1. Which PROJECT are you most looking forward to working on during the crop?
I recently listed out ALL of the photos that I have printed out that need to find homes on pages! Over 40 different layouts possible. Cards will also be in the mix.
2. Do you have any good news to share for COVID-19 IMMUNITY? Did you already get a shot? Have your loved ones been vaccinated? Do you have an upcoming appointment or timeline when you'll be able to get the vaccine?
I have had both does of Moderna, and had a moderate reaction to #2, just glad to be through it. Type A blood here and research says we type A'ers usually have more difficult cases. In-laws have both gotten both shots, but my parents have not yet . . . they are in a different county, but do qualify on age. DH won't be getting it UNLESS airlines start requiring it to travel, then he will VERY begrudgingly!
3. What are you CURRENTLY drawn to in the world of scrapbooking, cardmaking and/or crafting? Do you have a designer or brand you're loving at the moment? Is there a special technique you've gotten into? Have you been meaning to try out sketch or product?
Recently I've been working at using up really old supplies on one and done layouts. It's been fun shopping stickers, and papers. I am also IN LOVE with some of my new products from Heartfelt Creations and see myself making some beautiful flowers and layered cards using my fun new toys!

Thursday AMA: 1. Which PROJECT are you most looking forward to working on during the crop? My 2020 JYC. I’m up to Day 18. Hoping to make some progress. 2. Do you have any good news to share for COVID-19 IMMUNITY? Did you already get a shot? Have your loved ones been vaccinated? Do you have an upcoming appointment or timeline when you'll be able to get the vaccine? DH (teacher) got his first shot this week (yay!). I’m eligible Mar 29, but hoping to get a standby spot at events that have some left at the end of the day. 3. What are you CURRENTLY drawn to in the world of scrapbooking, cardmaking and/or crafting? Do you have a designer or brand you're loving at the moment? Is there a special technique you've gotten into? Have you been meaning to try out sketch or product? Lately I’ve been loving Cocoa Vanilla Studios, IACB, and Everyday Explorers Co. I’ve been making my own “enamel dots” with Nuvo drops and love that I can make smaller dots.

I have several patterns from this designer. Her companion piece as well and the four seasons and some Christmas ones. You're right - never enough time It's coming along beautifully! That picture is the finished piece. I'm only about 10% done with mine ;-)

1. PROJECT: I want to work on cards for my 100 day project, but I also have some random photos I could scrap. I may also bust out a recent TN kit and some sketches. I’ve learned recently that I like to use sketches and create travel notebooks that I can add pictures to later.
2. COVID-19 IMMUNITY: I’ve received both doses of Pfizer vaccine. My dad is Moderna vaccinated and my mom is scheduled for dose #2 next week. They both live across the country from me.
3. CURRENTLY drawn to in papercrafting: I’ve been into using stencils with inks. I’ve purchased several dies recently. In addition to card making, I’m also in a long TN phase.

For scrapbooking, I want to start incorporating more 6x6 paper into my pages. I have so many 6x6 paper pads!! I love 6x6 because they're so nicely coordinated already and generally don't require much extra work, but I struggle to use them on layouts sometimes. I generally do 2-page LOs so there must be sketches out there for that, right? Check out Scrapbook Generation. They have some great sketches that are 2-pagers and that use 6x6 papers. Allison Davis recently finished up a class associated with one of the sketch bundles. It was great!

1. My table is covered with cards in various states of completion, so I’d be happy to get those wrapped up, and maybe go back and fill in some unfinished spots in PL albums.
2. Fully vaccinated as of 1 month ago. I got together with a few other vaccinated friends last night, inside, in a private room at a local wine bar. We were positively giddy about hanging out in person for the first time since last summer, and drank way too much champagne!
3. After focusing on PL and journaling with Cocoa Daisy kits for the last few years, I’m ready to circle back to mixed media and art journaling. I still love everything Tim Holtz, and some of the makers that use his products in a flowery, light way. The new Kitsch Flamingo color has me inspired. Can’t wait to play with it one of these days. I also love tearing through a 6x6 pad, Kristy Marcotte style, to see how many cards I can make out of it.
Looking forward to our weekend together!

