I'm sad for Shimelle but also hopeful that this may give her the opportunity for something bigger and better - who knows who may snatch her up or what she may decide to develop for herself in the future.

Shimelle helped me find my scrapbook style. I loved B-Sides of paper (hence my name) and while I typically I avoid all pinks and purples the way her collections paired them with greens and blues I found myself using them.
I haven't bought any supplies this year aside from my subscriptions, but I went and ordered Never Grow Up from Joann and picked it up yesterday and will try and do something with it this weekend.

She mentioned on a live that she probably won't be doing another collection soon since she is not interested in trying to manufacture it herself, in addition, having WB at home has made time for designing hard to come by. Regarding stamps she has had a lot of issues with her local post office so wants that to be cleared up before committing to mailing product again.

One other tidbit from a recent Live session was that she's going to try to get scrapbook dot com to buy up some of her old collections that are gathering dust in AC's warehouse. She knows there's tons of stock and there seems to be demand among her fans. I think she's got a good shot of getting SB.com to test the waters with a small order since their BOBW kit relationship seems to be quite successful so far. It would be awesome to release some old Shimelle from the vault! I hate to think of the waste of having it stockpiled and not selling.
