grammadee , Cute cards. And I love how you mirrored the Sketchy Saturday page for a 2 page layout. It really works. But I have even more love for your scraplift of KiKiPea's page. I found her page especially special as well. How did you do the background? The last time I used watercolor on scrapbook paper it got a little bendy. I am hoping to scraplift that one someday soon. Hopefully it will fit into one of the 28-4-28 challenges. Thankyou! I can’t take credit for that watercolour background. It was from a Vickie Boutin pad of cs that already had the watercolour started on it. If you like that look, you can apply your paint or ink liberally to a sheet of acetate, then spritz both the acetate and the cs with water, then place the cs over the acetate. I then flip it over so I can see what is happening. You can smoosh the acetate around, remove it, pick up the cs and allow for drips. You can repeat the process if it’s not dark enough; add more water if you want more drips. This background was one colour. I find best results with just one colour or with colours next to each other on the colour wheel. hope you try it and I hope you have fun!

This is a great thread. I’m just getting back into scrapping and could use some layout ideas. So many good ideas. Thanks, all.

jjpeapea , I love the soft brown stamping behind your dragonflies. I agree with grammadee that Staz On should work for you. Pretty card. There is love in the gallery for all who post there. I think I am caught up! At the Online Crop yesterday I finally finished the last canvas that has been holding me up from mounting these on my Scraproom wall. Wall ArtOur DD came last week and hung the finished ones and left a nail for my last one. It's nice to have them finished and mounted.

Single pagers for the kids books about Thanksgiving:
And then a kitted up set that I did the first copy all the way back 4/2018! This is what I worked on during the online crop yesterday.

AussieMeg I love those blues- perfect beach layout! jjpeapea - it seems like I often have a seasonal (summer/winter etc) misc page to catch all those random pics that don’t really fit anywhere else. One last lo for January. I used the 11-14 sketch and this one came together really quickly. Isaac dragons event by Schroema, on Flickr

Here is my lift, KikiPea . I chose to use foiling for my stenciled elements. While it was drying, I started from the photo and worked DOWN, adding bits and pieces that I have scattered all over here from this past month's crafting. Consequently, mine is quite a bit busier than yours, but I like it! Christmas morning chat by Gramma Dee, on Flickr My dgs did not get to see his dad in person this holiday season at all--in fact, has not seen him since the end of April--b/c his dad is deployed until this upcoming May. But most mornings he gets to video chat with Dad. It was bitter sweet--I think for both of them--for him to share his excitement about Santa having come and filled his stocking. There were other times during the day that Daddy called as well. Some times you just gotta love electronics!
