Those cards are lovely, joblackford. Nobody does happy colours like Doodlebug! And I love the way you offset the mat and the focal card. These will definitely brighten someone's day!

I took this photo on Sunday. We had a socially distanced picnic in my parent’s backyard. I’ve seen them about 4 times over the last 60 days delivering their groceries. It was nice to actually sit and chat for a bit. We haven’t done this since Christmas. We all needed it!

Linda, I am impressed with your challenges in the SCT magazine. Love the mask page! I especially love the one of your making cards for the nursing home. It’s fun to see YOU. Your GS pages are so informative. I love that they can get together virtually. grammadee, joblackford, I caught you in the gallery. KikiPea, I love your Hawaii layouts. I still haven’t done ours from 2017. I am taking notes on yours. I am always so impressed with your clusters. I love your Mother’s Day page. That background is fabulous. Sorry you had to social distance. lynnek, your cards are beautiful. What perfect dies to use for Mother’s Day cards. I love the Polaroid frames and all the cute photos. I was enjoying all the projects in the gallery when it suddenly went down! I'll come back later and try again.

Here is a two pager I have been working on since last Saturday. Decided to take on my own collage challenge for the left page and finally figured out how to lay out and cut a welded outline shape on Silhouette. Had lots of fun with stencils and paint on the right hand page, and even used some transfer gel and foiling. Loved that photo of their feet from the first time I saw it, and wanted to figure out a way to showcase it properly. Hope this did the trick. born to Wander by Gramma Dee, on Flickr Points: Two pages created & shared: (4). #1 eight photos for Donna challenge (8), #6 flowers diecuts, stickers, stamping (5), #12 stencil (1), #16 diecutting (1), #17 new papers (2), #18 patterned papers (2), #21 twine (1), #22 texture paste and corrugated cardboard (2), #23 ink (2), #24 gems (2), #31 cut collage on a project (15), Total: 46

I've been working with some new stamps and finally got one card looking good enough to show off. That interior alphabet stamping is not sustainable - so frustrating and time consuming to do! I want to make several more of these cards so I'm going to switch to printing something from my computer... But the joke is good, right? For Father's Day May card - GOAT by jo.blackford, on Flickr

I made a couple of pages in my virus diaries today. This one compares the alerts from the NZ government to what we got in the USA. The CDC postcard flips up to reveal some journaling about the US pandemic response. The right side of the page has a photo from anniefb that I snagged from Instagram and I typed up the proverb that she shared in her caption. She lives near my old home so her photo made me sad at the time because I was supposed to be there. I juxtaposed that with the actual view I had from my current home. The lower photo is a bit oddly shaped because I stuck two photos together to make a panorama. May virus diaries by jo.blackford, on Flickr The second spread I was thinking about staying home vs staying inside. I still need to add some more journaling to another page about how I was feeling about indoors/outdoors and gardening. I use some small pieces from Shimelle’s Sparkle City journaling pad. It bothers me a little because I walk everywhere - I don’t drive! I think I need to add dates to some of the other photos but that BH date stamp drives me insane. It always messes up and looks like crap so I have to stamp on a sticker and cover it up. May virus diaries by jo.blackford, on Flickr Making progress, little by little...

I made a card! This is for a coworker who goes above and beyond in her support for our physio group at the hospital. We wanted to give her a shout-out and of course I wanted to make the card. outside: Boat Card by kirstendrew, on Flickr inside: boat card inside by kirstendrew, on Flickr And I finished the layout I started last Saturday. gramma - I love the layers and matting in all your photos, and how you mix it up with diagonals, panels, banners etc. Your sentiments are so perfect, and I loved hearing how you make theem in bulk and look so perfect! What amazing detail in your "paint" layout - the die cuts steal the show! I also love the different colour of matting you chose, it really keeps the eye moving and adds pop to the photos. "Just us girls" is fab. I struggle with background paper like that because I over-busy my layout; you chose large large elements (like the title and the vertical right curved/cut edge) and it's perfect, and lets the pp do it's work! KikiPea, That photo block is amazing! It must have taken a while to figure out. Also love that title with the mixed colours and fonts. I made another card last night. A Funny: I made the boat card above for Joan, our amazing rock at work. Well, she e-mailed me yesterday asking me to make a card for ANOTHER coworker to say "thinking of you". She is so thoughtful and keeps us together. I made this and what I really like about it is how quick it is and reproducible/generic! card hello for Sue by kirstendrew, on Flickr

This LO is for a sketch challenge at The Lilypad. I used the 'The Rain is Gone' kit by Kim Jensen. The story behind the photo is that one of the Peas on the old board had a son who loved The Wiggles. My daughter had outgrown them, so I sent DD's Henry toy to the Pea's son. Unfortunately I can't remember which Pea it was, so I wasn't able to include it in the journaling. I don't even know if she made it here to the new board. I wish I could remember!

I appreciate everyone who shared their creativity and work! grammadee, your birthday cards are so diimensional and I alway love bee themed work. And I am mad for the filled in letters in HIKE. joblackford, you have been so busy! I can tell you are in a summery mood with your bright and cheerful colors. Your goat card made me laugh, sorry if that was not the intention. I bet your dad loves it. KikiPea such sweet sentiment for your visit with your parents. So glad you got to spend time with them. As for Hawaii, I'll talk about that later. nylene, your cupcake card is so crisp and professional. I get stuck in a rut and it doesn't occur to me to make a unique length, so I am going to keep that in mind for future cards. kitbop I love the textures, colors and vibrancy of your cards and page. gramma I love the funny paint page, your title and complete story. I've been on a card making binge too. As for all of the Hawaii and sea themed pages, you guys are killin' me. I haven't been to the beach in years and I am sooo longing for sun, sand and surf. For now I will have to settle for "Alexa, play ocean sounds."

I was playing with mixed media last night to make my other card, so I tried this line of stamped images that I saw Missy Whiddon do in one of her layouts. I think I'd use plain cardstock with gesso next time. This is watercolour paper, so while it's nice not to get warping of the paper, the ink didn't run as easily. The centre die cut portions of "you" are raised on 3 more layers of the die cut letters, so it stands out more IRL. I'm celebrating that I made another card card thinking of you by kirstendrew, on Flickr

I found a stash of card fronts that I had put away - I ran out of steam on them a while back, so it was an easy win to cut some sentiments and get them finished. I needed something more for the plainer ones so I grabbed some pre-colored die cut images out of my binder. I think I’ve finally used up all of my Shimelle Starshine paper pad. Just realized I used the same title on two different pages. Oops! Luckily, they aren’t too close together in the book. Since we’re just about the only ones who will ever look at it no one will really notice but me. 🤪 It’s ok. I actually one photo twice, too. Ah well!

This LO is for the Sketchy Saturday May 16 challenge. I used the 'Boy Zone' kit by Bella Gypsy. The photos are of my son and nephew, who used to always pull silly faces whenever I wanted to take their photo. I usually let them pull faces for a while, on the proviso that they please let me take "just one good photo". It appears that on this day I got silly photos, but no good ones!