Good morning from the rainy shores of Mediterranean France where it is uncharacteristically grey and gloomy. 🌧️ Fingers crossed it clears up soon! Welcome to the official opening of our 🌈 ANNUAL MARCH CROP🍀! I'm so happy see many familiar faces in here already and cannot wait to spend the next three days in your company. Whether you'll be sorting through photos (so nice to have you here again, craftykitten ), making cards, working on Project Life or making layouts (or, really, do any sort of crafting including beautiful cross stitch angels like gramma ), you're right at home here! Let's get started with the FRIDAY CHALLENGES for those who like a bit of prompting or competition (not mandatory, of course): 1. Theme | Let's kick off this weekend crop with a smile and get inspired by HAPPY DAYS. Scrap something related to a merry memory. Make a card for a joyous occasion. Think about celebrations, birthdays, a day out with the family, unfinished vacation albums, Mother/Father's Day, etc. 2. Colours | Embrace the feelings of renewal (we're only 2 and a half months into the new year after all, teehee) and go for a BRIGHT & WHITE colour scheme. Think of pops of vivid colours and some white space here and there (maybe add a white border around your photos if you're not big on a white background page). 3. Products & technique | STAMP away! Get your stamps and inks out, and make sure you use them today. You could even combine the Colours challenge with this one by stamping your images or sentiments on bright pattern paper or freshly watercoloured cardstock... PSA: Team Challenge players, the OP has been updated with the point collection system for the crop. 😉

Friday AMA: 1. The first batch of 2021 releases are showing up at retailers. Which NEW COLLECTION or product(s) are you most excited about? Which ones are already on your must-buy list? 2. How has the PAST YEAR affected your scrappy ways? With few to no events happening, has your focus shifted? Are you documenting different photos nowadays? How does 2020-2021 look in comparison to your previous years of scrapbooking? 3. How are you making this stay-at-home crop EXTRA FUN for yourself? Are you playing a TV show or movie in the background today? Listening to a podcast or music? Got some treats from the store? Got a furry companion by your side?

Well, I took the day off today, but I was awake super early (5 :15) maybe the crop has me too excited 😆 I’m heading out for a hair cut at 9 and since my car is in the shop today I will have to drive DD to and pick her up from work today which kind of gets in the way of scrapping. I need to tidy and organize today to start scrapping tonight.
Friday AMA: 1. The first batch of 2021 releases are showing up at retailers. Which NEW COLLECTION or product(s) are you most excited about? Which ones are already on your must-buy list?
Earlier in my scrapping life I was all about Echo Park and Doodle Bug. Having been away from it for a few years I haven't really gotten in to any one designer or collection...yet.
2. How has the PAST YEAR affected your scrappy ways? With few to no events happening, has your focus shifted? Are you documenting different photos nowadays? How does 2020-2021 look in comparison to your previous years of scrapbooking?
Having more free time helped me get back into scrapping. I moved a lot of my stuff from my basement craft room up into my main floor family room so things are right there when I have a few minutes.
3. How are you making this stay-at-home crop EXTRA FUN for yourself? Are you playing a TV show or movie in the background today? Listening to a podcast or music? Got some treats from the store? Got a furry companion by your side?
Chocolate is purchased, probably have HGTV on, will join some of the virtual crops, SO may join me in crafting tomorrow as he occasionally builds models. Scrapping in itself is extra fun for me so I’m just looking forward to that in itself.

Good morning everyone! Fun challenges and questions today. I am teaching an in-person class today at 1 p.m. so hopefully after that I can play today and tomorrow! 1. The first batch of 2021 releases are showing up at retailers. Which NEW COLLECTION or product(s) are you most excited about? Well, I don't keep up with the new stuff but since the new Prima was posted here, I will say Prima. I probably won't buy though. I have WAY too much stuff to use up.2. How has the PAST YEAR affected your scrappy ways? With few to no events happening, has your focus shifted? It didn't effect me at all. I was only home for 6-8 weeks, and I would love to have to stay home again. LOL! At work, we just had to "reinvent" how we did things so I just have different photos. The only thing I missed was my beach trip but we took two trips instead to see my parents. When your entire family (except one DD) are essential workers, we were out but always did/do everything safely (masks/social distancing), etc. Praise God no one has had COVID, and everyone has been double-vaccinated for a while (except myself and DD#3--still have one to go).3. How are you making this stay-at-home crop EXTRA FUN for yourself? Just doing what I want. I don't snack, and I LOVE peace and quiet. So just doing what I enjoy when I want is extra fun for me!
grammadee aren't we supposed to tag you after 3 posts? I think this is 4 for me but. . .

