I've been wanting to give rope baskets a try. I made the large one last night and the two small ones today. They're fun and quick. Those are ds's guitar picks in the small one.

sueg I was oohing and aahing over your grey sweater, and noticed that you said you need to "sew" it together. Do you really mean sew like a sewing machine or by hand, or does that mean it gets knitted or crocheted together? I'm not gonna lie, I'm really hoping you meant sew like with a sewing machine. Because this might mean I have a chance at fixing a 20 year old cashmere fisherman's sweater I have. I have worn that poor sweater to bits, but I'm not ready to give her up yet. Her arm pitties are worn thin, and I thought I was going to have to learn to do some kind of basic knitting to fix it. But perhaps I can take a seam or two to help her.

It does means sew, and will be done by hand. It isnβt really difficult, once you know how to do it and I learned how to do it nearly 50 years ago (yes, I am old!) I will start by attaching the sleeves to the body, then Iβll sew up the side seams to the underarm, then continue down the sleeve to the cuff. Once I get going, it will be less than an hourβs work.

Woohoo! Is there a special stitch I need to learn? Do I need to acquire some black cashmere yarn to do this?

we were on page 3! GASP!
I love all the posts of craftiness being shared!
I've made a few shirts here and there, did some cup vinyl recently too. Nothing super great and since I'm back teaching kids both in person and online, I have ZERO energy to do anything very creative after work.
I will be getting my quilt chunks I gave to a friend to machine embroider the months on for me tomorrow after work! I'm so excited!
Before I can start back on the quilt tho, I have to finish the puzzle that is on the pool table (which is where I craft). It's a REALLY hard one too! Taking me WAY longer than any other ones I've done recently!

I finally got some Chiagoo knitting needles they've been out of stock everywhere for months. I'm planning some stripey socks with WYS in Spearmint and Bubblegum.
