That’s such a shame jeremysgirl. If I’m thinking of the right section, it’s my favourite part to look at. It’s a shame it’s giving you so much bother. If I’m doing something that really bugs me I often put it aside and move onto something else. Do you HAVE to do the snowflake section? Could you repeat one you did like to replace it or make up one if your own?

jeremysgirl - if the bags of half made jumpers I got back after my Mum died, are anything to go by, I just abandon them and do something else 😄

The silly thing is now I am in lockdown and have the time, I could finish one of the jumpers but I don't have the patterns for most of them...don't ask! I have no idea why not! Not that I'd wear them now but one of my DDs might...possibly So you'll grit your teeth and finish the snowflake section?

Could you unravel the jumpers and use the yarn for something you’d actually like to knit? Just a thought, as you’re not going to finish them as they are. jeremysgirl - I think the idea of breaking down what you have to do into sections, and giving yourself a reward - working on something more fun or anything else that works - is a good one. It might take a few days, but it will get done.

Yes, I think I will...at the moment I just have bags and bags of craft stuff upstairs that I need to sit and go through properly. It was all stuff my dad asked me to sort out after Mum went in to care so I just need to decide what I might use, what to donate etc. A job for a day when I'm in the mood I did find about 6+ balls of pale blue mohair which is gorgeous so I will do something with that at some point!

I'm just put off by it is all. I think that row I frogged multiple times just left a bitter taste in my mouth

I managed four rows last night. That wasn't so terrible. I've got 6 more to go. DH is having an upper GI procedure this afternoon. I have to wait in the car. I'm going to take it with me and hope I get the rest done this afternoon.
Thank you guys for the encouragement. I just needed a bit of you can do it.

I bet it's looking good jeremysgirl. I'm looking forward to seeing it. I was going to write that I was looking forward to drooling over it but that sounds a bit yuck. Good luck to DH.

I'm not sure it's drool worthy. But my DD wants it really bad. She's been watching it grow and commenting on how great she thinks this one is.

I love the color too. I'm so glad since I basically misunderstood how to properly order I got the color scheme I wanted.

It's gorgeous jeremysgirl and the snowflakes were well worth pushing on with. They were but I'm putting it away for the rest of the weekend. I'm going to work on that shawl. I feel like I ran a marathon...lol.

My 3 “extra” fabrics came today! Going to get them washed and start cutting and sewing on the temp quilt. I’m hoping to sew a month each week. We’ll see.