Friday AMA: 1. The first batch of 2021 releases are showing up at retailers. Which NEW COLLECTION or product(s) are you most excited about? Which ones are already on your must-buy list? I haven’t had time to look at the new 2021 collections available! Maybe I should do some online shopping this weekend! I do have the March Club Echo Park box on its way to me, and it has a new spring collection in it! 2. How has the PAST YEAR affected your scrappy ways? With few to no events happening, has your focus shifted? Are you documenting different photos nowadays? How does 2020-2021 look in comparison to your previous years of scrapbooking? Jeepers, the past year has been a big downer for me. I hardly scrapped at all, but it didn’t stop me from buying 3. How are you making this stay-at-home crop EXTRA FUN for yourself? Are you playing a TV show or movie in the background today? Listening to a podcast or music? Got some treats from the store? Got a furry companion by your side? Just taking the time to relax and have fun playing with paper. That’s all I need.

1. Which NEW COLLECTION or product(s) are you most excited about? I bought a ton of the new Vicki Boutin line, but it won't be shipping until sometime next month. But I'm actually more excited about the Cocoa Vanilla Sunkissed 6x8 pad I just got in the mail yesterday. I'll be using it tonight for the Bright and White layout prompt. 2. How has the PAST YEAR affected your scrappy ways? I have a lot more photos of my yard in my 2020 book than in previous years, that's for sure! 3. How are you making this stay-at-home crop EXTRA FUN for yourself? The Virtual Crops! Our first Virtual Crop of the weekend begins tonight at 10pm EST on Google Meet. Jessica will be posting a thread with the link, and you can join at any time during the session to just say hello or to stay for the chit chat. Catching up: Thursday AMA: 1. Which PROJECT are you most looking forward to working on during the crop? Getting my printed photos organized 2. Do you have any good news to share for COVID-19 IMMUNITY? Did you already get a shot? Have your loved ones been vaccinated? Do you have an upcoming appointment or timeline when you'll be able to get the vaccine? I got my second Pfizer shot last week.(I work in a preschool) I celebrated by getting my first haircut in over a year. My daughter (16 with type one diabetes) got her first dose a week ago and my husband is scheduled for his first on Monday. My parents have gotten their shots as well. Now who knows when it will be available for my 13 yr old son, but with the rest of us vaccinated that has to help protect him as well. 3. What are you CURRENTLY drawn to in the world of scrapbooking, cardmaking and/or crafting? Do you have a designer or brand you're loving at the moment? Is there a special technique you've gotten into? Have you been meaning to try out sketch or product? I’m loving Allison Davis sketches since I discovered them last year.

How does 2020-2021 look in comparison to your previous years of scrapbooking? I scrapped more in 2020 than I have in a long time! But that was mostly motivated by having a high schooler and feeling pressure to get her life scrapped! The pandemic just gave me more time to work on it. 3. How are you making this stay-at-home crop EXTRA FUN for yourself? Are you playing a TV show or movie in the background today? Listening to a podcast or music? Got some treats from the store? Got a furry companion by your side? Hm going to get some treats at the store today!

Oooh I hope this inspires me to get some scrapping done this weekend for the first time in ages.
From Thursday AMA: 1. Get started on my 2021 Project Life Album. It's been gathering dust & is very neglected. 2. 1st shot was on Wednesday and feeling very grateful despite a very achy arm and tiredness. My DH got his 1st dose a week ago and my folks have both doses so they are coming to visit at the end of April. I haven't seen them in a year and a half and they've never met my husband. 3. I'm falling back in love with Felicity Jane after picking up some of her Feb release. I'm attempting to do some more of my own painted background pages which has been fun. I'm hoping DH will set up my Picturemate today so I can get some photos printed. I'd also like to do some catchup on my OLW.
Friday AMA: 1. Nothing has jumped out at me this year, probably because I haven't been scrapping much. 2. I'm so glad I managed to take some notes throughout 2020 & 2021 since days changed and did not change at a rapid pace. I've added in more news events like the attack on democracy at the capitol on Jan 6th 2021 than ever before. I got married & moved in December and my scrapping slowed to a trickle in the fall as I was wedding planning, looking for a house, and then packing. (We did a micro outdoor wedding/elopement with a couple of friends, masks, social distancing, no family other than my now stepson. It was perfect and I wouldn't change a thing). It's been hard to get settled in and make time to scrap. I also hate that my work from home office is in my scrap space so I'm hoping to do some cleanup/organizing today to help with that. 3. Listening to audio book "The Midnight Library" and drinking some sparkle water are my current favs.

