be nice to get a year done at some point. LOL!

Okay. Time to leave some love... Starting on Page ONE: What a cool Coronavirus page, Linda . That revamped nursery rhyme is priceless. Awesome that you preserved it. I love the artsy background to the poem as well. jjpeapea , you may have been inspired by others, but your take on these cards is delightful! Love the bold colours, the interesting icons and shapes, EVERYTHING about them! TFS. The rest of page one I think I caught on Flickr. On to PAGE TWO: Linda, I love that you are taking on the SCT challenges! And wonderful pages you are making with them! The rocky pp and bird diecuts against the blue are wonderful backgrounds for your Ocean Drive page. And the quilt like squares are PERFECT for the sewn masks photo! I have printed off their sample, but anything I do with it would not be nearly as spot on with the topic as yours is! Did you submit it to them? Love the pink/grey LO, too. Good to see you on one of your pages, making the cards. Great 2pager about your crafting. Your book about the pandemic is going to be EPIC!

I had to restock my shop with kitty cat cards so after I chopped up 3 sheets of paper to make 3 sets of 6 cards I was able to make another couple of my kitty scrap cards to add to my donation box. I cut the papers differently this time so I had some varied sizes of scraps which I like. May cards - restock and scraps by jo.blackford, on Flickr

Those kitty cards are adorable, joblackford! AussieMeg , i am planning to lift your lift! Got it printed and propped up behind my desk with other sketches and plans for this month. Great takes on that sketch, KikiPea ! Love the flower clusters. And it's great to see how different the sketch looks with different photos and backgrounds. BTW what IS that sunrise/sunset background? Beautiful backdrop for your beautiful photos.

Beautiful backdrop for your beautiful photos. Thanks! I knew someone would ask. I should have saved the branding strip. I looked all over Google and can’t find it, but I’m pretty sure the left side is Sandylion. The right side is from Bo Bunny Beach Therapy.

I gave myself another day to work on my virus diaries today. This page was relatively easy and enjoyable with nice colors although I took a while to figure out the stamping on the right side. I used some Pink Paislee Bloom St leftovers which gave it a funnier, prettier vibe. May virus diaries pages by jo.blackford, on Flickr This page was where everything escalated very quickly. I decided to go very text heavy and found a Shimelle journaling pad paper that worked perfectly. I cut the little strip of dots from in between the two columns and added them horizontally between the photos. I’m hoping the journaling will make sense in the future - I had to cut myself off at times to fit it all in. May virus diaries pages by jo.blackford, on Flickr This page was going to include a different element on the far right where the “misinformation” journaling is. I decided it needed to be in the next page to properly tell the story so I removed it, and then I edited myself as I journaled about misinformation because that needs it’s own full page too! The screenshot of all the news (top left) was one of the first things I saved for this project. The long journaling isn’t the greatest but I thought I should actually explain what the heck this is all about - info paraphrased from the CDC. I knew I wanted to use that “facts not fear” phrase because it was on the news so much. Just realized I need to add something to the doctor’s office note on the right because I just realized it might look like I’m calling that misinformation/might not be clear why it’s there. May virus diaries pages by jo.blackford, on Flickr I spent most of the day working but I’m really proud of myself for stopping and TIDYING everything! I make a big mess when I paper scrap and then it drives me nuts. So I feel very accomplished, taking a few minutes to put everything away and share. Tidied up! by jo.blackford, on Flickr

Here is the LO that has been on my counter--and on my mind--for DAYS! I started by collecting cs and papers and extras that worked with SCT's colour challenge from iNSD. Had the photos I wanted to use here. But somehow I couldn't figure out quite how to put the whole thing together. This morning I woke up with a new plan, and ta da... Family in Paradise by Gramma Dee, on Flickr I had wanted to pay homage to KikiPea 's LO with the fallen rays, but mine wanted to spread out behind the photo in a more traditional look. This morning I just let that happen. The two other things that made it work this morning was cutting that yellow piece into a circle, and creating a new background for the title letters, using inks instead of paints. POINTS: two pages created & shared (4). Challenges: #1 two photos for Donna challenge (2), #5 banners (1), #6 flower diecuts & stickers (2), pp (1), #7 two fonts in title (1), #fussy cutting (2), #16 diecut title words (2), #17 new VB (2), #18 five pp on first page (5), two on second (1), #23 inked edges (2), #24 bling (2). Total: 27
