I just saw this. They opened the doors and let them walk in. Count how many capitol police you see. Dumb question... Can videos on twitter be copied/saved for later. Just in case they might be taken down. Yes sort of. The video can be deleted from twitter but anyone can record/copy the video on their iPhone or iPad. I'm so bad at using both...I've done it once but I would have to google the directions if I wanted to do it again.

Is this true or urban legend? I had heard earlier about someone tasering themselves. Probably doesn't matter - this story will live forever.

Finger straight and off the trigger yet gave no thought to the safety of a taser in his pants. Sad.

Yeah, I don't know about that. It sounds too ironic to be true. If there were even one legit source for that report... Anything is possible. Someone in our town had his CHL pistol in his waistband. He was wounded when he picked up his dog and the dog caught the trigger with a paw. The police issued an advisory on NextDoor in December. Not an outstanding moment for behavior but a lot of humor on NextDoor after that post. Thoughtless acts have consequences.

Is it bad that I laughed? Really laughed! Me, too. Although I did wonder if it is true. I mean, why would a Trumpeteer insurrectionist be stealing a portrait of Tip O'Neill?

There was a picture going around of Biden hugging a little girl. People were using that to show how creepy he is. Come to find out it was his granddaughter at her father’s (his sons) funeral. I have no words. There was a video montage going around of him hugging more than several young girls from behind, or when standing behind them for a group photo (like they take when you visit him on the floor) and more than just holding their shoulders, he was leaning down and whispering in their ears, and most of them looked scared or uncomfortable (which is subjective) when he was doing it. Since it fit in with all the videos/reports of him being "too touchy", it was easy enough to believe. Disclaimer: I am not saying I believed it. Just responding with a reason that some people may have been or are more likely to judge him as a creepy. NOT saying that I do or don't.

I know a police range training officer who lost a ball to a gun shot. Gun was in waist of pants. Oops

Oh certainly possible. Just not willing to believe the report until there is a legit source quoted or linked. It isn’t true. He did die of a heart attack while talking on the phone with his wife, but not due to tasing himself. He had high blood pressure, and if the photos are accurate, he didn’t look to be in great physical shape. I read it in one reliable news source somewhere - I’ll look for it shortly. I think the G-d tweet was simply gallows humor. www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2021/01/07/capitol-raid-three-died-medical-emergencies-police-say/6583024002/

I was hesitant to watch it because it said about containing graphic images, but her body was blurred out after she was shot. It is so damn obvious that man was going his job. Can you imagine what more would have happened if those tactical officers did not arrive when they did?

When you only see the video of protestors walking through the halls behind the ropes, it looks pretty peaceful, but when you watch the video above, the violence is shocking. I think everyone needs to see this.

She was also from San Diego. What the hell was she doing in DC during covid times? A Trump rally is not essential travel. I’m sorry for her family but I feel no sympathy for her.
I feel like a horrible person for thinking the same thing. The worst part? I actually know someone who was friends with her and when they told me I felt nothing.

The woman who died in Capitol, Washington, D.C., was an Air Force veteran and a staunch supporter of Donald Trump, who wrote on Twitter just hours before the incident. “Nothing” can prevent “invasion” It will be in Washington D.C.” Bullets did. ohh. no. she was antifa. Everyone was antifa, the poor patriotic trumpster didn't do this. Yea, that's what's being posted on social media. I'm just rolling my eyes. Like go back and just look at THEIR social media. It pretty much says it was Trumplicans. Scary that these trumpsters are telling us we did not see, what we saw, with our own eyes. And then they call us Democrats “sheeple”.

Could be wrong though as all the sorts itself out. If you go to the tweet and article is in thread. He tried to smuggle taser in in his pants. Then when he was trying to steal a painting he fried himelf multiple times leading to heart attack. Who knows Edited for clarity. Or lack of it.

Did the injuries happen before or after they took selfies with and opened the doors for terrorists? If it was after, oh well. I have only seen the 1 video and pic's of the same guy taking the selfie. Have you seen anymore? I think it's unfair to judge a whole population by one guy taking selfies. yes, I know that a lot of the police were pretty insufficient, but it sounds like some tried to keep people back, and got hurt, obviously. There were just too many people. not enough police, and the ones that were there were obviously not all invested. I liked this because the one video that I saw was four cops letting the terrorists through the barricade but they were very much out numbered. I've seen more now and some police actually aided and abetted their invasion of the Capitol.

So another person giving their full name and where they are from, while providing a full description of their actions, showing no remorse and encouraging others to do the same. Remarkable. And the complete disconnect about what they did Edited: after watching that again, it is obvious by the bashing & bashing on the ‘glass’ he could not have shot her thru layered glass if they hadn’t bashed it out of the way. They caused this themselves

I have only heard second hand accounts (and frankly gleeful ones) - so nothing really substantive. I will say that I heard very early on that one of the medical emergencies was a self inflicted taser injury, so am not ruling it out - just not sure whether this turned into a fish story at some point.

If he was a moron who went to DC to go to the rally at the square and dropped dead of a heart attack there - that's peaceful protest and I feel bad for him and his family - and REALLY bad that he will be the guy who tasered his balls in a riot for ever. If he was in the Capitol and was trying to rip the painting off a wall and tasered himself - OMFG - it's just funny - and I'm very sorry that his family will have to live with his choices.

That is actually the best video to watch. I don’t blame the officers at all anymore. You can see everything. They broke down the doors knowing they had a gun pointed at them 3 feet away. They saw the congress men and women behind the doors. What did they think was going to happen next. Sure, PEACEFUL protestors....not. i don’t understand why all of these so called “experts” saw everything that was going on online about this event, and what people were planning, and had NOTHING in place to stop it.

You can tell from that video how hard it was to break thru the ‘glass’ that it’s doubtful he could have shot anyone outside until the glass was bashed away.
