The managers need to play all those clips with the Insurrectionists saying Trump told them to storm the capitol!
And if Free Speech doesn't allow you to yell FIRE in a theater, it certainly doesn't allow you to tell people to go fight at the Capitol!

He is saying it loud and clear!! they will never see it as turning on them. his base thought that Mexico would pay for the wall. when they wouldn't, they gave millions of dollars to a private fund to build the wall. funds that Bannon may have funneled away in a shady manner. his base also donated millions of dollars to him after the election and who knows where all that money will go and how much will actually be used for the defense. we're talking cult-level devotion here. they will never open their eyes to the truth. |

Im assuming they would call Booker because of something he said back in the summer about getting in Congress members faces (or something along that lines...I dont know what he actually said, but I heard a clip on talk radio about comparing what he said to what Trump said. They talk show host (not sure who it was, but it wasn't Limbaugh or Hannity) played clips of Booker and Maxine Waters saying what they did was the same as Trump. |

I can’t get excited about the Senate trial, because unless something dramatic happens, Rs have decided that they will acquit. It would be nice if they actually listened to the evidence before deciding either way. I hope that I am wrong.

I disagree, this is all stemming from the fact that people were ignorant when they chose to vote for trump in 2016 and a political party more interested in keeping power then protecting our Constitution. What has been said many times, elections have consequences and we are still experiencing the consequences from the 2016 election,

watching right now, online... Part of the opening statement-- they're showing video of the speech and rioters outside juxtaposed with what was going on inside Congress at the exact same time. It's very sobering.