looks at my over-stocked scrap-room...nothing better be on my must-buy list but I'm loving the PhotoPlay Sweet as Honey collection
2. How has the PAST YEAR affected your scrappy ways? With few to no events happening, has your focus shifted? Are you documenting different photos nowadays? How does 2020-2021 look in comparison to your previous years of scrapbooking?
We're homebodies anyway and I've always taken plenty of 'at home' photos but there are certainly more of them this past year. I've included a monthly Covid timeline with journalling - that's a new addition, I don't usually include current events in my scrapping.
3. How are you making this stay-at-home crop EXTRA FUN for yourself? Are you playing a TV show or movie in the background today? Listening to a podcast or music? Got some treats from the store? Got a furry companion by your side?
There is almost always a cat by my side - Mini is my little shadow and the others wander in now and then. Grocery shopping tonight and picking up some yummies..maybe Cadbury mini eggs? I might play music but I discovered the other night that the music in my scraproom can be heard ALL through the house so probably not.

I was awake super early (5 :15) maybe the crop has me too excited 😆 Teehee, Neisey, one of the crop's possible side effects... And a sore arm from all the supplies that you need to get through to find that *one* perfect pattern paper from years ago. 😄 Chocolate is purchased, probably have HGTV on, will join some of the virtual crops, SO may join me in crafting tomorrow as he occasionally builds models. Scrapping in itself is extra fun for me so I’m just looking forward to that in itself. Sounds like such a cosy weekend! I love that your SO is a fellow crafter and might join you in on the fun this weekend. Maybe you can lure him in with that chocolate?... 🍫 When your entire family (except one DD) are essential workers Kudos to you all and thanks for all your efforts. You are an essential family! 🏆 I probably won't buy though. I have WAY too much stuff to use up. Admirable resolution... I hope you're a stronger person than I am when the Christmas collections roll around. Oof, they are my scrappy Achilles heel. 😂 I haven’t had time to look at the new 2021 collections available! Maybe I should do some online shopping this weekend! I'm not saying you should. 😇 I'm definitely not saying you shouldn't... 😈 I hardly scrapped at all, but it didn’t stop me from buying Guilty as charged, Your Honour! I have a lot more photos of my yard in my 2020 book than in previous years, that's for sure! We affectionally call gardens and yards "local micro nature reserves"... I mean, technically, it's not wrong. 😆 But I'm actually more excited about the Cocoa Vanilla Sunkissed 6x8 pad I just got in the mail yesterday. I'll be using it tonight for the Bright and White layout prompt. A little birdie told me you may have another use for that Sunkissed pad later in the weekend... Stay tuned! 🔮🐦 Getting my printed photos organized A worthy cause! Organisation is a neverending task when documenting and scrapbooking. Not as glamorous a task as playing with pretties but oh so important. Kudos for tackling that stack of pictures! 👏 Hm going to get some treats at the store today! Nom nom nom! I approve. 😋 Get started on my 2021 Project Life Album. It's been gathering dust & is very neglected. I believe you switched to 9x12 and are feeling a little iffy about the new format, right? I hope this weekend helps you ease into this new size and enjoy the change. It can be difficult leaving behind a format you've been used to for so long. Fingers crossed the transition goes well! I'm rooting for you. 📣 *shakes pom-poms* Listening to audio book "The Midnight Library" and drinking some sparkle water are my current favs. I'll have to look into that book recommendation. Congratulations on your wedding and marriage, by the way! 💐👰🥂 I wish you and your husband a happy married life together. Between this major milestone, moving and becoming an official stepmother, I can imagine scrapbooking has been shoved to the side a bit. I hope you can enjoy documenting your elopement pics soon.

looks at my over-stocked scrap-room...nothing better be on my must-buy list but I'm loving the PhotoPlay Sweet as Honey collection Sweet as Honey is such a different collection! I was pleasantly surprisedby it. PhotoPlay really tried to do something original for spring and I applaud them for that. 🐝 Plus, it's super cute. The B-sides are all incredibly versatile and easy to use in my opinion. I've included a monthly Covid timeline with journalling - that's a new addition, I don't usually include current events in my scrapping. Welcome to the current events scrap club! We have... stress? 😬 Eh eh. My memory planner's journaling for the start of 2021 is already overrun with geopolitics, pandemic news and whatnot.

