kitbop - I'm sorry you're having to deal with your dad like this. Hope you'll be able to get some "me" time in soon! I'm loving all the layouts! Can't wait to see more! My almost 6 year old hijacked my scrapbooking time today and I ended up helping her with her camping scrapbook. Okay, it wasn't much of a hijack, it's a lot easier to help her when she's happy with whatever she makes. I need to take a lesson from her scrapbook time. My husband is taking her to the park for a bit so maybe I'll actually get something done. I did finish printing out almost 3 weeks worth of photos and I'm still in shock I actually did that. LOL

joyfulnana , I hope you enjoy your scrappy time on line and then enjoy your family time OFF line. Linda , I love all the blues in your photos and in the cs you used with them. That take on the sketch with the hearts instead of buttons is wonderful. Love all the offset mats, and what you did with the circles and diamonds. You are the QUEEN of cs! Even when you use cs--like the Hawaii one--the colours are muted and the photos are still front and centre. Heading over to Flickr to leave love for your page, kitbop . Sorry your creative flow was interrupted by your dad. Hope all is well. Hoping everyone else is having a fab iNSD!

Ok! Finally I get some scrappy time! I'm getting ready to open my crop link. Today has been a little chaotic but it's just lots of things popping that need attention. So I'm ready to scrap. kitbop I'm sorry you're day and DH bday got derailed! Hope your evening is better. grammadee I've had some offline family time a couple times already today. LOL! But dinner tomorrow will be good. Both kids, DSG and DS2's GF. I'm looking forward to it.

msliz - love your layouts - especially the laundry chicken! grammadee- thank you - the photos are key for me, the scrapbooking and art/creative aspect are secondary. jediannie - how sweet she wants your help with her scrapbook (and how nice of your DH to take her out so you get some you-time!)

I got my photos moved around where they needed to go which always takes a while because I tend to wander off while they move and get distracted... but it turned out I didn't do it at the end of Feb or March so oops, glad I caught that. Once that was done my laptop needed charging so I worked on my little ephemera notebook and pushed through and got it FINISHED! yay. And then I put away or threw away all the extra bits, so it's really done. I even put it away on the shelf with previous years. All the extra papers are now chopped up to use for cards, so I did create another pile, but I'm still calling that progress. Here's the notebook: INSD May share by jo.blackford, on Flickr and a few random pages from inside (it's very random, just like our last 2 Christmases) INSD May share by jo.blackford, on Flickr INSD May share by jo.blackford, on Flickr INSD May share by jo.blackford, on Flickr

well done joblackford - those don't sound like the most fun parts of crafting so great job getting them done! I love your little notebook - how fun! Took a break for dinner and to hear about DH and DD's adventures in the city - they went to IKEA for the first time, DD was NOT impressed by all the walking. I think the Lego store stop helped make up for that though.

Very cool book joblackford . I especially love the pages with the postage stamps. Linda, I'm really enjoying your Hawaii album. You have some really beautiful photos. grammadee, the squares with the rounded corners - great effect. Now I want to try that too! kitbop, I love the torn and curled edges on the sewn strips. Great textures!

Linda, I'm really enjoying your Hawaii album. You have some really beautiful photos. Thank you - I can't claim any credit for the photos - My DS took them when he was sent to Hawaii on a temporary assignment last September with the Navy. The state was locked down so they didn't get much touristy time (plus they were mostly in quarantine or working) but he made the most of what he could do.

I missed all the INSD festivities this year, but I can't complain. I had a wonderful day with 6 great friends whom I've known since kindergarten. That's *60* years! We've all been vaccinated and it was the first time we've been together since December 2019. There was much hugging, laughter, and wine involved.

I'm jumping in late, but just sat down, hopefully gonna get a little done today.
One day off a week from work, plus a family, doesn't leave much time for scrapping.
I have laundry going, dishes done, and hoping to get my March 2021 Pandemic layouts in the album today. They're all started, none finished.

Working on pandemic journaling.
March marked 1 year for the beginning of lockdown & serious measures.
In March, I wrote down journaling in a notebook. Now I'm writing it in my album. Writing it on paper strips, on stamped journaling spots, etc.

Good morning everyone! I'm back in my scraproom and hoping to make more progress on DS's Hawaii album. I did two more layouts last night but all people pictures so not posting. First layout today will be the same - a group of them went kayaking together.

As far as I'm concerned, I'm finished March pandemic layouts. Journaling added. Titles added where needed. The layouts don't have much embellishments, but it's hard to know what to add to such a serious subject.
I have several regular March photos kitted up, and feel unsure where to start.
Still didn't buy an album for 2021. It's on my to buy list.

Good job finishing the March LO's LavenderLayoutLady. Linda, those kayaking pages are really striking. Love how you picked up on the blue and yellow in the photos. Hoping to finish a couple of LO's this morning in the virtual crop. Pulled out some photos and papers. Need to do a page for LOAD, but it will be off prompt b/c today's prompt doesn't really fit with the project I am working on. That's okay. Don't need to meet the prompts. Just need to finish a page. Still feeling a little overwhelmed with Shimelle's half & half classes, so not taking on those today.

Thanks for sharing the layouts everyone. I’m getting spring projects done around the house, but hope to work on some cards later. Love seeing what you’re all working on!

you go jeremysgirl - you've done a ton of layouts and each more beautiful than the last! I loved seeing your crochet projects also! If I had to choose a favourite it would be the one with the patchwork of squares but I love them all! Two more from me - I'm hoping I might actually finish this album today

I love seeing all these fantastic layouts.
Sundays are usually my only day off, and so they have to pack in a huge amount of errands and activities. Add to that the beautiful weather, and I didn't finish nearly what I hoped to.
But I still did some, and that's better than none. And best yet, I spent time with my kids outside and baking in the kitchen
It was a good day (and now I'm tired, LOL).
