Happy weekend, Pokeys! Hope you all have a good one, whatever that means. Thinking of you, patin. Hoping that you have the supports you need and that you know we are all here for you as well. LisaDV, wish your dd a happy birthday from me. Wow! Hard to believe that little girl we have been seeing on your pages is already going to be 15! Hope you all have a wonderful day and that you at some point get some time to yourself. Good luck with your next video attempt, kellyr21. You did a great job on the last one, and every time you create one, you learn something, so that's a good thing. Did you get some crafty time? You deserve it after all that cleaning. That is a really cute die, nylene. I picked up a slimline card die at the LSS on Wednesday but have not tried it yet. It's great that your dh is still able to do woodworking and that he is still excited about innovations for his shop. We have been busy in the garden. Dh pointed out this evening that there are still two rows that need hand weeding, but I hope to put that off until at least Sunday. Tomorrow I want to take the last of the pages for dgd's grad album to the printer, and I will pick up some groceries on the way home. I scrapped today! Felt good. And I spent some time clearing off my scrap counter so there is at least room for my iPad for tomorrow's Hangout session. As I was whining about on another thread, I worked this afternoon/evening on separating layers in a couple of Silhouette files so I can put together a couple of layered titles for some pages I hope to put together tomorrow.

grammadee , I think when you get the hang of it, your Silhouette will be used often. I don't know how to scrap without it anymore. I look forward to Hangouts tonight. I will be working on some cards I want to take around to our Card Club members. It's just 2 empty chairs and the sentiment is Missing You! All but 2 live within walking distance, so I am planning on a little walk around the neighborhood. LisaDV , I am amazed that your DD is 15. It has been fun to watch her grow up. I hope you get a little time to yourself next month. I know you have been a busy mama. kellyr21 , one of these days I am going to get a TN and see what I can do with it. They may have some at the AC Warehouse. I have really enjoyed your videos and I'm not usually a video watcher. Keep up the good work. janesays , how has this month gone for you. It seems to have slipped by and yet I often feel time dragging. kitbop , how is your gardening doing? Will you be on Hangouts tonight? I hope work is going well for you and that you are staying safe. joyfulnana , how is Rudy doing? I love the layout you did of him this month. He is such a cutie. Alex has just lost his 2 front teeth and learned to ride a bike. He has not really had a desire to learn until just the other day. They found a bike and he hopped on and started riding. I told his mom it's like potty training; when they are ready they learn quickly. LOL msliz , I hope you are planning on Hangouts tonight. That is so sweet of you to set it up. Linda , I just noticed that you are over 7000 points this month. I think we need to make you a team of your own! You have really been busy with some great pages! knutschen , I hope work is going well for you and that you are safe. How big the is facility you work in? patin , I think of you every day. I hope you are doing well and that those around you are good support. Sending Hugs. justjac and gramma , will you be on the Hangouts tonight? I am planning on it unless DH gets bored and wants to watch a movie on Plex. My ipad is the only way to hook it up to the family room TV and I use the ipad for Hangouts. We need to get DH's ipad updated so he can do it on his. Our Church is starting back up tomorrow with 1/3 of the congregation each Sunday. We have been asked to stay at home and watch the feed since we are in "that group", as my kids say. That's really OK with me. All the over 65 people have been advised not to attend. I am surprised that we can see it from home. You know me and technology, it's all Greek to me.

nylene - lol - that week-long crop really helped points-wise. Our parish restarted public Mass last month with limited space - we haven't gone as I'm higher risk but I attend via livestream. I wonder with the HUGE increases in cases here in Florida if the Bishop will shut things down again. grammadee - yay for scrapping and working on those layered titles. I need to make better use of my Cricut - but the learning curve takes time and my to-do list is always very long. Grocery shopping and dropping off recycling this morning (I miss kerbside recycling - everywhere else I've lived since 1990 had kerbside but here doesn't - the town does but not the county). Almost no one except us were wearing masks - the employees were but I only saw a couple of other customers. Florida's cases are going through the roof but everyone seems to think we're back to normal. Scanning photo albums now...Only about 10 left to do

Yes nylene, I hope to join the Hangout session tonight. But it will have to be after our supper, so at least 6:00pm our time MDT. I hope to see you and gramma there as I need some help with cutting a few things. Got some cutting done this morning, and hope to finish cutting for the Kayaking LO before supper so I can put that one together tonight. Note to self: dig out Lake papers!

Happy Saturday! It has been a chill day for us and we needed it. I hope you all are relaxing where you are. I am finishing up a new video on a lo I did a few weeks ago. I hope to have it up tomorrow. grammadee- Thanks for the support! I am learning so much and it has been an exciting, frustrating and exciting ride. LOL! Yes, I did get some time to play and create after all that cleaning. I still have a little more cleaning to do but the main things are done. Your garden is start to grow. I am glad it is dry enough to grow. nylene- I am so happy you are enjoying my videos. I hope you try a TN. You can just record regular events in your daily life, your thoughts or stamps or words you like. When you get back to traveling, you can use moments from your trip. I even thought about some of the pictures that didn't come out that good but are still usable are perfect to put in a journal. Glad to here your church is sort of getting back to normal. linda- Thanks! Hope you are finding your creative mojo.

