Happy Sunday! It is a beautiful sunny day and I enjoyed being out there for a little while. This is my dh's last day at home. Tomorrow he returns to the office and no more working from home. I am glad cause this means things are getting back to normal. BUT, I am a little sad because I enjoyed seeing him throughout the day and having him already home for dinner. Although, I was upset about the quarantine I was glad he got some rest from the hour each way commute to work. So I hope his adjustment back to work will be fairly smooth. I got some good new! I shared my new video and blog post with Mark Montano. He is an arts and crafts talk show host, author and amazing DIYer. I have enjoyed watching his videos for a few years and amazed by his creativity. Well, he responded back. He gave me a shout out on his Facebook pages and wants to help me get more subscribers. Also, he wants me to stay in touch with him. I didn't expect anything and boy was I surprised. He is not only talented but so kind and generous. Check out his facebook page (Mark Montano) to see the mention of me. LisaDV- I want to scrap with you early birds so I can meet you. I will see what I can do one of these times. joyfulnana- Yes, I have had a YT channel for a while but I am new to doing tutorials. I will be doing regular videos. I hope you can visit when you can. Also, good seeing ya! Waving hi to you all and have a restful evening!

Good news about Covid exposure. DH's worker and his brother, who works on the G.C.also, have tested negative for the virus. They have been living with a brother who is positive. He has moved out to self-isolate. DH is not going to work for at least 2 weeks and will then reevaluate. He may not go back at all this season. We told Em and the kids to stay away and I miss them. I guess I didn't realize how much I love having them drop by just long enough to bring groceries or a package. Ashley works at Jamba and brings us smoothies occasionally on her way home. I definitely miss that cold fruity treat. joyfulnana , I'm glad you got time with Rudy. That's hard to work so many hours. I hope having him around made you a different kind of "tired". LOL. Do you expect the long hours to continue? Our roads are filled with RV's, boats and jet skis, especially on weekends. Take good care of yourself! kellyr21 , congrats on getting a shout out from a crafter you admire. I will go check out his work. I have enjoyed your mini album videos. I especially loved seeing you on the Hangouts Sat. night. I hoped to get on Sunday a.m. but spent the day reading to DH. Does it cool off enough in the early mornings and evenings to take a walk where you live. We have really enjoyed doing that, but we get quite cool when the sun goes down. Keep up the great scrapping! Linda , you have been a busy little beaver this month. It's great to see you scrapping and enjoying it. grammadee , I'm sure I have just overlooked it, but I don't know about points for the CIJ challenges. Is there a point for each of the three prompts each day, or are they just for prompting our scrapping? How are you feeling? Have you had to be pretty careful in what you eat? LisaDV , I hope to get on the Hangouts when you and joyfulnana are on. I have loved getting to know our Pokeys face to face. I have also learned all kinds of techniques from everyone. I'll try again next week. I did some scrapping last night and hope to finish it up before the end of the CIJ. Have a great week, everyone.

It was great seeing ya too and hope to have many more hangout visits soon. Thanks for the cheers, too! You are amazing my friend! Waving hi to you all and have a good rest of your day!

Yay for good news, nylene ! What a scare! Loved seeing people on Hangouts, as well. Really hoping we can continue to interact this way. The points for CIJ are outlined in Challenges #2 and 11 in the Team challenges. There were 21 prompts, worth one point each. If you met them all, then a bonus of 50 points. And ALL points earned June 8th to 14th are worth double. Christmas projects done during that week worth double that again. I have been pretty careful about what I eat, so my gall bladder has been behaving. And I lost quite a bit of weight from my careful eating, so my knees have been behaving as well. Having a bit of back pain today, but I think it is from moving some heavy panels in the garden yesterday. (It COULDN'T be from scrapbooking, although it bothers me to bend over the scrap counter today...) Congrats on your feedback on your YouTube adventures, kellyr21 ! Have loved seeing your pages and other projects here. Speaking of pages and projects, Linda is B-A-C-K! What alot of fun pages and cool cards for CIJ! At this rate, kitbop and joyfulnana will have to BID for you to be on their teams! joyfulnana , I hope you get some down time, soon. Bet you and Rudy enjoyed your weekend!

Wonderful news nylene -I'm sure you breathed a BIG sigh of relief. grammadee - glad that the gallbladder is behaving - and the knees also. Hope the back feels better soon. kellyr21 - how exciting to get recognised like that = pretty cool! Thanks grammadee - the crops are awesome for motivating me. Hopefully I can keep it up the rest of the summer - my scrapbook table is rather backlogged. Just about to post the first of the November 2018 layouts - I'm aiming to finish November this week (which'll finish the 2018 album). I spent most of the day cleaning my house - it was feeling a bit neglected after the week-long crop Thankfully dinner cooked itself in the slow cooker tonight so I did get a little scrappy time - hoping to get one more layout done tonight but I need to fit in my walk also.

