S/O What crazy things have happened on this board?

Okay, I joined the original 2peas in early 2001? but never posted. But boy, do I remember all these stories!

Scrapper Jess (?) who homeschooled and also had a foster child she "nicknamed" Latte due to the colour of his skin? And one day she posted asking for recommendations on backpacks that were bulletproof because she was being forced to send the foster children to a "public" school. 

And the other foster parent - maybe Sass/Sassafrass? who fostered several children with behaviour issues? I always thought someone rang her husband for some reason and he told them she was dead??

I can remember such random bits and pieces - maybe someone will remember the bits I have forgotten.

I remember the Hall of Fame dramas - who was the young male scrapper who caused controversy because his photo was of him on his horse and apparently you had to take the photo yourself? Like the women canoeing who allegedly used a camera in a tree to take her photo??

as an adult, he was convinced that he had been scarred emotionally by the process of circumcision.  I think.  I don't remember the details, just that it was a hilarious thread!  (from what I remember anyway)

So am I the only one that remembers some weird guy whose fetish was feeding obese women? "FeederLynn" I think was his name? Or am I confusing it with some other website?

She was a famous scrapbooker. She lived in a kibbutz it was all over the pub. I don’t remember all the details but it was some sort of HOF drama.

The kitten heels thread is what finally convinced me to register and start posting. I thought her name was Tempe, though?

I remember everything mentioned here so far except the Skybar/divorce lawyer thing. I have to admit that Skybar was NOT one of my favorite peas. She lived with her dog in a mobile home in the desert somewhere and posted like it was her job (I think she was retired?). I remember her posting that Obama (or B.O. as she always called him) was speaking in code and when he said he was “going golfing” he really meant something far more nefarious. She was absolutely crazy and I never could decide if she was really that nuts or if she was just trying to spice up the board a little.

The situation with the stolen picture was interesting, mostly because it involved a long-standing member of the board who had never done anything particularly controversial before. When the other peas called her out, she continued to insist it was a picture of her...and then she just vanished and never graced the board with her presence ever again (as far as I know, anyway).

So many memories!

Mmm... I think you might have this story wrong, or maybe I am the one remembering it incorrectly. I think a Pea (I won’t name, because I think she’s still active) bought a used table/chairs on Craigslist. The original owner contacted her and said they regretted selling it (or something like that) and asked to buy it back. The Pea decided to keep it after praying and getting confirmation that it was supposed to belong to her.

KolCamTay? Or something like that? She was an aunt and her profile name was a mash up of the names of her nieces/nephews. She was single and on the younger side.
