I'm planning some stripey socks with WYS in Spearmint and Bubblegum. Pretty colors.

I don't know how to knit, and I'm a crochet beginner, but that sounds amazing to me! I can dream.

I love those colors but have sworn off sock yarn. My fingers just don’t want to work with something that thin. I will have to just admire the projects here . That yarn sure is tempting though.

If you like the pattern I wouldn't even hesitate to make it with a thicker yarn and a bigger hook.

This is the cardigan I made last year and never shared (you'll see why!) I had a terrible time picking up the front ribbed part and as you can see it's not right.

I'm thinking this a beautiful cardigan. I think you are the only one who will notice the mistakes. I would totally wear it.

lainey, it's wonderful. A faded pair of jeans, a t-shirt, and some sneakers is all it needs.

I think you are being too harsh on yourself lainey but if you really don’t like it maybe do some embroidery over it or sew some braid on? I don’t think it needs anything mind you.

Thanks everyone I do wear it, usually with my Grogu t-shirt You know when you have a garment and it just doesn't sit right and you need to fuss with it all the time? This cardigan is one of those. I learnt a lot making it though so that's good and the yarn was lovely to work with.

I've been wanting to give rope baskets a try. I made the large one last night and the two small ones today. They're fun and quick. Those are ds's guitar picks in the small one. These are super cool! I just went down the YouTube rabbit hole watching rope bowl tutorials.

I'm still working on my Christmas blanket border...boring...but I want to finish. I placed a wool warehouse order for my yarn to start Whatchamacallit. And I want to have this done by the time it arrives. I'm already working on it this morning and likely will be all day.

Feeling brave today so I'm trying to post another photo (clearly I have some sort of mental block). This is a baby quilt for my first grandchild due next month. The nursery is Harry Potter themed, so I wanted to do something along that theme. HPBookquilt by Colleen, on Flickr

colleen that HP inspired quilt is beautiful! I’m still trying to finish this damn puzzle so I can sew more. It’s been 4 days. I’m not enjoying it anymore! Lol. I need to get more gray check to put on the back of the embroidered blocks. I’m dying to get this quilt rolling. I think I found a long arm quilter in my town which will be awesome! I’m thinking of an all over swirl pattern to match the fabric. The company I got the fabric from has a stitching pattern that matches but I know nothing of how that type of thing works. I don’t mind purchasing the design and giving it to the person. She does Quilts of Honor.