Hi friends! I have been sick for 10 days starting on the 12th. It was not COVID! I was in bed most of the time and didn’t even have the energy to read on my iPad and chat here with you all. Let’s just say a lot of Netflix and Hulu was watched. I’ve spent this week getting back to normal and I’m feeling so much better. I’ll have to read through here and see what you all have been up to. Thanks for the tag nylene 😊

Happy Sunday! Good morning all and I hope you have a restful day. Here is my new YouTube video. Link HereI had fun making it and the lo in the video was inspired by that circle lo I made for "Sketchy Saturday" June 6, 2020 earlier this month. Had a good time with the gals on Google Hangouts and I did finish a journal page. I will share a few of my pages here. You gals got me all inspired and I haven't felt "Pokey" for months now! LOL! nylene - We just missed each other!!! They said when you got off Hangouts, I got on!!! LOL! Well, maybe next time we can see each other. janesays - Oh I was thinking about you and so glad you are feeling better. Take it easy and I hope you can have fun with us when you are able.

Sorry I missed you on Hangouts, too, nylene . Enjoyed chatting with the Peas who were on when I was. gramma I hope your headache is gone this morning. Thanks for all your help! I finished a two page kayaking LO last night and a Lake 2-pager this morning. Next project is to get started on sliding the copies of dgd's pages into page protectors in her album. Leaving the job of returning the originals to their homes in my albums until HER album is completed. Sorry to hear you have not been well, janesays . Hope you are on the upward swing now. Please try to look after yourself and give yourself time to recover. Dh wants me to go with him to pick up another couple of his on line orders. I guess we will have supper "out", not sure where. TTYL!

I am sorry I missed you grammadee and kellyr21 and only saw gramma for a few minutes on Hangouts. I think this may be what happens each Sat evening. At about 6pm, DH wants to start a movie. I do get in an hour of Hangouts, but that's about all. I haven't finished the cards I started last night, but it's cold and windy so I don't want to be out delivering them today anyway. I'm sorry you were scrapping with a headache, gramma. I hope it's better today. janesays, I am sorry you have been feeling poorly. I'm glad it's not Covid. Hope you are on the mend. Take it easy and just read and chat when you feel up to it. This is very much a no pressure group. Linda, your mother must have been the keeper of the family photos and treasures. 10 more albums to scan? You are a busy bee. Your children and grandchildren will be so appreciative. kellyr21, I will check out your latest video. I'm glad you are enjoying this new activity. It's fun to see you demonstrating. I'll check in again tomorrow and start a new thread on Tuesday night.

nylene - my mother was a keen amateur photographer from her teens on - even up until a year or two before she died, she was going out on photography walks and taking photos on slide film (2016-2017). She had more than 50 photo albums, 10,000+ loose photos, about 4000 slides, and two totes worth of CDs and DVDs (that I haven't even looked at yet) plus the photos she inherited from her mother, grandmother, and Aunt. There were also a handful of photos of my dad from before they married - old military photographs mostly - and a handful of photos of my older sister...that I think must have been Dad's photos (he and her mother separated when she was a toddler - being a German war bride in England wasn't easy right after the war and she ended up going back to Germany with my sister but they stayed in contact and obviously she sent him pictures over the years). She was a very nice lady and always very kind to my mum and us. These current albums are going very slowly - they are the old magnetic page albums (from the 1960s) and the photos are good and stuck. janesays - sorry you've been so ill. Prayers for a complete recovery kellyr21 - you're on a roll with these videos - good job! Time to make dinner - going to try a charcuterie board - and then finish up scanning this album and take my evening walk. grammadee - yay for getting the kayak and lake pages done

Hi! I’m finally in my craft room and I’m ready to play catch up in my PL album. The only bad thing is, when I’m ready to get working on it, I realize that what I’ll actually be doing is being stuck on my phone, choosing pictures, then I need to size them to the pockets I choose and making color adjustments and print them all. This takes me a while. There will actually be no crafting until all the photos printed. I really loathe this part of the process and miss the days of just picking up photos from the the store and getting whatever I get. Simpler times! I’d also like to try out kellyr21 washi tape circle. I watched the video, it’s great! I’m going to do it and post it in our new thread for July!

ABCreations - Thanks so much! I am so glad to be making videos after years of thinking about it. janesays - Thank you! I am happy you are inspired to try this design. I had fun with it and I hope you do, too. Yeah, I know what you mean about photos. I just ordered some but if I had to do them in the pocket size that would be a little stressful! LOL! Hang in there and so glad you are here!
