i love water ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ we're a 'no soda in the home' kind of house, otherwise my boyfriend will down them like it's water but at the end of spring/early summer is when taco bell releases baja blast in cans, so we usually stock up a little bit on those. and this year they came out with 2 special versions so we've definitely had 12 packs sitting around for the past month or so. my faaaaaaaavorite soda ever was diet cherry vanilla dr pepper, rip .

If I drink a pop/soda it's a Diet Coke.

The only pop I drink now is McDonald's coke. Luckily it's an hour away. That said, every once in a rare while, I like a really cold can of root beer.

Diet A&W Root Beer. Where I'm from, it's pop.

No one in my family likes soda - kids just like water but I would drink sparking water, beer or sparkling wine

It is rare that I drink soda. (1 or 2 drinks, every 6 months)
First choice is fountain Pepsi.
Next is A&W RootBeer. Don't really like Barqs or MUG.
I used to call it pop (grew up in midwest), but now say soda.

My favourite isn't on the list, cider. I used to love coke but I don't drink it anymore. I don't drink anything on the list.

I think I would rather drink the fat than to drink root beer. Blech!
I very rarely drink soda (where I’m from it’s all called coke), but if I’m drinking non sugar, I like Coke Zero. If I’m drinking the sugared version, I prefer Dr. Pepper. I will drink a Sprite or 7up. But I would say I probably only have a soda once every couple of months. I have a case of the small cans of Coke Zero in the fridge that was bought about January that only has a few cans missing.
If I’m in AL I’ll steal a Grapico from my Dad’s fridge, then about go into sugar shock.

Diet Coke or pretty much any flavour or brand of sparkling water. I love bubbles but not sugar. Lol

I used to call it pop (grew up in midwest), but now say soda. This could have been written by me, except substitute Dr. Pepper and Cherry Pepsi as my next two choices in place of root beer. I don't like root beer at all. It's VERY rare that I drink any sort of soda - once in a while when I'm having a deep dish pizza I'll crave a Pepsi with it. I grew up calling it pop (midwest) but it is definitely soda here (Northern VA).

Vernors !! I’m from Michigan and this is a Michigan treat. My HEB here in Texas carries it and I am so very happy about this. I normally drink unsweetened iced tea. But, Vernors ( ginger ale ) is heaven in a can.

birukitty , I also like San Pellegrino Limonata (and most of the other flavors as well), they're a definite splurge around my house (in both sugar-level and $$). DS and I both love them (the only soda DH drinks is Pepsi), but while DS is 21 and rail-thin, I am...not, LOL. So we rarely buy them, only once in a while as a treat. Even when I've bought them, I'll limit myself to 1-2 spaced over a long time. I have to walk by the variety pack in Costco with blinders on so they don't "accidentally" end up in my cart though. Mostly I drink water, coffee, tea/iced tea (unsweetened), wine, beer or other cocktails now and then. After giving up sugar, all sodas and sweetened drinks taste overly sweet to me, and I despise diet drinks - my system cannot take any of the artificial sweeteners.

I like Coke, Cherry Pepsi and Squirt, but very rarely have pop any more. When I do it's usually because I'm treating myself to a root beer float with A&W.

I love a Coke and sometimes an orange Fanta. I stopped the diet Coke a long time ago and I try to stick to water more than sugary drinks.

I love carbonated drinks but these days I generally drink seltzer. If I’m going to have soda, it will be a diet grapefruit soda with vodka—refreshing in the summer. Other than that, I couldn’t tell you when I last had a typical soft drink.

Not sure if anyone else has said this, but root beer and Dr Pepper both have a wintergreen taste to me. Growing up in the UK you associate that smell with first aid salves, specifically on called Germolene. So I hate eating or drinking anything with that flavor.
I voted for Coca Cola. Must be brand though.

My favorite pop ever was OK Soda, but since they don’t make it anymore I chose Cactus Cooler. They don’t sell that here, but I love it and always get some when I am traveling and see it.
I don’t drink any pop anymore (except for the aforementioned rare CC), just grapefruit bubbly water.

I don’t drink any of the ones on your list. I drink sugar-free Irn Bru (pronounced iron brew) otherwise known as Scotland's other National drink. I don’t know if it’s still the case, but for many years Irn Bru was the only indigenous carbonated drink in the world that outsold Coke in its home country. It tastes like no other drink, and is an excellent cure for hangovers. 😊

I won’t buy soda well cola. I stopped drinking when pregnant and didn’t want to start again after. I will buy root beer and will have a float every year or to. We drink seltzer’s. I’m mostly trying to cut back on sugar.
Recently we went out to eat and they had fountain drinks that you served yourself. It had Stubborn soda. Oh my. I loved it and drank way too much black cherry soda. I’m kinda glad that I don’t know anyplace local that had it as I’m sure I would make an excuse to go there. They had other flavors that were also amazing. I used to drink coke but it’s been more than 18 years. Oh I occasionally buy 7up or ginger ale to mix in drinks.

"Get me an orange or a grape - none of that stinkin' rut beer!"
I'd pick unsweet tea or a nice, icy can of Coke if I'm not having water, coffee, or cran-grape juice. I recently bought a pack of those mini cans of soda (root beer, actually) for my husband so he could have root beer floats. No thanks! Far too sweet for me.

I don't drink soda anymore. I stopped in beginning of 2010. In 2009, I drank exactly two sodas.
I drink a lot of water. I drink a lot of hot tea. Ocean Spray cranberry juice and cran-grape juice. Dole pineapple juice. Fruit Punch Strawberry milkshakes are my favorite, I like chocolate milkshakes as well as well. I also like orange milkshakes (seasonal at Arby's)
When I used to drink soda, it was Pepsi, orange crush, rc cola.
