I do think it's very strange that the Nestor story dropped off the radar. Everything about it is odd and creepy, if not downright illegal. It's not like Gaetz has ever had a kind, thoughtful, giving, nurturing reputation. There haven't been years of articles praising his selflessness, and he's never tried to cultivate anything along those lines himself; certainly not by talking up his sexual prowess and showing pics of naked girls & women to his coworkers. I logged it under shit white men can get away with but I can’t. We didn’t stop talking about it in my circles though. |

I get that people can greatly admire and respect the person they work for, the leader of the country... but how idiotic do you have to be to 'love a President' like he's a *saint* in the first place?!? He failed to note that many states that allow 16 or 17 year olds to have sex require that both consenting partners be of similar ages. For example, Virginia has a close in age exemption that allows teens between 15-17 to have sex with each other. At age 38, Gaetz could not legally have sex with a 17-year-old girl in Virginia because the de facto age of consent is 18 years old. But Greenwald refused to back down in his defense of Gaetz. He's since been outed for many deceptions including setting women up (online and offline), scamming them out of $$ , etc. I'll look for the info when I can. As far as this info, I believe it. It's INCREDIBLE how so many FL Gov't officials were bought or swayed by Parnas, etc. Our stupid Governor only got "voted in" once Parnas stepped in with his $$. |

Chris Dorworth was in line to be Speaker of the Florida House of Representatives years ago. He was a truly awful human being - cheated on his wife, couldn't pay his Sunpass tolls or mortgage, failing businesses, etc. The only people in Tallahassee who could prevent him from becoming speaker were his fellow Republicans. While there were undercurrents about forcing a vote, many were afraid to do so because if their coup failed, all of the people who opposed Dorworth would have been powerless his entire tenure as Speaker. It took dogged reporting from a journalist with the Orlando Sentinel to let his constituents know all of Dorworth's issues. In 2012, his constituents voted him out in favor of a Democrat who didn't even have the support of the trial lawyers. The person was a 1 term Rep, but he at least did what needed to be done.
While he was in office, Dorworth had an affair with a staffer, who was eventually moved to a state agency to get her out of the house. Dorworth divorced his first wife, and his current wife is another former Florida house staffer. 🤢

Matt Gaetz (R-FL) in the federal sex trafficking investigation, Joel Greenberg, made over 150 Venmo payments to young women, including a 17-year-old — often with crude or racy memo lines. "Gaetz made only one previously unreported transaction in the newly obtained documents: a payment from the Florida congressman to the former Seminole County tax commissioner for $300 on November 1, 2018, with the love hotel emoji ('🏩') in the memo field," reported Jose Pagliery and Roger Sollenberger. "The Daily Beast was unable to tie that transaction directly to any woman, but confirmed that Greenberg booked one night for that date at The Alfond Inn, a luxury hotel in Winter Park, Florida." "An examination of Greenberg's Venmo transactions shows dozens of suspicious and curiously titled payments," said the report. "Some were as simple as 'Ass' or a lipstick kiss mark ('💋'). Others were more opaque, such as 'Stuff' and 'Orher stuff' [sic]. According to three people with knowledge of the relationship, Gaetz was among the men who tapped Greenberg to access a large network of young women. Three payments in the reviewed documents — in amounts of $500, $500, and $250 — were designated for 'Ice cream.' Five other payments were for 'Salad,' one of which topped $1,000." Trouble is that, unfortunately I've lost an article, McCarthy has now said he is waiting for conviction. Initially he had finally said indictment would take him off Committees. Gaetz still sits on the Judicial Committee with the DOJ investigating him. Conflict? You bet!!
