On Good Morning America this morning, the idiot republican congressman who was on, said he was behind the man who shot the terrorist. He said the cop/secret service person had no choice but to shoot. There were congress men and women behind that door, which had been breached, who had to be protected. I have to believe the man who shot her was just upholding his oath to protect our elected leaders. There were also police behind the terrorists who didn't seem to be de-escalating the situation. Here is video of it. DO NOT CLICK ON IT IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO SEE HER BEING SHOT.I am so confused. Why did the guy shoot that woman when there were policemen and other people behind her? Why didn't the policemen behind her just pull her down and stop her from going further? The whole thing was a chaotic cluster %@#* but it just doesn't make sense to me. I didn’t even see him until he stepped forward to shoot. I though the gun was a reflection in the glass. |

From watching both videos it looked like the police had just gotten to that part of the building. There were rioters between her and the police. My guess is they were rushed by the rioters going up the stairs and meeting the other group of rioters already on the upper landing. That landing leads to another hallway filled with rioters. She was half way through the window before the secret service shot her. I don’t think the police on the stairs even knew SS was in that doorway. Considering the police on her side of the door drew his gun towards where the SS person was I agree with you. I am sure the SS person immediately identified themselves which is why the police officer on her side of the door put his gun down and appeared to acknowledge the SS agent. |

Oh, well in that (unlikely) case, she did nothing wrong. It would only have been wrong if she followed her compatriots. And they were all back at the hotel doing thought exercises. I am sorry for her family, but she knew what she was doing. I have seen so many posts saying that it was Antifa. 🙄 please. These idiots are being tracked down courtesy of their phones. Their social media will be accessed as well. Investigators will have a good idea about the background of each one.
And now a Capitol Police officer has died, so I would not want to be one of these idiots.

Did the injuries happen before or after they took selfies with and opened the doors for terrorists? If it was after, oh well. I have only seen the 1 video and pic's of the same guy taking the selfie. Have you seen anymore? I think it's unfair to judge a whole population by one guy taking selfies. yes, I know that a lot of the police were pretty insufficient, but it sounds like some tried to keep people back, and got hurt, obviously. There were just too many people. not enough police, and the ones that were there were obviously not all invested. |
