InterNational Scrapbooking Day is coming: the first Saturday in May, which this year is May 1st.
And while it will be a busy day in the virtual scrapping world, we hope you will take some time to spend with US! It will be pretty informal, but so far we have a few plans:
1. Virtual crops throughout the weekend, starting Friday evening. Schedule is HERE Check here on the GS board for links to each one. Join in, talk or not talk, scrap or not scrap, just share some time with some fellow peas who share the fun of crafting with each other and would love to share it with YOU!
2. A SKETCH thread where you will be invited to drop in sketches you have found or created, or use the sketches that other peas have discovered. Share what you create with your own or others' sketches.
3. Chance to join a May 2Peas Challenge Team. Create new challenges for the month of May, OR take on the list of 50+ April challenges over the iNSD weekend. If you sign up for a May team, you can earn points for that team every time you post a challenge or take one on, and iNSD weekend is a DOUBLE POINTS weekend! Of course you can be inspired by the challenges even if you don't sign up for a team, but we would love to have you join.
Until iNSD, check in here. Tell us your scrappy goals for that weekend. Ask any questions you may have. Whooo Hooo! This is OUR national holiday!

I'll be getting my 2nd Pfizer shot on the 29th so we'll see how I'm feeling but I really want to do something! My goal is to actually get January of my project life done because I will actually have some photos printed by then.  |

Yay! iNSD is actually NOT on DD's birthday weekend this year (her birthday is the 7th) so I should hopefully be able to scrap. Not sure what my specific goals are - there are so many unfinished albums to choose from.

Hum, YES! I am hoping to work on a few different albums, maybe even order some more photos so I can finish up 2010 and continue on! I have bits and pieces of other years done but 2010, 2011, 2012 were filled with making memories with our sons we adopted in late 2009. See you on that weekend, hopefully DH and DS will be understanding!

Weather permitting I hope to be outside gardening, hiking, or riding my bike. I am doing WITL April 25-May 1. I want to make sure I take enough pics on Day Seven, last year Day Seven was pretty sparse. I've got good foundation pages for each day set up using mainly AE 2021 Kit, and some extra coordinating cards for Day Seven which is also wrap up day. I know I won't get much done on May 1 except journaling! I need to record more. Which is funny, because I love to write.

I was asked a couple of weeks ago if we could move an event to the 1st May and I stupidly said "that's fine, I'm free that weekend". Of course now I'm kicking myself. Hopefully I'll be able to sneak in some scrapping time on Sunday.

I'm looking forward to the whole weekend! Not only cropping, but I'm hoping the weather will be nice and I can balance craftiness with fresh air, and keep netflix and ipad games out of the equation since they got so much attention over the winter!!! My DHs birthday is May 1 however, so I will probably have to give him some time too  |

I am sure I'll have down time to join in the festivities. I started prepping last night by ordering photo paper & a new ink cartridge, cleaned up my room a bit, and reconnected my photo printer. My Vicki Boutin preorder came in today, so I am going to put that to good use next weekend. And if that's not enough, I joined a May team to help me be accountable. I can't wait!! |

Today I kitted up all my March photos.
If I can remember, on Friday I'll pick up an album to home my 2021 layouts.

Loooordy, I have SO much to do!! I'm hoping to put a dent in it at least!! I am working on 3 albums consecutively. Three of each LO so they'll be virtually the same for each recipient. We took a Make A Wish trip in 2016 with my youngest DD so I've been doing those LOs forever!
I also have some re-organizing to tackle!

I've made arrangements to have the weekend free - DDs are horseback riding Saturday morning and D20 is going to an outdoor (masked, socially distanced) birthday party Saturday afternoon and the DH is taking both girls to the city to Ikea and the Lego shop on Sunday. So I'm off-duty all weekend. I'll either do the housework Thursday or Monday.

This is the Virtual Crop schedule for the weekend. There are still two open spots that need hosts if we want to keep them going back to back on Saturday. If you think you'd like to host, please check out the VIRTUAL CROP SCHEDULE and Hosting Sign Ups thread pinned to the top of the page for more info. These crops are for: Peas, Former Peas, Sisters and Friends of Peas, Pea Lurkers who are happy being Lurkers, and Nice people in general.  Before the start time for each crop, look for a thread on the General Scrapbooking board, posted by the session's host, with a link to the crop. We use Google Meet, so you'll only need to sign into your Google account in order to join.