Thanks for the b-day wishes! I had a good day. I normally go see a movie and have dinner at my favorite restaurant. The movie theaters aren't open but not sure I would want to do that with everything. I decided to go kayaking instead! I still got to go to my favorite restaurant as carry out. We enjoyed it at home. I got my free drink from Starbucks. My husband seemed to think I should of done more but I was happy with what I choose. I could have kayaked all day! He is always chicken and never goes as far as I do. He was waiting for me in the parking lot when I returned. I have been video chatting with a friend when we have time. We were video chatting Sunday and I was a bit warm in my bonus room. She thanked me for being a trooper in the warm temps! It was about 84-88 degrees in my room. I had my Dyson fan blowing on me which helped. Monday, I decided to use my Lowe's gift card and got me a portable a/c. I got it all connect last night and got it nice and cool! My friend and I need to video chat again. I have been busy today cleaning and organizing. I also got me new blinds for the kitchen and dining room. I got the ones in the kitchen hung but decided to wait on the dining room. I need to go back and get one more for the bathroom. I plan to work on this more tomorrow. My sister just recently moved into a new house that is part of a HOA that has a pool. She has invited me to go swimming on Wednesday evening. I am looking forward to see my sister and swim. nylene, that is scary! I think he is doing the right thing by self-quarantining for a couple of weeks. Stay safe! kellyr21, that is exciting news! I will have to check that artist out on FB.

Glad you had a good birthday, knutschen! My dd & her family kayak. She brought one here to the farm a couple of weeks ago and is bringing the other this week. She is hoping to take the little guy out on a local lake one day when they are here and then to treat Grampa to a weaner roast for Fathers' Day. And I am hoping to get some summer activity photos! We may not go Sunday as that will be crazy busy out there for Fathers' Day, but one day while they are here. I am making progress on getting pages printed for dgd's grad album. Took a bunch (up to 2014) to the printer this morning. Will have to make another trip to take in the rest, but by then they should have the first ones printed and I can bring them home and start inserting them into page protectors. Her mom texted me some grad photos this evening and has promised me more for tomorrow, so I can finish her book with her grad photos. (And I want to use a family grad photo for the June calendar as well) I think the garden will be finally dry enough to do some work in it by tomorrow, so if you don't hear from me, I will be buried in a pile of weeds out there, or lost in a jungle of them looking for my plants...

good job making progress on the grad album grammadee - that's a huge project (as is putting all those pages back away). Good luck with the garden. I've been making decent progress on November 2018 - i'm up to Thanksgiving now so should be able to finish tomorrow if all goes well and then scan the pages (Nov and Dec) and put in an album. It'll be nice to tick an album off the to-do list It was cooler tonight for my evening walk - only 70 and not too humid which was the real treat. Went out for an hour from about 930-1040

Good Thursday morning Pokeys. It is a sunny morning here after a gloomy day yesterday. We did manage to do some things in the garden, but I spent most of the day extricating more pages for dgd's book. I am now up to Winter 2018-19, so not that far to go...
And ddil sent me a batch of photos yesterday and the day before: grad in her cap and gown at home, and her official grad photos. Then some family photos when they were dressed and ready to go in for the ceremony. Also her decorated mortarboard. (will share a pic of that in the Photo challenge thread) Got to watch her "walk across the stage" yesterday on live streaming. It was a sweet, intimate ceremony. They flashed up a huge grad portrait, called her name, and she walked across to the middle of the stage, stopped for what I assume will be a school photo, then went over to the left where her parents were at the end of the stage with her diploma and a rose. Hugs with them, turned for a photo, then off the stage. Ddil said she thinks the photos will be available from the school. I am hoping so, b/c the video was way too grainy to get any decent shots.
Today I have some things to do to get ready for dd & dgs, who will be here until after the weekend. I WANT to sneak in a trip to town to pick up the mail: I have not one but TWO packages. One is the May/June kit from Scrapbooking Fanatics. The other is an order of glue refills I ordered from Amazon. So I will have paper AND glue! And I am going to see what it will cost me to return my latest box from Simon Says. It is a duplicate of the April kit. They will refund if I return the kit, but I want to find out how much it will cost to mail. Might just decide to keep it. There may be some freebies available...

