Congratulations nylene! I did Crop and Create Delivered last weekend. I finished four layouts but I still have so many projects to finish: another 4 layouts, a mini album, and a year in review pocket page set. And then I signed up for my LSS's NSD box, so I have more scrappy projects coming on Saturday.

Happy Tuesday! I am having a nice day so far. I got an Altenew floral die set I am gonna play with today. I have never tried their laying dies so I am interested to see how it works. Been busy working on our K. Simone Designs business. Ron and I really hope to make more progress this year. So this has been fun and good medicine for me these days. I saw hummingbird nest the other day in our apartment area. There were a few birds zooming past me and I was curious to see what they were up to. Then, I saw the tiny nest on one of the palm plant branches. Remember, we had a nest a few years ago right in front of my front window and that was so cool. So, I will check in on this new nest to see the baby grow. nylene- OMG! Your dgd's is married!!! I just can't believe how fast those girls grew up. I love the layouts you made. So delicate and perfect for a wedding! Congrats on the new baby, too!!!! I am so glad your family is having all this wonderful excitement these days. Also, prayers up for your bil and I hope things improve. Thank you for the YT love and comments. I am glad your dh was able to watch and enjoy. Tell your dh, Ron had fun making this video with me but probably won't be doing too many more anytime soon! LOL! knutschen- Oh, I hope your doggy feels better after the surgery. Hang in there and keep us posted! shinyhappytina- So glad to see ya and glad you had fun at the crop. Hope work is going well for you, too. grammadee- You are keeping us going around here with the fun activities. Thanks you! kitbop- I know you nurses must really be tired of this on going stress. Hang in there, my friend. linda- Sorry to hear about the lost of your cat, too. Boy, it's been a tough time hasn't it?!

Congratulations, nylene on the new little redhead! So cool that he shares his birthday with Great Grampa! Looking forward to seeing the photos--and the sweet pages you create with them! Wonderful that you are embracing your own "simple" style, and that you have wedding and baby photos to play with, plus a road trip. I am having a little struggle with my mojo right now, and part of it is I have not had many recent adventures to scrap and I want to TRY so many different things that I can't quite focus on just one of them.

Good morning ladies!!! Kitbop - your comment about languishing kind of made me laugh...I feel it too and it is exactly the right word. When I look at my staff of social workers who've had to keep pushing through all of the fear, trauma and turmoil from the past year, that is exactly what we are feeling. We keep stepping through every day, but my folks are tired and really long for something to feel normal and for the overcast gray feeling to go away. Linda - I'm so sorry about silver! Hugs to you and your dd's. Kelly - We had a nest of hummingbirds in the tree by my front porch last year. We really enjoyed watching them too! They are pretty amazing little creatures. Nylene - Congratulations!!! It's awesome that your newest little ginger was born on the same day at Steve and your gs. Can't wait to see the photos!!! Do you all scrap online together every weekend? I was thinking about doing some NSD challenges tomorrow and would love to join if you will be on, but I don't know where to go. I've been on a mission to eat better, so I chilled out on my sugar consumption this week and have been doing okay with cutting my portions back. I have gotten kind of fluffy over the year and a half that my ankle/foot have been injured. I had surgery in September and just finished 5 months of PT, but there is still something wrong with it. Regardless, I decided that it is time to lose the extra lbs I've picked up while I haven't been able to exercise, so I'm working on that. Thankfully, I think I'm through the sugar withdrawals at this point...I just have to remind myself that sugar is not my friend...sugar is not my friend... I hope you all have a nice Friday!

Do you all scrap online together every weekend? I was thinking about doing some NSD challenges tomorrow and would love to join if you will be on, but I don't know where to go. Please do come join in! The link will be posted on the GS board when the crop is open/close to open - it's a google meet - I click on it and voila. Friends are there There is a list of scheduled crop times on the GS board as well, stickied at the top by msliz. I'm hosting a crop tonight (6-10 pm EST) to start off iNSD. I noticed that tomorrow's crops are cut down (I think someone who planned to host couldn't host?) but there are still a few this weekend. I'm not sure what my day tomorrow will be like because it's DH's birthday, but I do hope to squeeze lots of scrapping into my weekend.

This is our first photo of DGGS since they came home from the hospital. His name is Edward and will be called Eddie for now. First name is his daddy's middle name and his middle name is his grandpa's (our DD's husband). So with his names and his bright red hair, he definitely fits in the family. Brock with baby Eddie shinyhappytina , I hope you can get on some of the chats this weekend. I am going to do my best to get on. It would be so great to see you again. I'm sorry your foot has not healed as expected. I do understand about getting fluffy. I have the same problem through sitting at home where there is always access to food. Congrats on being off sugar. kitbop , I am going to try to get on the Crop tonight. I need to get things ready so I will have something to work on. I hope you are feeling more upbeat. This has been such a long, hard year+. kellyr21 , I haven't seen any hummingbirds yet, but we don't have flowers out except dandelions! We will probably get our petunias and fill our pots in a couple of weeks. Then maybe the hummingbirds will come. justjac , you have lots of projects to do. What fun to have new product and new ideas. grammadee , I love what you have done with the half and half class. How are you feeling? We had DH's birthday cake and ice cream with Em and her family on Tues. It was so nice to have them here. All are vaccinated but little Alex and he wore a mask except when eating. I feel a little less restricted. We are trying to arrange a time that we can go to CA to see our DD and family. We are looking at June. We wouldn't do sight-seeing. We just want to visit with the family, especially the grands. I'm off to get something accomplished this morning.
