The IMPEACHMENT!

I realize that. However, on the perjury charge, 45 Republicans voted to convict. On the obstruction of justice charge, 50 Republicans voted to convict. So clearly, Republicans care more about a president lying about his sex life than they care about a president who spent months and months whipping his supporters into a frenzy that resulted in a mob trying to take over the US Capitol and hang our vice president.

I can't bring myself to watch today.  I could-- I could watch it live on one of my computer screens while I'm working. I watched most of the first day and part of the second day, but I realized that seeing it all, and hearing about the Trumplican senators who are NOT going to do the right thing no matter what, it was making me way too anxious.  I'm listening to 'relaxing music with nature sounds' instead.  (and checking in here, lol... but at least I'm not watching and listening to the idiocy live.)

ETA:  do the House Managers get a chance to respond and rebut the false claims his lawyers are making?  too bad they can't yell "I object" every time one of his lawyers lies.
