scrapperjen1, did you post the photo on Flickr? To share here from there you just need to copy and paste the bbcode address from your photo there into the message here. Would love to see your LO. kellyr21, that does NOT sound like fun! Hope that after all that disruption, you can get back to normal this week. It was good to chat with gramma and kitbop and nylene and justjac yesterday evening, and I got to actually join into the crop today and finished a page for LOAD. Not my favourite page, but it is done... I think tomorrow I am going to get back to scrapping Jack.

kellyr21 , I am sorry about the need to fumigate. I hate bugs and spiders. Years ago we decided to have the house and yard sprayed to get rid of them. They come on a regular schedule and it makes me feel much better to not be seeing bugs around. I hope this takes care of your little invaders. It was fun to visit for a little while yesterday on the online crop. I love actually seeing my friends and being able to talk to them. scrapperjen1 , your Sunset layout is very pretty. I love the colors and left love in the gallery. From the gallery view of your page, you can click on the little arrow (bottom right). A code will come up in the box. Make sure the BBC above it is underlined, then copy and paste it right into the chat box here on this thread. There is a pull down that will allow you to make it the size you would like. It's fun seeing you scrapping. kitbop , I told Em that you had mentioned Ehler Danlos and she said that DGD has a Dr. appt this week to talk about that. She has just recently done some research on it and it seems to fit so many of her weird symptoms. I forgot to tell you that last year DGS dislocated her shoulder by reaching backward at a funny angle to reach a shirt. Also in Elem school she turned her ankle and was in a boot for a long time without much healing. She had a teacher tell her she was just limping for attention. The things you learn through 2peas! Thanks for the info. Tomorrow is an errand running day with DH, so I won't get much accomplished in my scrap room but it was fun to get a page finished during the Crop. My photos ordered from Costco will be here in a couple of days and that will be fun.

maribeth, I just finished sending you an email. In fact, I closed my gmail and came right over to this forum. How fun to see your happy face popping up. You have a new avatar! We miss you. I told you in the email about the online crops we have been having on weekends. We would love to have you hop on when you can. We had a day of lots of errands, dental appt for DH, and just a lot of time in the car. I am hoping I can sit down and do some scrapping tomorrow. My Costco photos should be here soon and then I will be overwhelmed! Have a great week, Pokeys!

kellyr21 I got your beautiful card! I'm sorry you are going through all of that fumigating though. Ugh. My niece I crop with is having her house turned upside down with mold. They have found it everywhere. I feel so bad for her. maribeth love your new profile pic! I had dinner plans with the kids, but younger DS couldn't make it. I still had the other boys here but again No Pictures!! I'm not sure what's up with that lol. I don't think I've taken a single photo this month. It was soooo good to hangout during the virtual crops this weekend. I needed that, and I'm almost done with my sample for Saturday's sketch. It needs some exacto knife work, which isn't something I do much of, so I'm hoping I don't mess up the whole page lol. I hope everyone is having a good week so far!

joyfulnana, I think picture taking is like any other habit: if you do it all the time you continue to do it. If you don't do it for awhile it slips away on you. I took very few pic's when dd and dgs were here for an afternoon a couple of weeks ago. nylene, I hope you get to play with your new photos and wonderful memories soon. Rainy day here on the farm. Might have been a good day for scrapping, but I need to pick up my big flower pot from the greenhouse. (I am too unskilled, or just too lazy, to plant my own tub. I take it to the lady there every year, and she sets it up to be pretty all season) So I decided that while I am on the road anyway, I can swing by the Native Friendship Centre in the next town to drop off donations. And since I am dropping off clothing donations from my closet cleaning last week, I may as well donate books from my overflowing bookcases. So that is how I spent most of my weekend, packing up books to donate. Most are already in the car: just have a couple more boxes to pack up this morning. Need to put together a quick page for LOAD first. Can't get behind in that after keeping up for this long!

I am doing great, thank you. Looking forward to being a part of the Two Peas gang again. Yes I did Calvinball but not as much as I would have liked. It is just so hard with my long working hours, I really only have Saturday and Sunday to work on projects and can't always dedicate that time to just scrafting as I do have house duties to tend to as well. Nylene told me about your weekend crops on Zoom. I would love to attend one sometime. Going to have to relearn how to post photos here, it is so much easier to do that on Facebook, I have gotten lazy.

Happy Tuesday! I am so discombobulated here! Things are slowly being put back into place and I don't do well with a lot of disorganization and clutter. SHM! Also, the city was gonna have a power outage this evening for 7 or 8 hours but it got postponed! So glad we don't have to deal with that on top of all this other jazz. Breathe! maribeth - Welcome back! So glad to see ya. Your doll stamp journals are so pretty! scrapperjen1 - Wow, you sunset layout looks so good and relaxing. Great job!

MARIBETHR, the on line crops are on Google Meet. msliz has a schedule pinned on the GS board. I love your Julie Nutting girls! Makes me want to pull out my own paper doll stamps and dies... kellyr21, I hope you soon see the end of the miscombobulation.

grammadee You should pull out those stamps, they are so fun to play will. And on that note, a rumor was going around on Facebook that Canadian craft retailers may have some of the older retired Julie Nutting Dolls in stock. I our group on Facebook we are all in search of Aurora, Suzy, Collette, Betsy and Gina. If you have any retailers in your area that might have these please let me know so I can contact them to see if they would sell.

kellyr21 - hope your life has recombobulated! I know that "frazzled" feeling so well, it's disorienting. MARIBETHR - Hi! I'm new to the pokeys since you left - what was your previous pea name? I've been a pea since the first week of the boards, but wasn't as active. I know neither of the LSSes near me have the julie nutting dolls - the one store carries them, but they don't last long!!! scrapperjen1 - love the circular die cutting and the colours on your layout We've finally hit hot weather here; amazing how we go from "don't plant because it's going to frost overnight" (that was the weekend) to 90 degrees. We barely get winter boots and winter tires put away and we're pulling out flip flops and tank tops. Not complaining Speaking of which - *still* have to get to the garden centre and buy plants! That is definitely this long weekend's chore. I got my "Crop and Create" bill/invoice today. Ouch. Having a week bit of regret, but as DH says I've never done anything like it so I should go ahead!