What a lovely ceremony grammadee - and it sounds like you're doing great getting that album ready for her. Hopefully you get to town - hard to know there are packages you can't play with. Woke up with a migraine this morning headed back to bed for several hours but it didn't go away, finally medicated (it's a last resort because the medication doesn't play well with my GERD or my kidneys) and it's mostly gone now but I still have the 'hangover' from it. Didn't get any scrapping done yesterday -spent the day doingfinancial stuff including PAYING OFF our house - YAY! It won't be official until it clears at the other end but... Hoping to get some scrappy time today

Happy Birthday today to joyfulnana ! We hope it is a great one.grammadee , your Graduation album sounds like lots of work, but what a wonderful memory for your DGD. Her graduation must have been very special. Ashley's was outside and only the graduate was allowed out of the car. It was scheduled for 1 minute apart to walk to the tent and receive the diploma. Em got a few photos so I will do what I can with them. I am glad your GB is behaving for you. You don't need more hospital visits. I hope you have a great time with family this weekend. Linda , I am sorry about your migraine. I hope you are feeling better. Mine seem to come on mainly after a period of stress or extreme busyness. I hope you get some scrapping time today. knutschen , your birthday sounds wonderful. I'm glad you were able to get a little air conditioner for your room. I'm sure that will make a big difference. It sounds like you are getting a lot of decorating done in your home. I'd love to see what you have done. LisaDV , have you been in the pool yet? We are still getting pretty chilly days a couple of times a week. We have had a lot of rain which has been good for the tomatoes and flowers. I vowed that I wouldn't go to the AC Warehouse sale but Em was going so I tagged along. I bought a couple of embellishments, a stencil and a pad of black and white paper. That was the extent of my purchases. It was not busy at all. Em loaded up on lots of colors of cardstock packs and a couple of paper pads. I think she will take her DD back to look at colored pencils and markers. I have a feeling that the warehouse will be open for quite a while. Maybe they are planning for it to always be open. I needed blades for my trimmer, but it seems they aren't making them anymore. Sigh!

Happy Thursday! I am hoping you all are having a great day so far. Here is my new video called, "My Traveler's Journal Tutorial." Link Here I am loving this style of journaling and hope to use more of my supplies that have been sitting around. I was thinking about adding a challenge on our challenge board. I don't think anyone is doing that, are they? joyfulnana - HAPPY BIRTHDAY! CELEBRATE AND EAT CAKE! LOL! I hope you are enjoying your day. grammadee - What a nice alternative ceremony she had. I am glad the schools have gotten creative with this. Kids deserve to be recognized. I hope your garden is ready for planting. linda - Take it easy and I hope you feel better soon. Our weather has been mild the last few days so I have gotten my walks in, too. nylene - What a fun shopping time you had. If I was there I would go with you and your dd, too. msliz- One day you asked to see inside my journal. That inspired me to do a video tutorial. I just did this planner video and I am working on an art journal tutorial next. I mentioned you on both of my blogs, too. Just a kind thanks to ya!

kellyr21, I have enjoyed all of your YT videos. I was really impressed with your traveler's notebook. I wish I had taken something like that with me on trips we took. I may use something like that to journal this crazy Covid time. Love those tiny albums. Thanks for answering my binding question.

Hello there! Man I miss this place. It feels like I haven't posted or scrapped in forever and it's only been a week lol! Thank you so much for the birthday wishes! LisaDV was that the banner you made for DH that you posted in the bday thread? I have to admit to never checking that thread out before, but I want to do that more often. I have just been working. Still the long hours, people are going crazy buying RVs! Everywhere in the whole industry is busy and out of product. I'm not sure how long these hours will be going on, hopefully only another week. I need my time back! I had no bday plans, usually dinner out and of course cake! lol. We celebrated it tonight with pizza and cake here. I still haven't been brave enough yet to go sit in a restaurant. I got some awesome hand drawn cards and big stuffed Nemo. Rudy said he wanted me to have it "in case I need a kid to hug" lol. He is sleeping over tonight and tomorrow night since he didn't get to stay two nights last weekend lol. So no video cropping for me this weekend. I will be so glad when things are back to normal as far as my schedule goes. nylene that's such good news about DH! Now to get through the self isolation. I hated that. I'm sorry you had to tell the kids to stay away again for now. kellyr21 that's awesome! What a huge compliment! I will try to make time this weekend to check out your channel. I don't have the mental energy to craft right now, but watching crafty videos would be a better substitute than shopping! LOl. Linda congratulations on paying off the house!! That's awesome!! grammadee I would be going crazy knowing I had packages waiting lol. The graduation sounds like it was sweet and and I hope you get lots of pics. I think the schools have done some pretty creative things to make sure the class of 2020 is celebrated. I hope everyone is having a good start to the weekend!