Friday AMA: 1. The first batch of 2021 releases are showing up at retailers. Which NEW COLLECTION or product(s) are you most excited about? Which ones are already on your must-buy list?
I go through stages where EVERYTHING looks good, and this is one of those times, I think. My LSS has the PhotoPlay crafting with my gnomies for me, and I have also requested their school line. Then Simple Stories started dropping their spring releases, so I have Farmhouse Garden, Family Fun, and Howdy on that list too.
2. How has the PAST YEAR affected your scrappy ways? With few to no events happening, has your focus shifted? Are you documenting different photos nowadays? How does 2020-2021 look in comparison to your previous years of scrapbooking?
Scrapping a few more photos from the past. And a lot more photos that my family sends me, rather than photos I have taken myself. The photos make me smile. But my journaling is not the same. I don't have all those little asides and nuances in the back of my brain. And without the nuances, it is harder to do the title, too.
I have always liked scrapping at home. But I like to attend group events a few times a year, too. The virtual meets are great. I would never have known how to even OPEN a virtual get together before this past year. Even set up a virtual family bd party for dh's birthday!
3. How are you making this stay-at-home crop EXTRA FUN for yourself? Are you playing a TV show or movie in the background today? Listening to a podcast or music? Got some treats from the store? Got a furry companion by your side?
Just hoping to go with the flow. Loving "seeing" all the peas and feeling the anticipation of a scrappy weekend.
Right now, the house is blissfully quiet while dh is in town for some appointments, so I think I had better USE that silence to actually put some pages together! TTYL

my girls are slow to surface this morning (nothing new) so I snuck in some scrappy time this morning. Starting super simple as these photos didn't crop down much and there wasn't enough of a story for a 2-page spread. Old Karen Foster stickers... grammadee pretty sure this is post 3 for me

1. Which PROJECT are you most looking forward to working on during the crop? I'm looking forward to completely several more of the 28-4-28 prompts from last month. 2. Do you have any good news to share for COVID-19 IMMUNITY? Did you already get a shot? Have your loved ones been vaccinated? Do you have an upcoming appointment or timeline when you'll be able to get the vaccine?I don't have good news on that front (yet!) But I did learn yesterday that my state will be opened up for all adults April 9th. So happy about that! I'm ready! 3. What are you CURRENTLY drawn to in the world of scrapbooking, cardmaking and/or crafting? Do you have a designer or brand you're loving at the moment? Is there a special technique you've gotten into? Have you been meaning to try out sketch or product?I'm really being drawn to cardmaking lately, so I'm also going to attempt this months sheetload during the crop. I'm also really being drawn to using my old school cricut. I've had it for years, but only used it sporadically. Lately I'm wanting to see just what I can do with it. I want to either learn to love it, or if I really don't love it, sell it and get a manual die cutter. I have to head to work today so I won't be playing until tomorrow. hahahaha there are already more prompt questions. I'm behind! LOL. Linda getting us started right off!

Friday AMA: 1. The first batch of 2021 releases are showing up at retailers. Which NEW COLLECTION or product(s) are you most excited about? Which ones are already on your must-buy list? Gosh, I'm not even sure. I haven't been in craft stores in so long, and shopping online feels like a chore.
I really miss shopping though.
2. How has the PAST YEAR affected your scrappy ways? With few to no events happening, has your focus shifted? Are you documenting different photos nowadays? How does 2020-2021 look in comparison to your previous years of scrapbooking? Well, all my photos are so home-centric. It's hard (for me) to not have that feel so boring. Pre-covid we would go out to museums, events, things to actually do and see. There are no ticket stubs for visiting the backyard (again!)
Also many of the events that do happen are virtual. So, many pics are screenshots. Weird to have a team photo with all the kids in their own Zoom window.
3. How are you making this stay-at-home crop EXTRA FUN for yourself? Are you playing a TV show or movie in the background today? Listening to a podcast or music? Got some treats from the store? Got a furry companion by your side? Today, by luck, I'm off from work. The kids just completed their virtual school tests, and I am heading to craft! There is a ton of food in the fridge, kids can watch tv or play toys (I'm a room away).
How has the PAST YEAR affected your scrappy ways? I have a lot more photos of my yard in my 2020 book than in previous years, that's for sure! Yup! I feel like it's the most well documented patch of grass that has ever existed.

