Yesterday the House passed a bill to honor and award the Capital Police medals for the bravery they showed on January 6.
A dozen Republicans voted no.
Here is the justification for that vote.
How is acknowledging what happened on January 6 politicizing it? Seriously, it happened. It’s not something that happens in this country. Or it shouldn’t.

An intelligence report came out a couple of days ago. Why is that of interest on this thread about the new GOP? Well it seems we have a couple of elected officials where a case could be made that they were conspiring with the enemy aka Russia,
And they will get away with it.

This one took me awhile to figure out what Cotton had against Becerra, enough so he ran some ad.
His “public reason” was because he was too far left when it came to a woman’s ability to obtain an abortion.
It is a given any Democrat will support a woman’s fight to choose. So that didn’t make sense.
Today Becerra was confirmed as Secretary of HHS and the vote was 50/49. Old Mitch claimed he was against Becerra because of his far left agenda. And in the same tweet it mentioned that as AG of CA Becerra sued the trump administration 124 times along with other states.
Pay back by a Party against a man doing his job.

Saying “mean” things about members of the other side should be the main reason why she was considered unacceptable especially since the “leader” of the other party excelled at doing what they are accusing Tanden of doing. And few of any Republicans ever called former on it.

Much like they continued to say that, despite overwhelming evidence, he won the election. The only sensible conclusions are that 1) they are ready, willing and able to lie to stay in power and 2) they revere power and party over country.
