I wanted to share some news and give an update about my son

Seriously you guys, just like I did when I was all alone in that hospital waiting for him to wake up, today I read your good wishes at least 42 times. What a great day this has been. And I'm so glad I have all of you to share it with. Your words have been so wonderful. All the kind compliments. I'm not sure I did anything different than any mother would have. I'm just glad he got the help he needed to get here. My heart is full to bursting today and all of you have been a part of that. Thank you. ❤️

Yes, this 110%.  It is a mystery to me why something works with one child and doesn't with another.  While one of my children is thriving, the other is floundering.  And I am the same mother to both.  I don't have any answers to the burning questions of how to raise a successful child.  I know each of you is engaged and trying with your kids and that's all we can do.  They have to take the steps in the right direction too.  

I have had good days and I have had some really bad.  And even on a day like today when I'm riding high, I had my other child burning with jealousy and reminding me that she's still out of control.  So I am humbled.  Really.  

And if I can offer you support during your dark time, I will pay it forward.  I cannot tell you how much I hurt and worried that first 24 hours in the hospital when I was wondering if my son would wake up and if he did, if he would be brain damaged from the overdose and the seizures he suffered.  All of you were there for me.  I felt your love and support during that time and I am happy to give whatever I can back to all of you.  I sat there alone.  But I wasn't alone because I had all of you.
