Got another one done today. I call this "simple" because it started with a Vicki Boutin mixed media background, uses only 1 collection, and I didn't die cut my title The scallops i fussy cut from one of the papers, and stitched together, distressing/roughing up the edges. I have so many photos of these kids in exactly these poses... layout birthday clowns by kirstendrew, on Flickr

Starting where I left off commenting on page three. Linda, I really like how those horizontal strips tie the two military fort pages together and that is a cute little cluster at the top right. The blues on your next two really bring out the colours in the photos. I like how you mixed it up with the offset strips, the squares and the circles. Moving on to this page: Those rock/ shell photos are wonderful. I like how you pulled out the purples for your cs and used the cute little mermaid on the two pager, and good to see you using some of that artsy pp on the single page. Great use of blue and sand on the page with the starfish border. I like the way those fishtail ends of the banners point to the photos and the papers reflect the sea and sand colours. jeremysgirl, you have really made your own little scrappy retreat WORK for you! Beautiful pages. Loving the crossover project when you scrapped about your crocheting. Pretty colours--you have the same eye for papers as you do for yarn. Your coworker is really cute! Love the photos of all the help. The rainbows really enhance the mood, and I love the little kitty stickers. Great use of the blues and greens on the Fathers' Day LO, and I like how the photos (LOL at the socks!) and other elements flow across the two pages. Sweet doggie photo, and I love how you used the pp squares on point to give the page a quilt like feel. Chloe really DOES have a pretty smile. Love all the layers on her page, and the sentiment on the tag is perfect. The Easter page is really cute. Love that Doodlebug (?) smiley sun. Love the dots and checks on the two pages with the friends and family titles. Such classic colours and designs: gives the impression of timeless relationships. I like that you used those colours again on Young Love, but the tilt of the second card gives this page a sense of adventure. And kudos on using the florals for the guy pages for Jeremy and Paul. Love the peachy orange with the navy on those two pages. WTG! You put the S in iNSD day! justjac and kitbop, I am leaving love on Flickr. This weekend has been wonderful to see so many people enjoying this hobby of ours. Thanks for playing along. Thanks for sharing.

I am LOVING everyones' layouts and cards! I should have joined y'all last weekend !!! I keep SAYING I'm going to scrapbook and make cards again, but I haven't..... yet. I wanna comment on every. single. one ....but that'd take forever! You're all inspired me to go into my scrapbook room and let the creativity flow !!! justjac ....You said the designs of your cards aren't your own, but did you color/ emboss all those gorgeous flowers yourself? The floral cards are just gorgeous!!! You've inspired me to create cool things with my hot embossing thingee (gun ?) ...whatever it's called. grammadee ....I love the colors of all the embellies on your doggie layout---and what a cute doggie! The toy donkey traveling layout is SO fun and cute! My friends do that with a Pez candy character that they're obsessed with---it has traveled to MANY cool places. My brother and I used to do a similar thing with a silly doll from our childhood. Posing a doll on a sign in the airport, posing her on famous landmarks, etc. Of course people thought we were crazy, but we didn't care! jeremysgirl ......All your layouts are so colorful, fun, and full of love! LOL at those socks Jeremy is wearing !!! Your cute kitty co-worker layout inspires me to do a layout like that of DH and the doggies. Needless to say, they LOVE that Daddy had to start working at home since last March.
