I am a long time pea. I changed my name because I was a very strong democrat but after recent events I can no longer support them. I'm interested in understanding why you feel the need to change your name (which is not really changing, but creating an alternate account). If you strongly believe that Trump is the best choice for president, why not say that under your other "strong Democrat" account? I guess what I also wonder is what particular "strongly Democrat" policies and positions you no longer support, solely because of "recent events?" |

I have no horse in this race but I do follow closely what is going on as ultimately a lot of what the POTUS does affects the rest of the world in many things. If one were a real trumper they would be listing all of the great things that psycho has done for this country and presenting reasoned arguments for the creep but that will not happen. What we will get instead is whining about being bullied and a great desire to own the libs at any cost, even the destruction of our democracy.
They slime back here under new names to hide who they are because deep down they are ashamed of themselves and they don't even believe the bullshit that they spew. If that were not true they'd be here under their original name.
They will quickly jump in and whine about what others on this board say about them but you will never get a list of all of the great things that con has done for this country. They will also never, ever discuss any of the criminal indictments and prosecutions that are happening daily.
As for not turning this thread into a trump bashing thread, when you trumpers stop showing up, every . single . time, trolling the threads that are for the most part informative and documented, that’s when I will give a shit about what you want. Go hang out with the other simpletons who will agree with everything you say.
If they had any other reason for supporting him they would state it and just watch, that will not happen on this thread or any other.

So far, this is not a positive thread about Trump. The op did not give one positive characteristic of Trump! Maybe you want to help her out to think of something? She made a vague reference to "recent events" which says nothing about Trump, and then the reason she gave in her second post was saying Biden can't string a sentence together. So how is this a positive thread? That's a direct quote from Trump about Biden, so it seems quite likely to me that this is a long-time Trump supporter. And she's behind the times...now Trump says that Biden USED TO have trouble speaking, but now he speaks much better, so he must be on drugs! |

I asked a rational question up above...I'm interested to know why the OP changed her mind like that. I mean, she gave a few reasons but since those all apply to trump I'd still like to know why specifically -- what policies, etc. -- that Biden supports that have caused her to leave the Democratic party. The OP, and anyone else, can think differently from me, but they also should be prepared to explain those differences if they're going to post on the board. If they don't want to explain then why bother posting? |

I'm a Trump supporter, my whole family is Pro-Trump and 90% of our friends are Trump supporters.
But I will say, I will not discuss that here with fellow Peas. It get nasty and hateful real quick.

I don't know what this is based on. I mean, I know Biden has a history of stuttering, and has made his share of gaffes, but overall he has been pretty articulate. (Thinking of the DNC convention, speeches re: BLM)

And as many people have noted, neither of these reasons are positives about Trump.

I am genuinely curious why any person, especially women, should be on 45's side. I'm not attacking - I really am curious. He's admitted to his conversations with Russia. He's handed jobs to his whole family, instead of qualified people. He has nearly 200k people dead due to standing by and doing nothing about the pandemic. He has openly discussed sexually assaulting women (remember the whole "grab em by the pussy" thing?) and laughed about it. He's given praise to neo-Nazis, calling them "good people." He openly stated that he "could shoot someone on 5th Avenue" and still be supported. He has made attempts to silence the press and destroy our Postal Service. If there is anything a Trump supporter can tell me - with PROOF - that this is not the work of a fascist.... well, I'm all ears. I would like legitimate sources please, not Youtube links or conspiracy websites.
I don't like Biden either (he's too moderate for me, and I'm tired of voting for the same old white men) but I feel I have no other choice, given our broken two party system. I'm open to being educated on why the other side should be supported, though.