Here are my Friday answers! Friday AMA: 1. The first batch of 2021 releases are showing up at retailers. Which NEW COLLECTION or product(s) are you most excited about? Which ones are already on your must-buy list?I don't know about new collections that I want to buy, but I was watching a video with Victoria Marie and she was using a Citrus Twist album to do a vacation and I just loved the look of it. So I *might* have to pick up one of those albums to play with once I am done with what I am working on right now. Does she ever have sales? (I know I missed the BF one where it was slightly off albums) 2. How has the PAST YEAR affected your scrappy ways? With few to no events happening, has your focus shifted? Are you documenting different photos nowadays? How does 2020-2021 look in comparison to your previous years of scrapbooking?
A lot less "going places" photos and more "around the neighborhood" pics. I will say I am excited to scrap my birthday photos this year-I made my 45 year old friends go sledding! 3. How are you making this stay-at-home crop EXTRA FUN for yourself? Are you playing a TV show or movie in the background today? Listening to a podcast or music? Got some treats from the store? Got a furry companion by your side? I grocery shopped, made a list of "easy meals" for DH, (I love to cook, he hates it) stashed a 12 pack of sparkling water in my scraproom so DH and DS would not help themselves, plan on hanging out in virtual crops and keeping my doggo by my side. I do have to duck out for a few hours on Saturday, but other than that, it is scrappy all the time! Woot!

Okay Friday morning, and I'm starting with January pandemic photos. I have a couple memes, the vaccine interest form screenshot, the cases & deaths numbers for the first & last day of the month, screenshots of Biden getting vaxxed, etc. Should be a couple pages. Oh, also have tags from "antiviral" jeans, that are marketed for people fearing Covid pant contamination.
ETA: Also screenshots of Biden & Harris mourning our 400,000 that had passed (at the time). That's really important.

Sketchy Hijack #1 Here is the sketch I plan to use for my next LO. And I am dropping it in here for you, in case you love sketches as much as I do. March crop Pop up Sketch #1 by Gramma Dee, on Flickr If you are a March Challenge Team member, then you can claim TEN cool points for creating something with this sketch. If you get that done before end of day Sunday, you can DOUBLE that bonus. And don't forget you can also claim points for meeting @sleepinbooty's prompts: one point per prompt and a bonus of 5 points if you use them all on one project. If you are not on a challenge team, carry on... Don't worry about the numbers... But you are free to use the sketch anyway!

I've only had the time to play with one spread so far (working day almost over for me, yay!). I randomly picked March to begin and am planning on adhering personal photos down after posting here so I don't have to use the blur tool all the time but I've already messed up with that. Typical. March 01-06 in my 2021 memory planner featuring trumpet playing, Dries Van Noten's new ready-to-wear line for autumn/winter at the Paris Fashion Week, current events, little bits of pattern paper, personal anecdotes and my usual minimal style:

Linda You're always such an incredibly dedicated scrapper! Spearheading our crop achievements, yet again. Woohoo! 👍 Methinks you deserve some mini Cadbury eggs... "Rodeo" I love that you played up the cosy atmosphere shown in the background with that soft red. It's the perfect (muted) contrast to the green tones in the photos as well. A little moody and broody, just the right balance to remember a rodeo event (pure Far West drama to my European mind). "Sisters" Oh my, you've done beautifully with today's colour challenge. I absolutely love this combo of lemon yellow and bright white. Cheerful, oh-so springy, zesty and zingy! 🍋🐝💛 Gah, my eyes are in love. That honeycomb paper is so simple and beautiful. I love a good modern geometric pattern. This is a lovely tribute to a sweet sibling relationship... Well done!
