I've managed 2 this month. Both are based on the Scrapbook Generations sketch class for 6x6 paper pads. This one slowed me down because I didn't like it from the start... so I procrastinated. Most of it was done in July. I am proud of using ancient stash and stamps however! layout jk jake by kirstendrew, on Flickr This one I love - used my SCT kits which include 6x6 papers, and lots of sun dies. layout synchronized lake leaping by kirstendrew, on Flickr I just love the colors of both of these layouts. I have so many elementary school class photos to do. They are all inside with a horrible sponge pattern on the back. Love the background in your class photo.

All my kids' elementary class pictures are outdoors. Middle school they all moved indoors - and the photos are not nearly as nice - but I hadn't put my finger on this (simple) solution for schools!

I would imagine it would depend on when and where your class pictures were scheduled. You couldn't ever count on the weather to be nice when the pictures were scheduled in October.

I used a Scrapbook Generation sketch for this layout, and the 'Elysian' and 'It's My Party' kits, both by Humble & Create.

I have not done a page in forever! This one took me 3 weeks to complete due to constant interruptions and lack of motivation. I used Shimelle's field trip line and a Page maps December 2020 sketch. I had to Frankenstein the border paper cause my daughter actually had input on this page and really wanted me to use that paper and I only had one sheet of it and was already partially used. My Journaling is crap too. All squished, but whatever, it's done!!

I am a page behind on comments, but hope to catch up tonight. Here's a very simple page that has been sitting on my desk for a week, waiting to be glued down! Summer Camp

Linda, I just smile each time I see photos of your family with the kitties. Do those little guys know how lucky they are to be in such a loving family? Great studying online photos. This is a time we will all remember that schooling changed so much.~ I love those kitty papers. So adorable. I love the way you have used them on your Tabby page from corner to corner!~ Beautiful flowers and what a cute little gnome to do the gardening. Wouldn’t it be fun to actually have a gnome do the gardening! Cute page. kitbop and AussieMeg, I left love in the gallery. I always love seeing your pages up close to study your techniques. Beautiful pages. azcrafty, your Christmas card is absolutely gorgeous! I love the vellum and those wonderful berries and leaves. You are so good with stamping. The spatters are a perfect addition to the design. Amazing work. lostwithout2peas, welcome back to the Dark Side! Not really, scrapping is a happy place and it’s nice that you are enjoying it again. Your page is beautiful. Such cute bugs and floral paper and I love the laboratory icons you have used. Your journaling is too small for me to read, but I am glad you have included the story behind the page. Great work!

nylene - simple or not, your clean pages, wonderful embellishment/cuts and colour choices, always make me think of the cover pages of magazines! For example, I love the pp you used for the tree, it adds great detail/interest. lostwithout2peas - great layout, and I'm glad you pieced together the border because the "bugs" are a great head-nod to the biology subject. I really love how you brought together such an array of patterns while maintaining their individuality. AussieMeg - I love the border of balloons combined with flowers! Wow, it's really perfect and something I hadn't thought of, mixing items to take away from the "monotony" of a floral border, or a balloon border. Also, the colour choices are s.p.o.t. on! This is yet another SG sketch from the sketches for 6x6 papers class. The sketch calls for 3 large banner pieces in the background, and then smaller banner pieces near the photos. I changed it to mixed media background and tags near the photos. layout so impaired by kirstendrew, on Flickr

AussieMeg , you told me you loved blue and green and seeing my best boy Tufty, so this one is for you! (ETA the colours have gone a bit dark in this photo, they’re softer IRL)

Ugh, I posted a reply on this thread but it has disappeared. I'll try again..... lesley what a gorgeous page!! I love the colours of course, and the page design is great - definitely one to scraplift. And the photo is just lovely.... look at that good boi, he's crossing his legs! 😍Your journaling is wonderful too, it brought a (happy) tear to my eye.

This started out with a sketch from the scrapbook generations class for 6x6 papers. I was struggling - I just couldn't like where it was going. I cut some "mock up" navy triangles to play around before I cut my pp...and this happened. I'm pretty happy with it, even if I didn't get the sketch "done"!!! And I still stayed true to the intention of using my SCT kits (which come with 6x4 and 6x6 papers), including the tag which read "eat sleep love craft" (altered obviously) AND the banners were supposed to read "craft" and I just used the letters for "cat"! layout sick cat by kirstendrew, on Flickr

lesley - ode to joy is a fabulous layout - I love the contrasts and how the stitching pulls the different orientations of strips all together. The story is sweet. craftymom101 - that is a whole lotta dog! I love how you used so much black and white to coordinate with the dog, and brush strokes + the graphic uses are just wow!

This is a scraplift of lesley 's layout a few posts up. I'm almost embarrassed to post it, I pretty much copied it exactly. I even used the same colours for crying out loud! I had every intention of changing it up a bit and using completely different colours, but the photo said otherwise. Thanks for the inspiration Lesley! My mojo has disappeared this month so all of pages so far have been sketches, templates or scraplifts.

I used the August 2021 “Spectrum” NJFB kit for this page. I love the colors. I pretty much copied it exactly Same. Love the greens and blues!! I changed it to mixed media background and tags near the photos. Great use of tags!! I did some boring stuff in the craft room, but then I also cut some stencils w/my silhouette and played w/some mixed media. Here was one... Gonna see if I can turn it into a card.