I am looking forward to it. joyfulnana- I am glad your birthday was good with pizza and cake! Wow, business has been busy for you. I hope you can get some rest this weekend too. My mojo is needing to be revived too. nylene- Thanks! I hope you try a journal and it would be fun on any trips you take. I ordered a few more supplies from Joann and Studio Calico and hope to have fun playing with them. Have a good weekend all!

Happy belated birthday, joyfulnana! How was your weekend with Rudy? Love your TN challenge, kellyr21. You are really doing some gorgeous journals, lately. Did any of you get together on Hangouts this weekend? We had pretty busy days around here with dd & dgs and when the days ended, I was exhausted! Did a little work in the garden; went to the lake for weiner roasts twice. The only crafts I did was working with dgs to create a Fathers' Day card for Grampa. He drew and coloured a bison. I will need to take a pic to share. Okay. Off to spend some time with family. Dd and dgs are here until after lunch, so need to get moving!

Happy Monday! I hope you all rested! I sure did! I pretty much did nothing over the weekend and today I feel a little tired but better. So today is Spring cleaning in Summer day! LOL! I hope to get a little done today and tomorrow. Now that my dh is back at the office full time, I have the whole place to myself to clean without interrupting his work. Waving hi to everyone! joyfulnana- Yes, it is a rabbit hole!!! I am mostly using supplies I have but I have updated my stash with more fun supplies. I just ordered for the first time from Studio Calico and looking forward to seeing how their items work with my TN. I got an order from Joann last week and I will share them here. grammadee- Thanks Dee! Since I don't have a lot of pictures to scrap, these TN give me a way to still play with my scrapbook supplies regularly. This industry comes out with so many ways for us to document our stories!!!!!!

Well, I'm back at work this week packing up my classroom for the summer and digitizing old records. Cases of Covid are quite low here, and the world is reopening (for now). All employees had to take a Covid test in order to return to work. It's weird to be back here. Especially only for four days.

justjac , I'm sure it's weird to be back for 4 days. Do you have any fun summer plans that can be done in the "Time of Covid?" I read in another thread that grammadee is going to the lake with family for kayaking. I think she's just planning to take photos. That sounds like such a great "out". I just took DH to a little hobby/woodworker's store to look at a shop dust collection system. The parking lot was packed and 2 of us in the store had masks...DH and I. Even the clerks don't bother anymore and yet our numbers are sky high for Covid. We did have a clerk help us who invited DH to his shop to see his homemade system in a couple of weeks. He has family there now, but wants to show it off. So the trip was very much worth our time. DH will be going back to work on Monday since none of the GC crew tested positive and he has stayed away for 2 weeks. They have done a lot of safety things and all employees are required to wear masks. I think he's going nuts at home. I bought a new die and used it to make 2 cards. They are a bit tiny and fiddly, but they were fun to do. This is for the Card Challenge. l kellyr21, I love your TN notebook and the challenge. It's fun to see what you are posting.

Happy Wednesday! Not much exciting things happening this week. Just recharging my batteries and Spring cleaning. I hope to get crafty this afternoon. I am planning another video for this weekend. I think I am gonna do a lo. We will see. I recorded several videos for my new art series over the last two weeks and none of them turned out right either because the lighting or something was off. So hope to try it again soon. But it is all a learning time for me and I am excited to be doing this. My fil has another camera for me so I can't wait to see it. justjac- Yes, so weird to go back to work for a few days just to be off again. But, it might feel nice to see everyone and be back at work. Fall will be here before you know it. I hope you all will be back in session then. nylene- Thanks for the praise! I have been loving all my creativity this year, too. But I gotta pace myself cause I definitely hit the wall last Friday! LOL! So that is why I am recharging myself and slowly getting back at it. I love your sweet little girl dies. So cute!!!!! Did you get them from the sale you and your dd went to?

Good Wednesday evening! Ya got me, nylene! I only went along to take photos! We actually spent two different days at the lake and two days gardening here. Dd left on Monday and yesterday we worked on the garden most of the day. Today dh needed me to pick up various orders for him, so I drove to a couple of farm supply stores and a hardware store. The hardware store had curbside pick up, but I needed to go into the other two. But I had minimum distanced contact with humans. Also got to print some photos, pick up a collection the LSS had on hold for me, and meet justjac and hubby for take out supper in their back yard. So it was a great day for me! I also helped that I spent so much time in my vehicle with its heated seats--sooo good on my sore back! Really hoping we get rain soon. Not just because our garden needs it, but b/c if it is raining, I can't be out weeding, so I can just hang out in the house and scrap!

I'm not seeing much masking here either? Any cases just keep growing. justjac - do you know what school will look like in the fall yet? LisaDV - hi and hugs Thinking of patin and sending prayers
