I also like Seagram's ginger ale once in a while. Best one to drink when I don't feel well.

I've never had root beer. Don't think I've ever seen it here, or maybe I just haven't been paying attention. I don't really like most fizzy drinks (soda).

I’m in Michigan, so pop (although I switched to calling it soda for the 18 years that I lived in Florida). I only like diet pop. I gave it up for many years, and only started drinking it once in a while a year ago. I like diet vernors, diet root beer, diet Dr Pepper and I prefer Diet Pepsi over diet coke.

I'm a weirdo, I don't like carbonated beverages. You are not alone! I drink plain iced tea year round or ice water.

So what's your hot summer day favorite bubbly refresher? and..is it Pop or soda or something else to you? I am not a soda drinker at all, I almost always just drink water. Lately though I've been on a Root Beer kick. Its so delicious and for whatever reason it doesn't burn my throat or my nose like the colas to. What's your favorite? I tagged all those I can think of. Seeing the other thread where we are all calling Mary jane by different names got me thinking about the soda vs pop debate. And, actually, what do you call the herbal green refreshment? In my world its weed. My favorite is a Roy Rogers but I love you for listing Cactus Cooler. Such a drink of my California childhood! Cactus Cooler is a California area soda? I read another post here saying it was hard to find. I didn't know that! Cool!

I have never heard of Cactus Cooler, nor have I ever seen anything labeled Fanta either. My favorite pop is Faygo Cream Soda.

When he and I first moved back to Az, I couldn’t buy it here.

I gave up soda a few years ago, but I will always be a Dr. Pepper fan. Mr. Pibb is even better. However, my all time favorite is Delaware Punch. They haven't made it in decades, but as a kid that was a treat when my grandparents hosted a party. The only sweet thing about my grandfather was Delaware Punch. It came in a can, wasn't bubbly, but I'm counting it anyway.
ETA: When I've had a bad tummy flare I will drink a bit of 7-UP.
I always called it weed or pot. When I was in high school the kids who hung out at the bleachers at lunch were called "the stoners". Little did I know that a bunch of people were smoking pot. I was so naive.

California is the only place I ever see it for sale. It is so good. The OK Soda I mentioned above tasted like a more cola version of Cactus Cooler.