We barely get winter boots and winter tires put away and we're pulling out flip flops and tank tops. Not complaining Speaking of which - *still* have to get to the garden centre and buy plants! That is definitely this long weekend's chore. So THAT is where our warm weather went... On Monday, the temps got up to nearly 30C. But is SNOWED overnight. Has melted now, but temps are still hovering near freezing. My poor bedding plants are spending the day in the garage. Will post a pic from Tapatalk in a minute.
Put together my LOAD page this morning, with alot of help from my Pea friends with ideas on how to scrap dgs's first movie. Then I put some things away on the shelves I had cleared out for my donation run yesterday. Next cleaning project will have to be my scraproom. With scrapping different themes all month, and pulling out stuff without putting it away between projects, it is scary in here.
Making beef noodle soup for supper. It is a homemade soup kinda day...

grammadee, I can't believe you are still having snow. We have some low temps at night, but our tomatoes and flowers are in and seem to be ok. I think it's really trying to be Spring here, but it's not very warm. You are amazing in keeping up with LOAD. I'd be a basket case. It's a homemade soup kind of day here too, but ours was chicken noodle loaded with veggies. maribeth, your journal pages are beautiful. kellyr21 has done a lot with paper dolls and I love how fun they are. I used to spend hours making my own paper dolls from the Montgomery Ward catalogs. I guess that love has never gone away. Thanks for posting, and it looks like you remembered how to post. I left love in the gallery. kitbop, I am so glad that you signed up for your classes and that your husband it 100% behind it. You will have so much fun with them and look at all the new things you will learn. You have had a rough year, working long hours. It's time for you to take some time for yourself. kellyr21, I hope you can get your house put back together again. It will feel so good when it is back like you want it. Why are they rationing your power? Are you already having fires? I haven't heard about any, but we have had a few small ones. I wish you well as you get things organized again!

Whatcha up to, Pokeys? I am trying to quickly put a page together for LOAD before dd and her family arrive. They will be tenting on the yard this weekend, and helping with the garden. After our rain and snow, the temperatures have risen to a level that we don't have to wear our parkas out there, so we are good to go. I also need to clear off our deck, vacuum the seating and give all the surfaces a good wash, because that is where we will be eating. Due to provincial restrictions we are not to "gather indoors", although outdoor gatherings of up to ten people is perfectly legal. There will be five of us. Won't be joining you on the virtual crops this week. Have fun! MARIBETHR, I think you will enjoy these meets. Hope to get on for a few hours next weekend. Okay. Enough gabbing. Must get going...

Just wanted you to be aware in the event I don't get back to you on something, don't want you to think I am being rude. MARIBETHR, how was the weekend outing? I'm sure it must be nice to get away together even if just for a couple of days. I look forward to going to CA to see family in June. We need a getaway! kellyr21, my birthday was the 15th. We always celebrate it with Mother's Day so I don't even think about it. You have one coming up Sat, don't you? I am glad that you have things almost back to normal. There is nothing so soothing as having things orderly....the exact opposite of my scraproom right now. I hope you can take some time this week to do something artsy to lift your spirits. Linda, I am sorry that your garden provided a feast for a garden-eater. I noticed that my irises that survived the big winds have been chewed on by something. My other flowers still look good. Will you be able to salvage your garden? grammadee, how was the "outdoor" get together? It has been so cold here, I hope your campers didn't freeze! Is your holiday today or was it on Sat. We have Memorial Day coming up next Monday. I hope you all had a great time. This is the last week of school with Dance Festival for Alex and Graduation for Lys. It seems that this month has really flown. I'm afraid the summer will go too quickly too. Have a great week, Pokeys. justjac, kitbop, @misliz, it was fun seeing you on the Online Crop on Sat. I am loving those.

Happy Monday, Pokeys. Happy belated birthday, nylene! Hope you had a marvelous time. Linda, the phrase "if you build it, they will come" definitely applies to critters big and small when you are trying to grow a garden. We have had everything from tiny beetles chomping off the leaves to a MOOSE in our garden over the years. And last year our own dogs decided to harvest some of the carrots! We had a busy weekend. Dd & family arrived Saturday morning and set up their tent at the edge of our back yard. Dgs had his own tent in the bed of their half-ton truck backed into the camping spot. We had all our meals either on our covered deck or on the picnic table by the fire pit on the patio. Spent alot of time gardening, but there was also time for dgs and his dad to go on quadding adventures all over the farm. They had a chilly night, but dsil had all the winter camping gear, so they were warm enough in the tents. Yesterday they packed up just before supper to avoid the forecast rain for today. After burgers on the deck, they were on their way home. Today is our holiday Monday. justjac set up a Google meet with me and another scrappy friend, so we spent a creative couple of hours this morning. Put together the second page while on line: (The first page I quickly threw together for LOAD yesterday evening.) Let's Garden two pager by Gramma Dee, on Flickr

nylene - It was great. You know very well how much my job stresses me out, so anytime I can get away and not have to be at the office is a blessing for me. We plan on going the 9-13 of June and that will be all for the Spring camping, we will start up again in September.
