My DS just left on an errand. I had him put the rest of my cards in the mailbox and put the flag up for pick up tomorrow.
I'm really glad I decided to get them out despite my wounded-ness. <<<<(cards definitely reflect that)
It really picked up my spirits darn near as much as receiving them from y'all.
Happy Holidays everyone!

Just a tiny FYI, my offer to send out US cards for our international peas was 100% sincere. I hope y’all will take me (or another pea) up on it if we do the exchange again next year! It should save you some serious $$$. I sent international cards 10-14 days ago. I sent domestic cards today. I hope it brings a little smile to your face and that you feel the warmth and good wishes enclosed in each envelope. Happy December everyone! 🕎 🎄 ♥️ ⛄️ ♥️ 🎄 🕎 And for our Southern Hemisphere girls, a little ☀️ and 🌺 too! I am definitely going to take you up on your offer next year. It is $1.30 to send to the US. I love this exchange so much that I sucked it up and sent to everyone but if I can do it cheaper next year I definitely will.

I got my international ones posted on Monday. Like other non-US Peas, I haven’t been able to send to everyone. Not at £1.70 per card! (Approx $2.30 😱). And please excuse the state of my handwriting on the cards. My RA has been really bad for the last 6 weeks, and my right hand isn’t working properly. 😄

All my cards are in the mail y’all. It feels weird to have it finally done since starting prep for it in October. I have a sense of accomplishment even though I think my artistic ability leaves a lot to be desired, but please know that every card comes with gratitude at being with such an amazing community of women. Happy happy!!!😘

So I have a funny story. Today the mailman rings the doorbell and leaves a pile of mail and packages on our side steps. We thought nothing of it, until we saw him still standing in the driveway.
My husband went to the door and he asked him "Does ihavetoomuchstuff" live here! My husband started laughing and said yep, you got the right house, she has too much stuff!!!!

I mailed everyone on the list a card today. Hopefully the international ones make it to their destination in time. I have a shelf in our living room where I've put the ones I've received and as of today it's officially full. These have truly made the days a little bit brighter.

I hope we do this again next year. I have plenty of free time in the summer, so plan is to spend the rainy days making cards for all my scrappy friends !

All my cards are postal. I sadly missed the UK and Aussie peas. I just couldn't do it. I ran out of cards, time, and envelopes.
I will be doing the Splitcoast monthly challenge in January. You choose a number of cards you want to make in a month. No prizes or anything; it's just motivation & support and they do have a theme you can use or not, as you wish.

Funny story! My dh loves getting all the cards almost as much as I do. So he makes sure they are displayed around our fireplace as soon as they arrive. So far I have probably received about 30. All are hanging up I had a friend over for drinks on Friday. She said oh what a neat idea I never thought about hanging up last years Christmas's card as decorations. I had to set her straight and tell her nope not last years all this years and tons more to come. Her mind was boggled LOL

O.M.G PLurker Best.Christmas.Card Ever! I actually did laugh out loud. You have no idea how much I needed that today. Plus it really is adorable. I am cherishing each and every card that I am receiving. My DH is bringing in the mail every day and announcing how many cards I received. Sometimes he opens them and then tells me he “ didn’t look” so I could enjoy them first. Ha. I am so glad that I decided to join this exchange. I’m sorry that mine were all purchased, but as soon as the holidays are over I think I will start planning out my cards for next year so I can send handmade. So many, many thanks for all of you.

I’ve received 4 so far. Gar’s came a week ago (I had to laugh, as it went to the US and then back because I used my APO address) and I opened two more today. Ontario Scrapper and Jen made pretty cards and Restless Spirit sent a fun card. Thank you!

I have one string of ribbon across the alcove of my bay window (I could only find two push pins) and hung cards. I still have more to hang, so am waiting for more push pins to arrive from Amazon and I’ll put up another line of ribbon. They look amazing! My husband is in awe.
You all are so talented! And thank you for all the various Chanukah cards from around the globe. I certainly would have been happy with Christmas 🎄 cards, but really appreciate the extra effort people have put in. I’ve never received so many Chanukah cards in one year. ❤️
I’m sorry that I wasn’t able to hand make cards this year. I will start planning handmade cards this summer and hope that we do this again next year, and y’all will get handmade cards instead of the printed ones I sent out this year.

Thank you for the beautiful cards that have landed here in Australia. There are some seriously talented peas here! They are filling up the shelf in my scraproom rapidly, time to put them on display in the livingroom for all to admire. My husband gets excited whenever he gets a notifaction for the PO Box, and says 'Oooh, you might have another one". This is so much more fun than an advent calendar!
