Happy Friday all! I am moving slow and just going with the flow. I have tried to return to my routines this week and that has helped. I finished the sheetload cards and did a video about them I will post next week. Here is this week's video about that Heidi Swapp class I started last month. It was the "Surprise Inside" class and I love how my card turned out. Here is a sneak peak of the contents and in the video I shared it all. Video Link HereMy Pocket Class by Kelly Roberts, on Flickr grammadee- Sorry about your family's loss. Boy, this has been a tough year!!!! justjac- I like your layouts especially the multi colored one. I am glad you are back to work and I hope we can all hang in there until this craziness is over. I am sure you miss your students and the consistency of class. linda- How are you enjoying your house so far? nylene- I am looking at your card right now and it is so beautiful! Waving hi to you all and have a good rest of the day!

Hi, Pokeys! I am behind in scrapping, chatting, cleaning, cooking and anything else you can fall behind in. Not sure why, I just am! My tooth is not really better but not worse. I know not to chew on it and hope it will improve. I honestly don't think it will. But, I'm following the Endodontist's instructions. shinyhappytina, so nice to see your happy face. I almost cried when they gave me my shot and the nurse asked if it hurt. My tear filled eyes were for being able to be closer to my kids and grands. It will be a while before we can see the Calif. kids, but we are one step closer. grammadee, I am so sorry for the loss in your family. I am glad that your DSIL will be able to come home. It's always hard to have him leave again, I'm sure. Hugs to your DSIL, DD and DGS as well as the rest of the family. Linda, sleeping in the new house! Finally, and it sounds like the utility problems have been fixed and you have a new fridge. I hope things move smoothly now as you put things away and begin your normal routines. Hugs for all the work you have done. gramma, thanks for the info on the Silhouette blades. I think I am going to try them. I'm on my last one now. I have been studying your wedding pages. I think I've decided I don't have the patience to back all those flowers. I cut a big flower cluster from white that fills most of the page and I kind of like the plain white. Still debating. How are things at home? kellyr21, congrats on getting back to doing things you love. Don't push yourself too fast and treat yourself kindly. I have had my mother on my mind a lot lately. I still have days that I really miss her. I will watch your video tonight. Your project looks so interesting. I can't wait to see your cards. justjac, your table and your page about it are beautiful. I'm sorry teaching is not possible the way I'm sure you would like it done. Do you thing next year our education systems will be back on track? I have been attending Roots Tech today and yesterday. It's an International Genealogy Conference in 11 languages, all held virtually and FREE this year. I have always wanted to go, but it's so cold in Salt Lake and I dreaded parking and walking to and from classes. I have learned a lot. I don't really do original research. I do indexing, where I type up all the information on wills, obituaries, birth and death cert., military rolls, etc. into a form so they can be searched by surname, date, and place, by anyone online and anytime. I was surprised to see Ali Edwards and Heidi Swapp do short videos on recording memories and keeping records. It is still on tomorrow but I hope to drop in on the Online Crop too. I have worked on a couple of pages while listening to classes. I'll try to post them tonight. Have a great weekend, everyone.

kellyr21 - that is beautiful! nylene - I'm sorry that the tooth isn't better. (((Hugs))). I'm glad that you're enjoying Rootstech - I thought about signing up but I don't have the time right now. House is coming along - every evening when DH gets off work, we go over to the old house and load up the car with another load...it's mostly DH's stuff and heavier furniture left now...and the sheds. Saw a hige flock of robins this afternoon - just hanging out in our yard and our neighbours' yards

Good morning! I am so far behind on things here. Work this week was ridiculously busy and kicked my butt! It's just too early in the year for this. Our celebration with DS2 was fun and it was good to see him, and even more to see him clean. He is a completely different person when he's sober. The rest of the week has just been a blur of work, sleep, work. I'm so looking forward to the crop tonight. I need to figure out plans for the next couple of 28-4-28 challenges to work on tonight. And get stuff posted!! I'm so bad about that! I also need to start on my first sketch for next month. Linda that's so exciting that you are sleeping in the new house and it sounds like you are close to being finished moving in. kellyr21 good for you getting back to your routine, your card is beautiful! Sending you more big hugs. grammadee I'm so sorry. nylene I'm glad your tooth is no worse, even if it's no better. I had seen someone mention in a FB group that Ali Edwards was part of rootstech. I had no idea what that even was. Pretty cool that it's free this year and you can take the classes at home. I'll be over the moon for you once you can see the kids and grands. I know this has been really hard for you. justjac, wonderful pages! I have a similar coffee table and I love it. So does the cat, she likes to hop in it and watch TV lol. I'm going to hop off here and get a couple things done so I can be ready to crop. I always think it starts at 7 my time, but it starts at 5! Which is better, I'm fresher then lol.

kellyr21, I watched your video and think that "packet of card goodness" is just amazing. So many little hidden spots and so many fun techniques. That ticket book is wonderful. Thanks for sharing that with us. I am really enjoying all your new projects. Hugs! It was fun to see some of you online today. I had just a few things to finish on my pages. I think I have hit a wall, although I would like to do a few more challenges. I think they will have to wait until next month. I just realized that I haven't posted anything here or on the Sharing thread. I just posted to the 28-4-28 proper # thread. I hope that's OK. Here are the pages I did of Swayzee this month and the Sheetload cards I made. That will add the 4 Pokey Pea points. LOL SweetLove - SwayzeeGnome Body like you

Hey nylene. Sharing in the challenges threads is perfectly okay. This next month will be simpler. Just back to sharing in the sharing thread on the GS board. Or here of course. Dd & her little family are on their flight. I am at her house with the pets. Plan to drive home to the farm with them tomorrow unless it snows too much. Snowing now, but I think it is supposed to clear up by morning. I need to set up the teams in a bit and get March underway. Hard to believe...

grammadee, you are so kind to stay at the home while they are gone. Please be careful driving home. I will close this thread in a couple of hours and start a new March thread. This month always goes so fast!
