Should have known you would be first off the blocks, Linda ! Love the variety of your cards. And they all look really bright and cheerful. You choose really great papers. And kudo's on getting so much done on that Disney album! Are you having fun looking at all those pic's of your family back then? They look like they are having a blast! I like the way you have used Disney papers on some, but on others have used patterns and colours that reflect the actual photos and will add variety to your book. Orange is an inspired background for your pool pic's: makes the water and people POP. Here is my one page so far for this month: a page for next year's calendar. Whoever posted the challenge of a point a scrap just made me a bundle I think!
POINTS: one page created & shared (2), R-1 Sketchy Sat (5), R-3 one photo for Donna challenge (5), P-2 nine crystal raindrops (9), p-4 five scraps (5), P-12 plaid (1), S/I-3 one ring (1), S/I-4 chevrons (1), S/I-7 sun (1), T-1 splash (1), T-6 diagonal (1), T-7 torn edge (1), W/T-3 L & Y (2), Th-6 swimming (1), Th-10 July pic (1), N/S-1 one photo (1). Total: 38

Wow, Linda! Way to go achieving your page goal. I love that you just kept going after midnight... Both of you using orange on your blue water/sky pictures - great idea. They really do pop. I did a quick revision of a couple of cards from last month, added a few little envelopes because they felt a bit blah. I wanted to keep them simple and "masculine" but I like them better now. Not claiming any more points on these but just wanted to show them properly finished. Revised July cards by jo.blackford, on Flickr And I made a couple of quick cards yesterday, trying to get back into the cardmaking mood so I can continue to clear my desk. This project has been sitting in a pile for a month or more, waiting for me to commit to sticking it down. August share by jo.blackford, on Flickr

I’m hoping this will work! I finally got around to scrapping some photos from a trip to Disneyland Paris in 2018. My DD and her fiancée took me for four nights as a Mother’s Day present, and we had such a good time!

joblackford , I am always amazed by how you can take just a few simple elements and create such beautiful cards! I need to remember that technique of splitting the base pp into wide strips. *leslie* you look so happy with Mickey! What a wonderful Mother’s Day gift! And a wonderful happy page commemorating it. Those two big clusters bracketing the photos are awesome.

Linda, I am impressed that you stayed up after midnight to use up your scraps and make cards. Nicely done! You now have a beautiful supply of birthday cards.~I love your photo heavy pages of WDW. There are so many wonderful things to see and you have really showcased them.I love the Mickey and the cute tags. My favorite vacation ever was WDW with Em and her little girls.~ You have some cute photos of your family too. I love the pool pages and the circular photos. *leslie*, your Disney page is beautiful. I love the circle at the bottom with lots of fun Disney icons. The outlining on your mats makes them stand out and brings the eye right to the photos. Totally cute. joblackford, I am always impressed with your cards. There is love in your gallery.

I'm not on a team this month (hoping to rejoin in Sept). But got a card in over the weekend. It's going to be a tough month w/work/family schedules but I hope I can sneak in at least one or two things... (from my IG)

I shared these on the sheetload sketch thread as well - more details there. I've really struggled to make use of these little cactus cuties so I was happy to make them work here. Aug share by jo.blackford, on Flickr

Thank you to finaledition who told us about the free cut files at Peartree Cutfiles, on their Facebook site. I downloaded this Ocean Air cut file and did a shameless scraplift of this layout by Rebecca Moore: Fresh Air

whipea yay you!! I'm so glad you've got back into scrapping! Your pages are fabulous, I LOVE the rosettes. And I am seriously drooling over your gorgeous new bathroom. Thank you so much! We are redoing all the bathrooms and that is the master. That bathroom took the contractor over six moths, should have been 3 weeks. He is so slow, plus is overbooked so only works on each job a few days a week. He started the second bath last month, only 3/4 done and now his crew has COVID. Finding honest skilled people where I live is very challenging so that is why we use this guy, very decent and honest.

I wanted to keep this LO pretty simple as the scenery in the photos is so vibrant. This is my DS and his GF. She is from Florida and this was the first time she had visited Scotland in the summer (2018). We had warned her it would be way cooler than she was used to, but it turned out to be the fourth hottest June on record, and she accused us of lying to her. 😂 We drove to Glencoe which is bleak and stunning, and somewhat different on this day than I had ever seen before! This photo was taken just before we got there, as Turriff needed a break. (He was the worst traveller, and barked and whined 90% of the time he was in the car. 😄)

Lovely landscape photos don't need much extra, but the blue highlights and the lovely leaves add just the right touch. Do you have a hidden journal card back there? I had to laugh at the comment about the weather - we went to Edinburgh for a couple of days while we were visiting the north of England in 2012, I was used to "summer" in that region after a cool week in Leeds, so I didn't pack any of the hot weather clothes I had brought. Turned out to be proper hot, hottest day in years, everyone was out sunbathing and enjoying the brilliant sunshine, and I didn't have anything appropriate to wear. My memory of Scotland is bright blue skies and sweltering.

lesley what a stunning page! I am a real sucker for blue and green, and add in a bit of black and white, wow! That cut file is wonderful. And it's so nice to see your gorgeous boy Turriff in the photos. Oh, and I had to look up "braw" to check whether it was a good day out or a bad day out!
